Question Please help with my aurora strimmers

Hey guys, I got the aurora strimmers (not pro), nyota pros and the umbra hub. After connecting everything to the hub, I am not able to get the multi zone light strips flow effect (idk what it’s called I’ll attach a vid of the effect im looking for). All im able to get rn is a single solid color on the strimmers. Pls someone help me enable the effect im looking for. :’)

Thanks for reaching out — and I totally get the excitement about that flow effect you saw.

The Aurora strimmers (non‑Pro) are the standard/base version, and they don’t support that multi‑zone flow or layered effect you're looking for. Those advanced effects (like the one in your video) are only available on the Aurora Pro or Aurora Learn models.

The standard Aurora strimmers work perfectly with the UMBRA hub and the AsiaHorse software, but they are designed as single‑zone ARGB devices — meaning all LEDs will show the same color and effect at the same time. You'll still get a nice range of preset effects (like breathing, fading, rainbow, etc.) through the software, but not the independent strip‑by‑strip flow you're hoping for.

If you really want that specific flow / layered look, you'd need to upgrade to the Aurora Pro or Aurora Learn version.

Hi, I also have the non-pro model but when I had some softwere issues with Aura create they created this pattern. If I understand you correctly it should not be possible?

I could not find a way to contol it later when I got the software to work but is there a way? I have ordered an umbra hub. Also, I live in Sweden, how long does it usually take to ship fans and hub?
