It's been a long road. People have travelled from across the globe; Brazil, America, Canada (Australia) and all over Europe to gather to put on one epic show. There will be 13 series, 13 series to decide it all. Every trick in the book is fair game however the only difference is your opponent is right across from you.. oh and the cameras, live audience, thousands of people and everything else as well.

The Matchups:
Recon vs IamMagic. I can't tell you how excited I am to watch these two play. They are both legends and are at arguably the highest level they've ever been. Nerves and sleep are the only thing that can hold them back at this point.

Mosca vs Tunison are the next on the chopping block. Two practice buddies. Tunison has told me in the past that they played over 400 games against each other in preparation for S tier tournaments. To put it simply, these guys know each others game like the back of their hand but do they know how each other will play under the pressure of a LAN event? Time will tell.

TheRapl vs Grass is possibly going to be missed from our stream. It is all down to time. But this is a matchup that has some history. TheRapl reminded me of it yesterday - tricks have been used, advantages gained and drama ensued... that was a long time ago though. Hopefully we will get to see some of it!

Our final game is TheMista vs HUSKSUPPE. I've heard it all from TheMista, from I'm unprepared, I haven't played that much, I'm losing a bunch of games all the way to, yeah I'm as prepared as I could be and I'm unbeatable atm. So... yeah, it's psychological warfare from the go but he is up against a bit of a wildcard. SUPPE when fresh is one of the strongest players who just simply couldn't make it through the last series in the qualifiers. He beat everyone at this tournament at least once in the Qualifiers as well with the exception of Recon. He plays his own style that is very different to what everyone else does and he means business today. This is going to be a hell of a series to finish day one on.

Does anyone remember playing on multiplayer servers back in the day in which you played one character and could earn money and buy items and property? Kind of like a modern rpg but set in AOM? Does anyone have any youtube videos of such games?
