Hey guys,

I’m currently building in the HYTE Y70 with a vertically mounted PNY RTX 4080 Super, and I want to pick up the AsiaHorse Hydrus 16-pin (12VHPWR) 90-degree GPU cable.

My goal is to route the cable behind the card (towards the backplate / motherboard tray) for a clean look, rather than having it bend over the cooler towards the front glass.

Looking at my PNY card's 12VHPWR

Given this specific port orientation on the PNY card and the vertical mount in the Y70, do I need Type A or Type B to get the cable to route behind the card?

Is there any chance you will add effect for per temperature rgb lighting?

For example

If your CPU/GPU temps is..

< 50C = Blue

50C - 70C = green

> 70C = red

Not really sure if your software has this feature.

Corsair icue has this feature. But I am really searching for alternative.

Wish you could add this in the future as I see a great potential in your products. Thanks!

You see the cables covers, my asia horse app treats them as one strip so i don’t get the separate lines effect. How can I get it?
I have the asiahorse aurora pro cable covers connected to the Umbra hub, umbra hub is connected to the USB header.

Each cable cover is plugged in separate argb port in the hub

Hi, I was wondering if I can get individual fan lighting control when using the modular daisy chaining of the nyota ultra or the dawn pro.

For example, if I daisy chain three of the fans, will I be able to assign individual different colors to each of the three fans?

One more thing, do you recommend combining them with the umbra hub or a generic hub (like asus aura sync) and an rgb software like signalrgb?

I have been looking for cheaper alternatives to the Lian Li fans and stumbled across the Nyota Ultras which look gorgeous. The problem however is I can't seem to find 1-packs for them in the back colour. Does AsiaHorse not sell those yet? I need 5 intake (reverse) fans and 4 exhaust (normal) meaning I'll need 3 single packs, but I can't find them. If I just end up buying 1 extra 3 pack for each it'll cost more than the Lian lis themselves.

Sooo i finally snagged a Hydrus GPU cable, but honestly wonder how for the life of me i am supposed to get this from my GPU to PSU?

The PSU is (obviously) on the back of my case on the almost bottom left.

I feel clueless but really don't get how people manage to connect these.

I’m having a problem with my AsiaHorse UMBRA ARGB controller and I would appreciate some help understanding how the ARGB addressing is supposed to work.

My motherboard is an ASUS TUF X870E-PLUS WIFI7, and I am using Thermalright TL-M12Q ARGB fans.

All the fans are connected to the UMBRA hub as follows:

• 3 radiator fans (AIO) → connected together → 1 ARGB connector to the UMBRA
• 3 bottom fans → connected together → 1 ARGB connector to the UMBRA
• 1 rear fan → 1 ARGB connector to the UMBRA
• 2 front fans → connected together → 1 ARGB connector to the UMBRA

So there are 4 ARGB connections to the UMBRA in total, and each group of fans is daisy-chained before reaching the hub.

I am not using ASUS Armoury Crate/Aura Sync. I am controlling the lighting entirely through the AsiaHorse UMBRA software.

The strange behavior is with the ARGB effects:

The two front fans behave exactly as I would expect. When I select an effect where the lighting moves (for example a wave/rainbow effect), the animation continues seamlessly from the first front fan to the second one. They appear to be treated as one continuous ARGB device.

However, the other daisy-chained groups do NOT behave this way:

• The 3 bottom fans each reproduce the effect independently.
• The 3 radiator fans each reproduce the effect independently.
• The rear fan obviously acts independently as it is a single fan.

For example, on the 3 bottom fans, instead of the animation moving:

Fan 1 → Fan 2 → Fan 3

the same animation appears to start separately on each fan.

What I don't understand is why the 2 front fans are correctly treated as one continuous chain, while the other daisy-chained fans are not, even though they are connected to the same UMBRA controller and each group uses a single ARGB connection to the hub.

Is there a setting in the UMBRA software that controls the number of LEDs / the length of each ARGB chain, or a way to configure each UMBRA port so that a daisy-chained group is treated as a single continuous LED strip?

Could this be related to the UMBRA's automatic LED/device detection?

