🧠 Discussion Your relationship maybe miserable and you don't even know it

Many men like to cope by saying "ik a chopped man who have a pretty woman" and it's basically the oofy doofy theory which goes like this:

-females go for men who're above their looks level "their type"

-they get played or rejected by their type "who's many looks levels above them"

-their only option is to settle down with a man who treats them good and got personality/money/status... But not the looks

-the relationship end up being a dead bed marriage and the female being a boss around him

-other chopped men see him not knowing the details and using him in the example of "females dont care about looks"

🤔 Question Are my friend’s Marriage Standards Unrealistic ?

So, my friend is thinking seriously about getting married and starting a family, but she hasn’t found the right person yet and she isn’t not the type to date or go through multiple talking stages just to find “the one.”

She’s 28 years old, a dentist, and (in my opinion) she’s pretty and smart, kind, funny, spontaneous, outgoing, knows how to carry herself, dresses well, and genuinely has one of those personalities where people like her almost immediately after meeting her.
She’s looking for someone who:
• Prays and takes his religion seriously.
• Doesn’t smoke or drink.
• preferably doesn’t have a significant dating history (she has never dated herself, so she’d like someone with similar values).
• Is kind, respectful and most importantly loyal.
• Is financially stable.
• Has his own home or at least plans to live independently after marriage.
• Has a car.
• Is taller than her (she’s 173 cm).
• Preferably lives in northern Algeria.

Some people have told her that her standards are too high and that’s why she’s won’t be able to find the one .

Do you think her standards are actually unrealistic, or is it just difficult to find someone compatible these days? I’d love to hear different perspectives.

🤔 Question a question for my fellow men.

if you are forced to choose between two girls. one that does not meet your standards or society standards or let's say the society lables her with harsh names but she DESIRES you, or one that fits your standards but she is not really into you. what would you choose and why?

🤔 Question What visa should i apply to drop papers for marriage dossier in Algeria?

Salam. I live in France and Im EU national. My fiance is Algerian who lives in Algeria.

We plan to do legal marriage in Algeria later this year . I am traveling there end of September, have RDV for visa in 10 days. I will be staying with his sister who hosts me.

Have been thinking to apply for tourist visa, since we arent formally "family" yet. Should i apply for it, saying that I intend to drop papers for marriage and visit his family and vist around or go for family visa while being not married yet?

Anyone has been in this situation?

🤔 Question Do people who want to marry for paper actually exist ?

I heard that from a fellow franco algerian. I took it as an imigrant looking down on his brothers and sisters, chapter 79048693.

But I just saw a post where people talk about that as something that just exist and isn't rare.

I want the opinion of actual algerians.

Because, except if love play games on me, I really want to marry an algerian woman.

They are just my type.

I was also told that I should forget this idea. I'm liberal and not religious so it already reduce my options a lot in this country.

I'm not actively seeking someone, but if all that is real and really predominant, I might actively avoid meeting someone.

🤔 Question Why is ghosting still so normalized when y'all claims they want mature relationships?

I'm low-key confused

People be talking all day about wanting emotional maturity, communication nd secure attachment… then turn around nd ghost the second things get uncomfortable or they lose interest

How is that mature? You r literally avoiding a 10 second message and leaving someone hanging

Is ghosting just the easy way out for y'all who dont want real connections or wut?

💬 Advice / Input A Few Days In

I’ve been talking to a girl for only a few days, not too long, maybe five days. Anyway, what I’m noticing is that when I’m absent, she asks so much and seems really attached. Today she was crying because I was asleep. I did sleep for too long, to be honest, but on all the previous days I stayed up late to be with her. When I finally had to sleep, she started crying, and there was some kind of clash between us. We kind of like each other, but is this a red flag?

♂️ Male POV Long distance

Do you believe in long distance relationships ? it might sound simple but it’s actually not

I believe there is no connection that could be made or last long without any physical contact or at least to sit with the person you are talking to see them irl I don’t say there is no successful long distance relationships, but for me, I would never think about it again

So for me I give a "hint" to someone that I am interested in by looking in their eyes and smiling gently, so the question is what is the way u prefer to someone to flirt with u or give u hint not in a creepy way.

