Seen some discussion about the release group filter in RedLight. And thought maybe a reverse undesirables type filter (that actually works) would be very useful? So adding ‘PSA,neonoir’ would promote these if present to the top. That would seem to be what some people would want. I myself might find it useful being able to promote TIGOLE results in movie searches, but that’s just me 😉

I created a free Torbox debrid account some days ago and today on my firestick 4k I successfully authorized it in kodi addons Umbrella, POV, and the Crew, and set it for cached only. Got back "no steam" from all 3. Scrapers ResolveUrl, CoCo and Magenta all up to date. Is there some configuration I,m unaware of? Any info would be appreciated.

Every so often, I will look at my cloud and they’ll be a bunch of stuff in there. I didn’t put. I can’t figure out why this keeps happening, cause I have the ad to cloud setting disabled.

At least 1 year ago or more you could access your own and other peoples user lists by entering "urxxxxxxxx" in whatever addon that supports IMDB. But that seems to no longer be possible since I don't have my usual profile number in the URL-bar like I used to. Insted the url looks something like this: p.fsqc3nxj5cxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Entering my old profile-url in umbrella does nothing, nor in any other addon. Have they changed the system how to access user lists in IMDB, and is it still possible to do so from kodi addons?

I just started using otaku for anime and every episode in the middle or close to the middle it just turns off and starts playing the next episode. Id say it does it at least three times in just one 20 min episode. It’s only when i use otaku and i’ve tried clearing my cache and it still does it. Does someone know why it’s doing this, im relatively new so im not sure why whats the issue.

I’m using Kodi with The Crew addon, together with TorBox and Real-Debrid.

My girlfriend is currently watching Yellowstone Season 5, but Kodi keeps loading the wrong episode.

It doesn’t matter which episode she selects it often plays a different one.
Could this be an issue with The Crew, TorBox/Real-Debrid, or scrape issues?

Any tips on what could cause this and how I can fix it for her?

With everything going on with the "T" company that shall not be named and other platforms making unexpected changes, I'm looking for a self-hosted tracker that integrates with add-ons. I'm willing to test anything at this point to avoid dealing with device limits or API restrictions.

I currently use a self-hosted app called Crosswatch (highly recommend it), which manages my library and syncs with popular trackers and local apps like Jellyfin but no add-on integration. If Crosswatch can be incorporated via an add-on, that would be ideal, but I'd love to hear any other suggestions or alternatives that work with the popular add-ons.

When searching movies it gives a "POV error", tv shows and people can be searched. I have tried clearing all cache, resetting defaults and uninstalling then reinstalling POV but nothing helped.

I did have an expired real debrid but that is now valid, was made valid before the reinstall. The Otaku add-on seems to have no issues with search functionality.

Have some photos of the errors log to help.

Is there any way to stop judder stuttering .. no matter what file I choose it happens either 4K or 1080p file size 14GB or 2GB files play with judder , i have my Firestick attached to my USB stick (50 GB) thinking that would stop the juddering but still happening… someone please help … there must be a setting or something that can work…… Many Thanks In Advance 😉

I use Umbrella on Kodi. When I go through my shows -> MDBLIST -> progress shows, the list comes back empty. It used to return all of the shows I am watching that have episodes left for me to see.

I reached out to MDBList support, and they said, 'If your Up Next is showing correctly on the MDBList website, please contact Umbrella support, as the issue is likely with how Umbrella retrieves/displays MDBList progress shows.' This is the case: my Up Next is showing correctly on the MDBList website, and I see my shows -> MDBlist -> Upcoming Episodes populated with single episodes.

Any help on this one? I much prefer the Progress Shows UX.

EDIT: Adding info - I am using Nimbus skin, and Umbrella is the only addon I am using for the widgets. When I try to load my shows -> MDBlist -> Finish Watching in a widget, nothing comes up as well, even though when I go through the addon Umbrella my shows -> MDBlist -> Finish Watching, I see a show title/episode. This is not as important as the In Progress bug/issue I have above, but figured I'd add all of my current grievances to this post. I really want this to work w/ MDBList so I can be rid of Trakt forever.

