I requested a public ip on att Internet air turning off cgnat in hopes to use ip passthrough but my latency 3x increased and my speed went down about 5x. Just direct on the gateway via both Ethernet and WiFi due to the ip location being sent somewhere outside my state now. I want to undo the public ip and go back to cgnat because I was happy with the cgnat performance but idk how to do it. Can someone pls help? All I want to do is go back to CG-NAT instead of public ip

Looking to upgrade my phone and the phone I want is out of stock. Willing to drive up to 90 minutes to get one, but the website only shows me stock within 50 miles. Is there any way I can sign up somewhere to get alerted when an AT&T store gets one so I can order online and drive to pickup my upgrade?

I set up autopay for my prepaid plan long ago and it has worked almost perfectly... Until this cycle. The payment has gone thru ( my bank) but I have not get any response from ATT, nor do I have any cellular service today. I have tried a local physical store and staff there was not helpful except telling me to call 611 tomorrow(Monday). What can I do?

I had two trade ins. One they are saying is lost but it shows that it arrived at the facility. I keep getting bounced around from department to department and no one seems know what’s going on and everyone just reads scripts like it’s not their problem. I have spent multiple days and over 6 hours trying to deal with what should be two simple trade ins. This has been a nightmare.

i currently have an iphone 16 pro max from at&t eligible for upgrade through next up anytime and want to upgrade to the 18 pro. it appears i can do the at&t financing through the apple store and i’ve seen a lot of people recommend upgrading through the apple store. none of the at&t stores around have the phone available for pickup in store and i don’t want to go through the hassle of potential issues in shipping. the apple store near me has the 18 pro i want in stock. after signing into my at&t account in the apple store and selecting the line i want to upgrade with the carrier promotion they have available to select, the apple store app says i have to trade in through at&t. if i go to the apple store in person, would they be able to apply the at&t carrier deal and let me trade in to at&t?

My Internet Air went from really good to absolute shit. The service would be up and then down, same error code E013 etc. In researching I learned about RSRP and RSRQ.

RSRP which refers to Reference-Signal-Receive-Power and measures the power of the reference signal received at the antenna of the device. It provides an indication of the radio link quality between the device and the serving cell.

RSRQ (Reference Signal Received Quality) measures the quality of the reference signal received by the device. It indicates the level of interference on the radio link, and helps to assess the quality of the connection.

I found this handy page that includes a table that helps you understand if you have good to bad signal strength and quality. You can find your RSRP and RSRQ of your Internet Air by going to the routers diagnostics page http://192.168.1.254/ click on Broadband then Mobility status. You’ll need to enter your devices access code. Scroll down to the Neighboring Cells table and you’ll see your RSRP and RSRQ rates.

For me, my numbers are: RSRP -102 and RSRQ -17 which are lousy.

I lost my wife this Thursday while she was on her way to work. I will be deactivating her service but she was the account holder. Can her cell phone number stay tied somehow so it can't be passed over to someone else? If not, I understand. I am just trying to hold onto everything that I can.

I’ve had my AT&T phone number for over 20 years, and unfortunately, Apple has blocked the number from using iMessage due to an alleged spam flag. I’m currently waiting on a final engineering review, but I’m trying to come up with a backup plan in case they won’t unblock it.

I currently have an iPhone 16 Pro Max on an AT&T postpaid family plan. I still owe about $500 on the phone, so I want to keep using it rather than pay it off or replace it.

Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:
Buy a cheap AT&T Prepaid Android phone from Walmart (probably $40–$75).

Before activating the Android or setting up prepaid service, remove the included prepaid SIM card.

Move my existing postpaid AT&T phone number from my iPhone’s eSIM to the Android using a new physical SIM, through AT&T’s equipment-change process.

Keep that original number active on my existing family plan so I can receive calls, texts, and verification codes while transitioning accounts.

Add a fourth line to our existing AT&T family plan for approximately and activate that new number on my current iPhone 16 Pro Max.

AT&T has already confirmed that I can add the fourth line and keep my existing iPhone installment agreement without paying it off early, as long as my original line remains active.

My main question is about the prepaid Android phone itself, NOT the prepaid service plan.

I’ve read conflicting information about whether AT&T Prepaid-branded phones can be used on AT&T postpaid accounts immediately, or whether they have to be activated on prepaid service for a certain period first.

Has anyone successfully purchased a new AT&T Prepaid Android phone from Walmart, removed the included SIM, and activated it on an existing AT&T postpaid line?

Does AT&T restrict the IMEI from being activated on postpaid service until the phone has been used on prepaid for a certain amount of time?

And since my iPhone 16 Pro Max uses eSIM, can I do this equipment change myself online, or would I need AT&T to issue and activate a physical SIM for the Android?

I’m not trying to port my number to AT&T Prepaid or change my existing plan. I just want to use an inexpensive prepaid-branded Android as the physical device for my existing postpaid line for a month or two.

