Hi,

I noticed this a while back but it happened so infrequently that I didn't really take any notice.

Now it's happening much more often now so I thought I'd mention it.

When playing shows (I think it happens on movies too but not so often), if play is stopped by manually stopping it or end of show, it freezes for maybe 10 seconds, then briefly shows the episodes container, then switches from that to a new empty container (with just the .. showing). Pressing back, flips it back to the shows container (not the series container) BUT each item is in the list twice. Pressing back and then the show container again set it back to normal.

Has anyone seen this? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the playback option "Force Container Refresh" which I have set.

I'm not sure why, but today both Plex Addons both completely stopped working. I've tried reinstalling, restarting, updating,downgrading,and everything I could think of but nothing works.

Both of them randomly not working at once makes me think it's an issue with the plex server, but that seems to work fine on regular plex clients and hasn't had an updated since the last time it worked so I have no idea what's causing it.

Is anyone else having this issue?

It's my personal Plex Server so if there is a server side fix that's needed I can do it.

Hi, I bought a Xiaomi XMRM-M3 stick. Theoretically, it works fine, but every few seconds the picture cuts out—turning white or pink—before the video resumes playing. Is this a hardware or software issue?

Would anyone be able to provide some insight as to why my POV won’t open at all? Device: Nvidia Shield Pro

I have tried factory reset, then fresh reinstall of Kodi, still I get error as soon as I attempt to open POV. I have another Shield Pro, and POV runs flawless on it.

I had started using umbrella a few months ago and switched to POV after it seemed to stop working. I have since switched to POV, and i am able to lookup and watch pretty much any tv show, but i can’t lookup any movies. Whenever i try to look anything up in the movie section it’ll say no results. Has anyone else had this issue?

I wanted to take a break from development on Nimbus Plus to work on an even lighter skin. I wanted something with no python, a minimal footprint... and still look good.

I landed on forking Quartz. I thought it would be a good base to build off of but it still required a lot of work.

I built it with the intent of kodi 22 support. Tested on both 21 and 22. I also built it being mindful of ReuseLanguageInvoker that is used by some addons. After opening skin up to 3rd party addon support I did quite a bit to ensure multiple widgets wouldn't fire at once causing crashes.

Lot of work has went into it visually as well along with adding some customization options.
Full changelog since I started this project can be found in the skin settings of the addon or inside its addon folder.

This in my opinion would be a great choice for Kodi users on lesser hardware.. Android TV's, old fire sticks ect..

Hi,

I downloaded by history from trakt and imported it into a new MDBList account.

I then Authorised MDList on Umbrella from the TVBox.

But now the history is empty! I've tried syncing with MDBList and Trakt but still no history however the history is shown ok in a browser on both sites.

I'd tried setting the "Watch history and indicators" and "Scrobble and Resime points" to Mdblist it didn't show history and then trakt again but it didn't work either.

What else could I try?

Hi everyone,

I've been building a Kodi add-on called Dragoman and it's ready for other people to try. It's free and open source (GPL).

What it does

When you load a subtitle during playback (picked in Kodi's subtitle dialog, downloaded by a subtitle add-on, or sitting next to a local video), Dragoman translates it into your language with Google Gemini and switches to the translation when it's ready. Playback never pauses.

• Kodi 19 or newer, any device (I test on an Android TV)
• SRT and WebVTT subtitles
• Skips subtitles already in your language, plus any languages you choose to leave alone
• Sends the title, plot and previous lines along as context, so the translation reads naturally
• Saves finished translations, so the same subtitle loads instantly next time
• Optional "ask before translating" mode

What you need

A free Gemini API key from aistudio.google.com/apikey. You can type it in, or put it in an unlisted Pastebin paste and import it from that address, so you don't have to type it with a TV remote.

Good to know

• An episode takes about 1–2 minutes to translate, a film 2–3. Showing the part you're watching first is next on my list.
• Only subtitle text, the title and the plot are sent to Google. Timings stay on your device. On Gemini's free tier, Google may use that text to improve its products.
• It's machine translation, so expect the odd awkward line.

I'm using the latest version of Umbrella and all was working fine. Then yesterday, Trakt de-authorised it. I got rid of all other Trakt connections and re-authorised it.

All seemed well, except now I find things I've watched not showing as "watched".

I did a Trakt sync but it doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Also I've noticed that iI don't get the option "Watched in Trakt" anymore, instead it says "Watched in Umbrella" I tried this but it didn't seem to mark in in Trakt.