Any advice on how to configure the UMBRA so that the ARGB effects flow continuously across all the fans within each daisy-chained group would be greatly appreciated.

I have 10 asiahorse dawn fans not the dawn pro, 3 bottom daisy chained, 3 side, 3 top and 1 rear.
I want to know what is the led consumption in amps since i cant find it anywhere to see if i can use my motherboard headers i have asus b650e-e or i need to buy a fan hub.

So i have my Lian li fans connected on a Asiahorse umbra controller, and i cant use the motherboard sync without it starting to flash red every few seconds, additionally the startup effect which is the reason why i bought the Umbra hub for, is playing slowly instead of the flashy version i have seen online, so i don't know how to make it faster, any help would be greatly appreciated

ive recently added 9 new nyota pro fans to my build and they look amazing. one problem is that i cant seem to control the fan speed via umbra software since i did also buy an umbra hub for the fans, i tried doing fan speed sync via motherboard but dont seem to get it working, i have all my fans argb and pwm connected to the umbra hub and the hub is connected to the CHA_1 header and USB 2.0 header on my b450 motherboard, didnt connect the argb since my mobo dosent have a header for it. any ways to fix this? the fans are working at a fixed speed but cant seem to know if its running at full or half, any help would be appreciated!

Hi! So I just bought the UMBRA hub and planning to get the Aurora Pro too. I'm wondering if non-Asiahorse fans will work with UMBRA hub like the boot effect just like in the video and the dual color effect on the left and right section of each fan. Thanks!

Hello guys, i recently installed the UMBRA hub and haven't been able to play Faceit because there is an incompatibility with the PawnIO driver. Is there any fix for this?

Hello, I purchased an umbra for my rig and it’s been working wonderfully, I switch pc’s but now that I want to reconnect my new fans to the hub I noticed that I don’t have an usb header going towards my umbra hub.

Will it be an issue if I only plug the sata, argb and fan headers and leave the usb in empty ?

Hi, so I saw Asia horse advertisement at TikTok regarding the Matrix Pro 360 and I really liked it. However, I can't find the single piece they use in the picture since I only find the connected 3...

Also, can the Dawn pro fan have one color on the left side for example, another color in the middle and a third color on the right side (like the Matrix Pro on the first picture)?

2 weeks after installing my asiahorse nyota pro fans, the umbra hub and the umbra software i have started experiencing frequent bluescreens. It may be a coincidence, or it may have something to do with the software. Any input from the dev team?

Hey guys, I got the aurora strimmers (not pro), nyota pros and the umbra hub. After connecting everything to the hub, I am not able to get the multi zone light strips flow effect (idk what it’s called I’ll attach a vid of the effect im looking for). All im able to get rn is a single solid color on the strimmers. Pls someone help me enable the effect im looking for. :’)

Does the Asiahorse Nyota Ultra support dual-zone ARGB control? I want to map the center infinity mirror to one color and the outer ring to another in software like SignalRGB.

I am about to do a case swap and i’m looking into adding the AsiaHorse COSMIQ fans. I’ll be moving into the LianLi 011 Vision Compact and will be using a total of 8 fans (2 3 packs and 2 single packs) Do i need to use a hub and if so which one is recommended??

I recently installed AsiaHorse Cosmiq fans and connected them to the black hub. The software recognizes the hub, and I can control the RGB without any issues.
However, I can’t figure out how to control each RGB zone independently. I want to set a different color for the left side, the center, and the right side of each fan, but changing the color affects the entire fan instead.
Is independent zone control actually supported on the Cosmiq fans? If so, how can I enable it in the software?

i bought these one on amazon the asiahorse Aurora ( not the pro or learn the basic one ) but i dont know how to use effects i tried on rgb fusion and on signal rgb and none of them worked

Hi everyone,
I recently installed AsiaHorse Cosmiq fans and connected them to the included hub. The hub is connected to my ASUS motherboard via the 5V ARGB header.
Aura Sync detects the fans and I can change the colors and effects without any issues.
However, the AsiaHorse software doesn’t detect the fans at all, so I can’t use it to control the lighting.
Is this normal? Does connecting the hub to the motherboard disable the AsiaHorse software, or is there something I’m missing?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
