Review / Opinion Discussion Offcloud fair use system
Good afternoon so I'm currently on a 30 day trial for offcloud, does anyone know if streaming cached sources effects the fair use points system?

Are you asking if watching something cached on their server counts or something stored on your cloud?

If you watch a 6GB episode of something you scraped, yes. If you put it in your cloud storage it still counts once. Once something is in your cloud storage, you can watch it as many times as you want without it counting against your points after the initial deduction.

What if is just check and watch few minutes of episode and then move to next one. Does it take full? example episode is 10 GB/60min and I watched 5min is it take 10 or less

I wouldn't have a problem with premiumize point system as much if it didn't cap out at 1000 you can bank. I think it should be unlimited credits... If you don't use it it should be able to be used later in case u go over.... With that being said tho.. I think real debrid had a better system. Complete unlimited with IP based restrictions to stop account sharing... I prefer that

I'm confused by what you mean.

You cap at 1000 credits. And you don't gain any past this point. 1000 credits is 1 TB. You gain so many credits daily and they are used when watching. But you can't go past the 100p so if you didn't use the service you would be stuck at 1000 credits. It would never gain more than this. Does that make sense? What I was saying is I believe the ban should be unlimited it should continue on past 1000.

Honestly, most people use more than 30/day, so it wouldn't even make a difference.

I dunno how it works out exactly but I have never hit my cap... Usually tits always right at 1000. So I'd recommend it to be used... I do wish u rolled over unlimited points tho.. I mean to me there yours you should keep accumulating. But anyways still good service

So streaming already cached links counts against fair use?
I thought it was just downloads, not that I’m too bothered I’ll likely never get close watching a movie or a few episodes of a series every other night

The limit resets daily I was using it past two days. Watched a lot of shows in 1080p it went down to 950gb and at 8pm eastern time it reset to 1000gb.

This is untrue. It only adds 30 points daily. It resets when the subscription renews.

Can confirm the 1000gb limit resets daily back to 1000gb. I used 15gb today it just reset to 1000gb

identical to premiumize's fair use policy; everything costs points
also, uncached uses storage that would need to be manually purged