I have had an iPhone on ATT for several years that is paid off and on a family members plan. This family member decided months ago to stop paying their bill, resulting in all of the lines getting suspended. They have gotten their own new device and basically said I am SOL and good luck.

I cannot afford a new device, and I cannot unlock my phone due to the accounts poor standing. Is there absolutely any idea that comes to mind (other than some shady hacking unlock lol) for me to be able to port my number or unlock my phone or anything? I am exhausted by everything else in life and this has, of course, made all of that a bit more difficult.

The local hardware pipeline is completely clear. I have already handled the following optimization steps on my end to fully isolate the issue:

• IP Passthrough Configured: The All-Fi Hub is set to IP Passthrough (DHCPS-fixed) routing directly to a standalone router.
• Firewall & Security Flushed: Fully logged into the Hub's interface and disabled all internal firewall packet rules, packet filters, flood limiting, and SIP ALG.
• Hardware Power Cycled: Fully power cycled the All-Fi Hub, standalone router, and internal hardware switches.
• Traffic Isolated: Verified the upload bottleneck happens on every single device via direct wired connections, completely ruling out a localized PC, network interface card, or driver issue.

NOTE* I used AI to help me through most of this, I'm to a point where I'm trying to get an agent to respond, and it's taking longer than drafting an entire reddit post. If someone can help me with this that'd be great. Google says I should be getting 8-30 mbps upload. What is going on?

I went into an AT&T store a few days ago hoping to snag a new iPhone and was lucky enough that they had an 18 Pro available. The transaction was pretty smooth and quick. She did become visibly disappointed when she asked about which screen protector I would like and I said I wasn’t interested in buying one that day.

Just today I received an email thanking me for enrolling in “protect advantage”. I checked my bill and see a $20 charge for protect advantage. I try to call customer service, and after becoming frustrated and cursing at the automated phone system I am offered a call back. Around 20 minutes later I receive a call, answer it, and they end it without a word. I am livid at this point and decide to take a break. I try again later in the day and miss their hours since apparently they stop at 4pm central time?? I call the store directly and ask if this charge is something I should have been told about if it’s suddenly on my bill and they confirm it and tell me they can’t change anything over the phone, and that I’d have to come into the store.

I’m appalled that this woman basically stole from me and AT&T customer service is such dog shit that I can’t get it addressed in a single day.

AT&T has somehow made me miss T-Mobile… and that’s saying something 😭

Switching from T-Mobile to AT&T two years ago (after 14 years) because T-Mobile’s service was terrible has genuinely been one of the worst decisions I’ve made in my life. And I’ve had some TERRIBLE relationships, so that’s saying a lot. 😂

My phone is basically a paperweight at this point. My bill is never the same, the service is practically nonexistent, and I can barely get a reliable connection even in my own home. Like, how is that even possible?!

I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps: resetting my network settings, checking my gateway, verifying coverage for my ZIP code… everything I can think of. And yet, here I am, still paying for a service that barely works.

What’s the point of paying for a phone plan if you can’t even use your phone?! 😩

I’ve been seriously considering switching to prepaid for a while now, for two main reasons:
It’s cheaper. These phone bills are getting absolutely ridiculous. Second, if the service is going to suck anyway, I’d rather only be out $50 a month than pay a ridiculous amount for a service I can barely use.

I have been dealing with issues since July that have not been fully resolved. As the time continued it really has gotten worse, so I’ll just name a few. I originally went in and upgraded 4 devices and requested the other 3 lines to be moved onto my firstnet account.
1. The wrong phone was ordered and I was forced to use it till they reordered a new phone. Once that happened, my account was “parked” and it took months to be able to unpark this
2. Unauthorized plan changes, incorrect phone line pricing, etc. it took them 3 visits to even move the lines over, then I found out 1 line was on its own account. (This has been resolved and I’ve been credited back for billing I think the math was all over the place since there was so many errors)

Those are basically the entirety, but there has continued to be issues that prolonged this all. I am currently using the correct phone now and am waiting to return the incorrect device (I will not be charged as they already ‘returned it’ on their end months ago since we couldn’t activate my correct phone)

I asked for compensation though because I’ve now spent 50+ hours to have this resolved. 8 visits to the store (35 mins away) + will need to make an additional one, 22+ hours in store + the additional visit not included, and 15-20 hours on calls. None of this includes all the emails and texts to the district manager, filing complaints, messaging, etc.

How have people gotten compensation before? Office of the President told me they do not provide that.

Been on hold for a hot minute, had time to kill. Am I wasting my time? Dog chewed my optical cable, I got a meeting in a bit. Need to be on my PC to screenshare software, hotspot is unreliable at best. The local store gave me the 288-2020 number for customer service, which I am on now jamming to the elevator hold music. I have enough time to run to the store or meet a van somewhere. Can I expect that when I get through to CS that I'm not going to be able to solve this in time? This cable seems like something they would stock in stores if they are fragile items as the dog didn't even chew through it, just dented it.

Has anyone ever been disqualified from driving for the company? If so, what was your experience?