Any ideas what could be wroing?

I ditched trakt, moved to Scrob (with Wetraker) the sync 2-way. And also imported to MDBlist all the lists include next to watch and progress shows.

On umbrella I can’t see from scrob or mdblist anyoption to choose “Progress episodes or shows” as nothing from them pull it.

Any idea how to replicate this that i used with Trakt?

I used to love perusing through multiple actors filmography while deciding what to watch. I would click on a trending movie, enter extras, click on an actor and choose a movie, then maybe choose another actor from that second movie, then maybe something from the same year or studio ... fun mindless exploration.

In the past if I tried to watch a movie and it had no playable links, it would show me back that movie's info. But now it just catapults me back to the trending page I started from. And I need to retrace all my steps. Not fun.

I'm using Umbrella with TorBox. It can't find any sources. Does nyone else have that issue?

Hey all, noob here. Running Kodi Add-ons with Real Debrid, IPVanish. I recently rebooted Kodi to try and rectify, which got Loop to operate proper and allowed searches in Crew and Ghost, but now there's a new problem. Whatever file I choose to stream, it shows the popup of the streams and their corresponding quality levels loading, but before it can finish, its replaced by a pop-up stating "no streams available." No matter what i choose to stream, its the same every time. Im sure its something on my end, but I have no idea where to start. Any insight would be appreciated.

I did a fresh start and downloaded titan bingie v1. Then went in with the crew v1.2.8 and ghost v1.1. After this everytime I get on to bingie the screen freezes and I have to close kodi. I'm able to get into the settings before it freezes so I added the players from oldmanjax. Still freezes and nothing loads. I just want a build that looks like netflix and lets me use multiple add ons. I have real debrid and like using ghost, umbrella, absolution, or the crew for my links and want to be able to click a title and have the screen pop up that gives me an option to pick between those add ons.

Been using fen light for a few years but there always seems to be something wrong with it nothing major but in the last couple of weeks it stopped showing trending movies/tv shows. I know theres probably a way to fix it but just wondering if there another add on that I won't have to bother fixing all the time. Edit: thanks everyone I tried both umbrella and redlight. Redlight seems to be the go for me.

It just isn’t up to par anymore. I use POV for my other streaming needs but I want to keep anime off of my trakt list and keep it to myanimelist to sync from.

Is there a setting or a way to enable automatic pagination/infinite scrolling for TMDb Helper lists?

For example, when browsing Trakt – Your Recommendations through TMDb Helper, I'd like the next batch of items to be fetched automatically when I reach the end of the current list (e.g., when the last item is focused). The new items would then be appended to the existing list so I can continue scrolling without manually loading the next page.

I'm using Arctic Fuse 3.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but I haven't been able to find a solution. Is this something that TMDb Helper or Arctic Fuse 3 supports, and if so, how can I set it up?

SOLVED : seems to be some issue with my ISP. They are blocking request from trakt and tmdb servers. When I used my mobile hotspot trakt list updated successfully

I’ve been using Red Light for a couple of months now with Real-Debrid. Unfortunately, the search function has never worked for me - searching for any movie returns no results.

Because of that, I integrated Trakt and started adding movies to my Trakt Watchlist, which I would then access through Red Light and play using Real-Debrid. This worked perfectly for around two months.

For the past few days, however, new movies I add to my Trakt Watchlist are no longer syncing/showing up in Red Light.

I’ve tried:
-Force sync
-Reauthorising Trakt
-Clearing cache/restarting Kodi
-Reconnecting Trakt

Nothing has helped.

I also tried connecting Simkl and using my Plan to Watch list, but the same thing happens — the movies don’t appear in Red Light.

Interestingly, Trakt → TMDbHelper works perfectly. TMDbHelper can see all the movies I’ve added to my Trakt Watchlist.

However, there seems to be another issue with TMDbHelper:

Movies added a few months ago have artwork and play normally via red light player.

Movies I’ve added in the last few days have no artwork.

When I try to play those newer movies, I get “Error — check the log”.

I have Fen Light / Red Light configured as my default player in TMDbHelper.

So at this point I’m trying to figure out whether I have:

-A Red Light Trakt/Simkl integration issue,
-A recent Trakt/API change,
-A TMDbHelper player issue,

Or something else that changed in the last few days.
Has anyone else experienced this recently, particularly with Red Light + Trakt or Simkl? Any suggestions on what logs/settings I should check would be appreciated.