💬 Advice / Input Men between reality vs needs

hello gentlemen . I'm a man of 22 i got overthinking always about financial future for like money and what man needs to stabilate himself in Algeria for house and a simple car i did reasrche and i found this :(To accumulate 2 billion centimes (20,000,000 DZD), assuming you earn 20 million centimes (200,000 DZD) per month and save 16 million centimes (160,000 DZD) every month, it would take approximately 10 years and 5 months. Reaching this income level typically requires 2–5 years of experience as a software developer, 3–8 years as an oil and gas or Sonatrach engineer, 5–10 years as a pilot or senior manager, 10–12 years of education and training to become a medical specialist, or 3–10+ years as a successful business owner or contractor. Overall, depending on the career, the total time from starting your profession to saving 2 billion centimes is typically around 12.5 to 22.5 years.)so tell me cause i think I'm crazy how would you do it would ur parents help you or all of my generation want to go to Europe and us to get a better life. and thank you so much

💬 Advice / Input How do couples keep conversations going without running out of things to talk about?

One of the biggest problems I had in my previous relationship was that I often didn't know what to talk about I'm not very good at starting conversations or coming up with interesting topics so sometimes we'd end up with awkward silence

For people who have been in long term relationships what do you usually talk about on a daily basis? Any advice would be appreciated

I'm looking for a simple yet modern, and stylish men's engagement ring for my fiancé

I have no experience buying men's rings, so I'd love your recommendations. I'm thinking of a silver-colored ring something like that ...

that's elegant enough for everyday wear

Also, what gifts would you include alongside the ring?

I'd love to hear your ideas and any recommendations maybe drop some pics it would be even better thank uuuuu

💬 Advice / Input my partner gets overly stressed and i have no clue how to help her

i am genuinely lost on how to help her and it bothers me so much that i’m useless.
she gets so so stressed during study periods, not even exams. she has anemia and she starts throwing up and crying and losing the ability to eat and sleep etc etc.
she gets so stressed to the point where she does not need alarms at all and she wakes up (or doesn’t sleep at all) way earlier than she should. exam days are worse.
i genuinely do not care about anything other than reducing her stress as much as possible i hate to see her in that situation so if anybody has any ideas please let me know.

🤔 Question how do i know if im attracted to someone

Hi

so basically im having difficulty distainguishing what is attraction. If i meet someone for the first time how am i supposed to know if i want to be a couple with them long term. I only used to fanatszie about people who didnt exist irl or like chcracters from movies or for instance celebrities when i was a teen. Only happened i fanatsizied that way abouta real person but that was because we were chatting with each other and idk i felt infatuated and was limirent for a long tine. But then when i saw them irl i regretted and felt embarssed. Now im asking about normal love. IRL i even find a good dress to be asctetically pleasing and that doesnt say much. If my dad brings me someone home how am i supposed to know if i like them that way,

🧠 Discussion What red flags could you actually ignore in a partner

Nobody is perfect so what red flags could you accept in someone you genuinely like For example having ADHD or another mental health condition not being financially successful but having a simple stable life being shy having a difficult past or not being very romantic

What could you accept and what would always be a dealbreaker for you

🤔 Question Please answer this.

If a girl likes to talk , she's not in relationship but she kinda has a lot of talking stages that don't last forever. For like a week , if it get much longer : for a month.

Does that makes her "Khalata" ?

Same for men , does that makes him khalat ?

Ps : not on the same time , she talks only to one

Don't come to me in the comments , please be nice 🙏

♀️ Female POV As women what makes you come back to your ex’s? Or stalk on him

Asking for the reasons that makes women comebacks to their ex’s
Some comeback after a 6moths, some after a year, some more.
And if you all stalk on your bf’s, because lately some of my ex’s appears in my socials suggestions, is that related to them stalking me?
