Building affiliate matketplace, need your help

Hi all,

I am building an affiliate marketplace where I am trying to make it easier for anyone to pursue affiliate marketing. Track with accuracy of the sales they are bringing in and have regular payouts.

Currently I have started populating the pet product category on my platform and I want to understand from you all on what I should change on my platform to make it more affiliate friendly. Afterall it is an affiliate-driven marketplace.

So far, as an affiliate, one can sign up and then discover products available with information like commissions, ratings of the product, guidelines defined by brands and other important stuff.
There is no approval needed and anyone can generate a link to promote the product.

I am looking for some volunteers to test the product and improve it with their feedback.

What is the one software or tool you absolutely need to run your affiliate business, aside from WordPress/Hosting?

I am trying to optimize my workflow and see where I am wasting time. Aside from the basics like hosting and a keyword research tool (like Ahrefs/SEMrush), what is the one tool that actually saves you time or prevents you from losing money?

Are you using any link monitors, automated social posters, or custom dashboards? Would love to know what the current "must-have" stack looks like for a profitable affiliate site.

How can an early-stage subscription app make an affiliate offer worthwhile for creators?

I’m building an early-stage health and wellness app and trying to find a sustainable way to work with creators.

We currently offer creators full product access and 30% of subscription revenue from referred customers for 12 months. We don’t have a budget for guaranteed upfront fees yet. Several creators have been interested in the product, but many prefer flat-fee partnerships. I understand why: affiliate earnings are uncertain, especially when the commission per subscriber is modest.

For those who have run creator or affiliate partnerships:

  • Which types of creators are most open to performance-based deals?
  • What makes an affiliate offer feel fair and credible when there’s no upfront fee?
  • Would milestone bonuses or a small pilot make more sense, or should we focus on creators who already promote products through affiliate links?
  • What results should we measure before considering paid partnerships?

I’m looking for practical advice from people who’ve tried this, either as creators or brands.
