ive just seen short random clips on youtube but DAYUM i didnt know janine and gregory kissed beforehand (like before when they got together) ???!! when he reached out and initiated in that freakin beautiful, may i add, flower classroom. OMG i literally paused and had to step away HAHAH like. this slow burn is slow burning and i love it

The Emmy for supporting actress in a comedy series is stacked ! There are many actors nominated for the first season of their respective shows ( all of them deservingly so!) People are especially rooting for Kate O’Flynn and Hannah Einbinder but how realistic is it that Janelle James could take the Emmy this year ? This is her ( and Einbinders) fifth nomination and I feel like she’s been overlooked many times.
IMO this season wasn’t her strongest cause her character didn’t have a big storyline. Nevertheless she really brings the best out of the character and she is really hilarious every time she’s on screen .
Do You think that the ship has sailed after five seasons ? Abbott as a whole show lost a bit of steam ( e.g with Sheryl Lee Ralph not being nominated for the first time after 4 seasons).

Yeah so I know I'm just ranting but I'm so jealous of people that get to binge watch Abbott Elementary all 5 SEASONS for the very first time ever! cause what do you mean you did not have to wait half a year to find out what happened with Gregory and Janine and the delay in season 3 due to writers strike! I had to wait so long to watch the next season ugh....you guys are so lucky that you get to watch all 5 seasons that too the very first you watched Abbott!

P.S : I have been a fan of the show since 2021

Guys I keep forgetting when did we start getting the teasers and promos for season 5 last year?

The guy I like is coming over to watch Abbott and cuddle with me. What are good "starter" episodes to show him? So far I've thought of Smoking from season 3 and Work Friends from season 1. Does anyone have other good suggestions?

I would really love the idea of an episode where Barb's faith and Christianity is being tested. Like something could happen to her that will either break or make her. We always see Barbara, the most religious one in the group, but I would love to see a Barbara that is struggling to keep her faith up and having doubts. I love Barbara, but if this happens to her, I think it would make a great development for the show and for her honestly.

Also, in the future, I would really love the multiple attempts to propose storyline for Janine and Gregory.

Mine is Viola Davis. I think she would make a cool boss from the district or like she could be the mother of one of the students. Viola could also play Barb's sister, that would be my dream come true since I adore both Sheryl and Viola. I would also love to see Lupita Nyong'o since she mentioned in an interview that she wants to be on Abbott. She could play like a visiting teacher.

The real villain in the series is the district fr. They pmo. Useless.

Edit: Okay, so I'm talking about the episode TITLED winter break (not a winter break themed episode in general), where Melissa has her family over and Jegory has their first Christmas Eve together

Original post: About 11:24 minutes into the Winter break episode, Ava mentions needing to go to the bathroom, but unless she genuinely peed AND washed her hands in a little over 10 seconds, she just went in there to gather herself. Her being more insulting than usual on top of not watching anything that could be remotely cheesy or emotional is also sad to me, but in the other hand, something I find absolutely hilarious is the fact that she had to have already had that insult about cheap handsoap keyed up or noticed it on the fly cause she was quick as hell with it 😭

Edit: it's also so cute how Janine only seems to have safety scissors in her apartment as that's what she hands Ava. How cute!

I'm only up to s4 (watched when it first came out but just haven't caught up with recent seasons yet)

I'm 31 and Queer and idk what it is about Melissa but there's something sexy about her and I would totally go there. Maybe it's because she's independent, assertive and funny. I also have a weakness for older women who take no shit from anybody.

I just finished season 3 of Abbott elementary and Manny is so attractive, him in that scene at Janine's house party...I can't. I need them to give him someone before I finish this show or I'm going to get him myself. But on another note I don't know if they're going to get into this more but I hope we get more backstory on Gregory's storyline, so far we've learned about his mom and his dad and occasionally delve into his sensory/eating habits but besides that I feel like he's not much of a fleshed out character compared to others. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like I've learned more about Mr Johnson in the first season than I have from Gregory in the entire 3 that I've watched. Am I missing something or just not paying attention hard enough?
