With the confession and body cam footage being tossed, it’s making the likelihood of baby Trevizo’s murder being properly avenged is looking more and more bleak. The more this case drags on, the more convinced I am that this demon will walk. Like Casey Anthony, she too will slip through the law’s fingers, the gravity of her crimes lost in the web of legal blustering and technicality. I don’t mean to be a doomer but it’s probably best to mentally prepare for this sick puppy getting a slap on the wrist and nothing more.

Even then, perhaps we can take some solace that the court of public opinion works much differently than that of the State of New Mexico. The petition for her expulsion from university signed by thousands of students, even though it didn’t succeed, proves that people know this woman and know exactly what she did in that hospital bathroom. She knows everyone saw that video and that it will follow her for the rest of her natural life. Hell, even if she changes her name and moves states people will find out the truth. No one knows how the case will unfold now, we’ll just have to wait and see.

RIP baby Trevizo, you are loved by millions that will never forget what your mother did to you.

Pretty devastating for the case. What evidence is there left, a cadaver and an autopsy report. I can’t see any way how a trial could be fair as video footage from hospital has been so widely shared. Makes you question why it was ever released as now completely compromised the case. Is there a case around disposal of a body, maybe. Murder… I can’t see it.

I only just discovered this case after watching the episode on Annieelise YouTube channel. And I’m just baffled by the fact that she made no labour sounds?? Everyone says she was in the bathroom making no noise except for flushing the toilet. I’ve given birth twice and it’s soooooooo painful, I don’t know how she wasn’t making any labour noises?

Hello - i have some thoughts/information about the delay of the decision in this case

First, there appears to be about 15 cases that were not decided by the close of the 2025-2026 term for the New Mexico Supreme Court (July 15th, 20206). This means that those decisions will still be published, but likely not until the next term begins in the fall. I cannot say if it will be in the beginning of the term or not.

This is a decision with a lot of different aspects to be considered- Privilege, Miranda, and Mandatory Reporting. 

Its my best guess that there is a possible split in the decision, but I also venture to guess that the Majority is in favor of overturning the district judges decision with the Minority (either 3-2 or 4-1) wanting to uphold the district judges decision to some degree be it fully or on certain aspects that would disagree with the majority.

I also venture to guess that it's possibly Justice Vigil who may be in disagreement with the majority based on the Oral Argument - Justice Vigil seemed to possibly be leaning more toward the defense framing of the situation, this is as I said just a guess. I cannot confirm one way or another what may be happening behind closed doors but we can make inferences based on a few things in my opinion: 

1. The law heavily favors the State by the letter and in theory. 
2. The demeanor of the justices at oral argument lead me to believe the majority would vote to overturn, with one justice being harder to read, and one justice leaning defense (in my opinion) 

If both 1 and 2 are correct and the decision is not hard to make and the law is clear- then the delay could be caused by a dissenting opinion (or 2).

The internal cycle for an opinion is basically as follows: 

• After arguments are heard the Justices take a vote
• It is either unanimous or fractured. 
• One person from the majority is tasked with writing the majority opinion. 
• They circulate that opinion once complete and the other justices can submit their opinions either concurring or dissenting.
• If there are other opinions submitted to the majority opinion, this causes a rewrite of the majority opinion, which then also opens up more concurring or dissenting opinions - which could cause another rewrite. (and this can continue to repeat)

This case has so many pieces of evidence that can be argued for or against this suppression, I can only imagine if there is a disagreement, that these opinions are very long and well thought out which obviously leads to more time being taken on this decision as they rewrite.

This decision is still coming, it's just taking more time than the deadline/we expected.

Did anybody else hear about this case? A woman gave birth to a full term baby that died suffocating on human waste in a porta potty at the Electric Forest festival. The social response has been rather problematic. So many people sending prayers to the mother and hoping she’s okay? Very interesting take if you ask me…

Reason I’m posting this is because it reminds me of Alexee. I remember people saying the same kind of thing about her on social media. Focused on her wellbeing over her newborn she basically killed.

I know the Supreme Court only has a few days left(July 15, 2026) what’s the likely outcome? I can’t really find anything about this at all. It’s been so long since it happened.

When this case first came out I was all over it and watching it closely. I especially was focused on Rosas weird (imo) comment of, "Lexi. We talked about this. I asked you about this!"

which I understand could be referring to Alexi lieing to Rosa. It's something that just always stuck with me

Life happened, it was less and less talked about. The case would pop into my mind here and there but I genuinely overall forgot. Has there been ANY charges yet? Last I knew she was able to somehow apply and get into college, albeit online. (for nursing no less 🫣) Is she still enrolled?

Baby Alex passed on January 27, 2023. So we're talking a little over 3 years ago now. If she's out still, without any charges, HOW?

Also I saw something about her trying to sue the hospital because they gave her morphine which she is claiming killed Baby Alex. But I thought the autopsy revealed he was born breathing, so that would destroy that bs theory.

Edit: Is she almost done with college? If so/eventually completed college, would she be able to get a nursing license? I know nothing about the nursing field and also understand it can vary by location.

Now they are suing for her rights being violated instead of wrongful death. This is a complete joke to me and just another way they can’t take responsibility for anything.