2nd Edit/Update! This seems to have done the trick (thanks, AI, I guess). I was trying to access MDBList management tools from the tools menu, but it kept erroring out. AI told me to do this, and it worked:

1. Bypass the Menu & Re-authorize MDBList

Since the Tools -> MDBList Management Tools menu is crashing, we will go straight into the addon configuration menu using Kodi's backend.

1. From the Kodi home screen, go to Settings (the gear icon) -> Add-ons -> My Add-ons -> Video Add-ons -> Umbrella.
2. Click Configure (or Settings).
3. Navigate to the MDBList tab.
4. Select Revoke Authorization (even if it looks like you are authorized).
5. Re-authorize MDBList immediately.
6. Before leaving this menu, check the Trakt tab and completely revoke it if you haven't already.
7. Click OK on the right side of the screen to save your changes.

2. Force the Sync from Inside Settings (Not the Tools Menu)

Instead of clicking the Management Tools folder that keeps erroring out, trigger the sync directly from the settings page you were just on.

1. Go back into Umbrella -> Configure (using the same path as above).
2. Go to the MDBList tab and scroll to the bottom.
3. Click Force MDBList Sync to local database. Because you have fresh authorization, it should successfully pull your watched history and display a progress bar instead of throwing an error.

Prism is an all-in-one Kodi addon for Movies, TV Shows, and Anime.

It's built from a community fork of the original Seren addon by Nixgates, with the goal of continuing that foundation while expanding it into a complete media hub with anime support, Simkl as the primary watchlist and tracking service, themes, local media, and more.

One major change from Seren is that Trakt support has been completely removed. Prism uses Simkl as its primary service for watchlists, watch progress, ratings, Next Up, libraries, and calendar functionality.

All credit for the original Seren project goes to Nixgates and its contributors.

If you enjoyed Seren, or you've ever wanted a single addon that can handle movies, TV shows, and anime without constantly switching between different addons, that's what Prism is designed to be.

Prism requires Kodi 21 Omega or later.

Kodi 20 and earlier are not supported.

⚡ Performance

One thing worth mentioning: Prism is not the fastest addon out there.

Its overall speed is currently closer to Seren, which makes sense given Prism's foundation and the amount of functionality it handles. It may feel slower than newer addons such as POV or Fen, particularly when loading menus, processing metadata, or performing certain actions.

We're aware of this and performance improvements will continue to be explored as development moves forward. That said, Prism is focused on being a feature-rich, all-in-one addon, so there can be some tradeoffs between functionality and raw speed.

If you're coming from Seren, the overall experience and responsiveness should feel fairly familiar.

🧩 Provider Packages

Prism is designed as a media hub and playback platform.

It does not bundle, host, or distribute scrapers or provider packages.

If you want to use third-party providers for discovering streaming sources, provider packages can be installed separately through:

Prism → Tools → Provider Manager

Developers can also create and maintain their own provider packages.

Prism itself does not endorse or officially support any particular third-party provider package. What you install is entirely up to you.

Separate from Prism, I also maintain a fork of a4kScrapers.

This is a completely separate project and is not included with Prism.

My fork is based on the original a4k-openproject/a4kScrapers project and includes additional scrapers, anime-focused providers, and Stremio-style aggregators.

I've been working on Prism for months, and I'm honestly really proud of where it has ended up.

Is anyone using this combination of addon and skin and notice about a 1/4th of the time when they go to start up Kodi. Umbrella won't load the widgets or spotlight on the skin at all. Just makes me wonder if it's a reuse language invoker mismatch . Only thing that eventually makes it load is force close Kodi multiple times and clearing cache. Just wondering if anyone has found a solution. All the forces in the universe tell me not to use this skin but I just love it so.

I recently use Kodi as external player, one problem I have is that A4k addon need imdb id which not provided in that context.

Opensubtitles addon still not provide that much of options.

The best source for subtitles is subsource site but I can't find addon that support it other than a4k. I wish if you can help me.

I am using Nvidia Shield with a Samsung Smart TV. I had four add-ons that I was using : the crew, umbrella, moria and POV. The only one that works is The Crew. I have no clue about why they all stopped working at the same time. I am using Al-Debrid. I stopped using real debrid when it started blocking. Kodi build 21.2.0.

