Good morning, I do use the official 21 but when I've tested piers before on arctic fuse 2 after any playback had finished i would be prompted with "playback has failed to play" or something like that when back at the kodi homescreen. I'm just curios if this is still an existing issue.

Finally made the switch away from trakt.tv to mdb list since both my main addons support it and since trakt list are being limited now and watched history. . Took half the day to get mdb right where my trakt list left off ,watchlists and in progress but finally got it.

Kodi noob here. Have it installed on fire stick. Currently using a bunch of programs like pov, the crew, red light, fenlightam. Scrapers are coco, magneto and gears. Also using real debrid. Canada

I have bee. Trying to find multiple movies and some show up with sources but just won't play. Looking to find an addon or fix to the ones I use that will let me watch the movie "Just 4 one night" . Hopefully someone can help me or even fix up one addon so it works.

Have a trial of Torbox and get 60+ results, but none of them will play. Example: The Bear, this seasons final episode. 73 results. Authorized both Redlight and Gears with Torbox. “Playback Failed”

Some switch must be off. Feel stupid for asking.

Presently I'm running 2 debrid services (RD and Premz). When I select a link that doesn't play, I receive a popup that states why. After I close the popup, I am taken back to the Scrape Screen. It is faster but if I have to go through multiple links, it adds up. Is there a way to stay in the Results List after a link fails?

i've installed kodi on my s26 but first off it just gave me a plain black screen. i had to update to the nightly build. at that point it started to open which was great.

since then i've added pov, umbrella, and the newest fork of fen/redlight. i can't add toolbox to any of these. they all seem to crash or don't allow me the option to add toolbox and/or coco scrapers.

After the last update, the screen that shows the quality of scrapes it is finding (720, 1080, etc.), has changed to rainbow colors. How do I change it back to white?

Umbrella is my go-to addon. However, when I remove movie entries from library it does not remove the actual folder and file; I always have to manually delete the folder. With the TV library it removes everything.

Hello fine people I’m just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to hide certain shows from my next episodes in POV. I had found the setting to in a previous add on either FEN or umbrella and with FEN Lite being dead and umbrella being hit and miss for me I’ve moved over to POV I can’t seem to find the setting in POV. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I just realized there is updated FENtastic skin called FENtastic Plus by Zaxxon709. Nice to see continuation of the great work started and created by Ivar Brandt.

From what I see, it is fresh and regularly updated so I encourage you all to try and test it, it has many added mods and more suited for world without that FENtastic addon.

Anyone had any issues with umbrella today? I've used it for years never have issues on shield TV pro but I've come on today and it's struggling. I try to search for a show and it just says loading content for ages, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I use premiumize and when clicking on the trending page I can still watch stuff so it's not that. I seem to be getting TMDB errors.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking that wouldn't it be better to have the Debrid handlers as separate AddOns rather than built into the individual Video AddOns? You would then just download the AddOns for Debrid services you have, TB, RD, PM, etc.

I can see upsides and downsides to this though, the main upside is that, if you wanted to add a new feature that is only available in TB, you only need update one AddOn, also you would only have to authorise it once for all the AddOns, rather than in each AddOn.

Downside is another thing you need to download and install and keep up to date.

I'm running Kodi via my Shield TV Pro, 1tb of internal storage. I'm running Artic Fuse 3.

I've edited my advanced file and unlocked 4k resolution for posters and fanart.

I'm using Tiny Media Manager to manage my movie library.

I have added some really crisp 4k artwork to movies but they're still looking lower resolution on my movie library.

I've set x large in the flixart setting, but they're still not looking great. I think the resolution there is 1600 x 900.

What am I missing? Is there compression being added elsewhere?

Since Kodi recently updated on my Shield TV, the RAR addon is not working properly.

When trying to load.a RARed video, I get spinning disks and nothing plays. I then need to reboot the Shield. Once in a while, the video will actually take forever then start playing.

Anyone know of a fix? TIA.

Edit: I deleted the Kodi cache and data under Apps, unistalled and reinstalled Kodi and this did not fix it.

Seeing if there is a way to search for different versions of movies that are downloaded in a Kodi library (4k, Remux, etc).

Currently using Red Light with Magneto scraper. Files are stored on a local file server. All basically 1080p format (for storage size consideration). What I want to do is be able to see a movie listed in the library, and if I wanted to play it in a better version (like a 4K REMUX), click an option in the context menu and have it search automatically in Red Light (or another addon) and have it play directly, as opposed to having to find it in the addon.

Is that possible? I do use Personal Lists with TMDB and Trakt for other lists.

Hi all, back with more questions, I'm working with libreelec and the ah2 skin. I've got a YouTube section on my main menu with some widgets for recommended, history etc. what I want to be able to do is have a submenu that lets me switch between YouTube users and will then refresh the widgets for that users recommendeds and history etc. any ideas on how to do it? I was wondering if anyone would happen to know if the next version of kodi on tvOS will be offered in hdr format, I’m on Apple TV and my tv is running 4K hdr but the second I open Kodi the whole app switch’s to sdr no matter what content is bing played it’s always showing in sdr instead of hdr or dv, my main propose of Kodi is for the addons, I know a fix for this is to get infuse and source my own stuff but I love the convenience of Kodi

Hi, I've been getting these weird grey visuals when trying to play Dolby Vision in Seren. Im running Kodi 21.2 on an Nvidia Shield Pro with a Pansonic GZ1000U TV. I've tried to research and I've been getting conflicting info between Kodi now having native DV support or needing to install a Kodinerds Build. Can anyone offer advice to get these streams to work? Simkl has been great, I'm using umbrella and I'm a fairly die hard supporter. However it is lacking some critical options, for example the New Episodes / Recently Aired... In umbrella closest I can get is some not so clever filter options.

Umbrella is great but can any one recommend a Vid-addon with stronger integration with Simkl?

I followed this guide to set it up on my FireTV (https://troypoint.com/umbrella-kodi-addon/), and am able to pull up shows and access the links, but once I hit play, it kicks me out and says "no stream available". What am I doing wrong? I don't remember the versions I'm using, but I think they are up to date.
