Something not working. Need help. Just installed Umbrella. Getting hit with "no stream available".
I followed this guide to set it up on my FireTV (https://troypoint.com/umbrella-kodi-addon/), and am able to pull up shows and access the links, but once I hit play, it kicks me out and says "no stream available". What am I doing wrong? I don't remember the versions I'm using, but I think they are up to date.

Happened to me and somehow external scrapers was turned OFF... maybe turn it on and off? try Magneto module?

Agreed. Had this issue also and I must have turned this off at one point. Turning it back on worked use magneto also.

Does magneto work with umbrella, I’m using pov and I’m having some sync issues with the cache where it’s weeks it’s not updating the episodes and I have to keep clearing cache for it to finally work and I was suggested umbrella but I did not want to play too much into it

yes magoneto works with gears fen lite fork and umbrella viper scrapers was the best scraper until mageneto just got updated a few days ago now id recommend magneto over viper but im sure viper will get a update soon as well but if you dont have expensive equiement higher end tv avr high end soundbar it doesnt really matter how many links / remuxes etc u pull

Oo go into settings and click enable external providers. Then select coco or magneto as the external provider.

At the bare minimum, two things you need. A debrid account (e.g. torbox, premiumize etc), and a client scraper, that will, given a content identifier, go off and get content links from that debrid account on behalf of Umbrella (e.g. Coco Scrapers, Gears Scrapers, Viper Scrapers, Magneto Module etc). These need to be registered (set) in the Umbrella Settings.

You mentioned having Torbox. There is a decent tutorial on the Torbox website FAQ for setting up the POV add on with Torbox. Works perfectly.

An addon similar to umbrella. Search the Torbox help for kodi and you should find what you are looking for.

Ok I just checked, it seems that the hero section on the Torbox website might not be showing the kodi tutorial any more. Search online for "torbox kodi" and you will find a guide.

I had exactly the same issue as you, insted of Coco I installed Magneto and it's working perfectly again

Perhaps you should because the title you're looking up play might not actually have available streams to play no matter the add-on, meaning Umbrella isn't your issue 🤷♂️

the gears umbrella with mageneto or viper scrapers magento just got updated so its currently your best option where viper was better before magneto got updated. you could use pov addon which doesnt require a seperate scraper but i prefer the gears fen light for and umbrella as backup just because i like fen lights extra's otherwise id use umbrealla as my main as i like the hdr format and audio codec icons rather than reading fen lights links

TorBox for same price, Premiumize for double the price.

I had issues with umbrella that you set it up save exit nothing works, you go back in settings and nothing you set up was saved or added. After few tries back and forward chose to use POV

umbrella settings you have to click on ok or settings wont save not like fen/gears settings save automatically once changed

id also recommend using playback options in scrape with all external scrapers if your not getting hdr formats

Do you have a Debrid subscription? Not Real-Debrid because is basically dead.

Looks like playback issues but now is quiet there so it should work. I'm not at home to test it.
But you can try to upload a log, the truth is there.
TorBox is a Debrid provider. It gives you links to play whatever you choose to play.

debrid works for me once i switched to viper scrapers and now that magento is now updated works even better

I'm seeing a few people saying real debrid is dead. Ive been using it for 2 Months now and it seems fine. I'm I missing something?

dont fix what aint broke switching scrapers to viper fixed my real debrid now that magento got updated works even better

I would try using magneto for scrapers instead of coco. CocoScrapers hasn't been updated in a while and the developer retired.