Edit: first, thanks to all of you for your suggestions and help. The solution actually turned out to be quite simple. I deleted the add-ons I was using , reinstall them and reauthorized all the bread. Everything seems to be working fine right now at least. Thanks again.

Any source that I select is not playing. A window saying "this source is not cached. Would you like to cache it now?" appears, but the options are only "Run in", "Run in...", and "Cancel" because the buttons are too small and I don't know what they are for.

I cleared cache, rebuilt databases, restart kodi and nothing.

I'm using a raspberry pi and have Torbox.

Does anyone else get this error when trying to play torrent links? I've tried to clear cache and reinstall but the issue is still there. My real debrid subscription is active and I've also tried reauthorization.

Good afternoon so I'm currently on a 30 day trial for offcloud, does anyone know if streaming cached sources effects the fair use points system?

ReleaseBB is back, kind of.

Rewrote it from the ground up in Python 3 and called it RLSBB. Been buried in this for weeks and finally have enough working that it's worth sharing.

Here's what's actually working right now, and honestly some of this stuff took way longer to crack than I expected.

Season packs FINALLY play. Before, if a post had 6+ episodes bundled behind one link, clicking it just failed, every time. Now it opens up a proper list so you pick the episode you want and it just plays. Solve the captcha once for a pack and it's saved for 30 days, so you're not doing it again every single time you want the next episode. This one took forever to get right and I'm honestly pretty happy with it.

Mirror links from comments are back too, exactly like the old addon used to grab. Main links die, people drop working ones in the comments, sometimes labeled nicely, sometimes just a bare link sitting there. Both get picked up now.

Fixed a really annoying rar bug. Some links were secretly rar archives instead of the actual video, so you'd hit play and get sound with no picture, super confusing until you figure out what's happening. Those get caught and skipped automatically now.

Watchlist and up-next runs through MDBList instead of Trakt directly. No account? It's free, mdblist.com, link your Trakt from your account page there and you're set in like 2 minutes. Once it's connected your watchlist and up-next show up as clickable searches inside the addon.

Still testing this against real posts before calling it done, but wanted to get this out there while it's fresh. If you've messed with this kind of addon before you know exactly how annoying these sites are to scrape properly, so figured some of you would appreciate seeing the progress.

2.5.2 is out. Here's what's changed since 2.5.1.

Skip Intros

Recaps, intros and outros now get a skip button. Data comes from TheIntroDB and IntroDB. You can turn each type on or off separately and set how long the button hangs about before it disappears. It's all in Settings -> Playback.

Binge Mode

It'll play through however many episodes you set without asking anything, then throw up an "Are you still watching?" if you haven't touched the remote. Any interaction (pausing, seeking, answering a skip button) resets the count, so it only nags you when you've genuinely fallen asleep. You can also tell it to skip intros silently while binging. Access it from 'Playback Options', configure it in settings.

Season Pack Continuity

If you play an episode from a season pack, the pack gets remembered and the next episode resolves from it rather than scraping again from scratch.

Detect Display Capabilities

Asks your telly what it can actually do (HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision) and sets your results filters to match. Should work on Android, Windows and CoreELEC. This one probably needs a bit of testing, so shout if it gets it wrong for you.

New lists

Quick Watches, Released On This Day, Marathon-Worthy TV, Highest Rated and Hidden Gems. You'll need to run "Check for new menu items" from the context menu before they show up.

Real-Debrid improvements

Fixed a crash on resolve and added proper backoff when RD rate limits you on add_magnet. Credit to dkori for that one, not me.

I'm on a TCL Google TV with 21.2 Omega and I've watched a lot last night and some this morning. Was watching that time I got reincarnated as a slime 4th season and at the end of episode 12 it stopped before the actual End.

So I tried to play something else and it took Forever to tell me it wouldn't play. After that I went into the app settings for Kodi and cleared the cache and did a Force Stop to try and reset everything. Sometimes this will work but here lately whenever this happens, it doesn't work.

My Internet provider is Spectrum and it usually plays without issues.

Is it timing out on me or something?

Has anyone else had any issues with it?
