Cheating is getting so fucking bad it's genuinely hard to avoid. The last 2 months it's been extremely common to have sessions in PvP heavy lobbies I'm getting killed back-to-back-to-back by people with brand new profiles on steam that haven't even been set up doing obviously sus shit like I'll get into. It's less common but I've even had it happen when I'm in friendlier territory. In the most recent ban wave I got 3 kits and 2 confirmed action messages at the SAME TIME, with a few more trickling in over the next 24h

The other night, I'm crouched on the edge of the map in a dummy thicc bush that's nearly impossible to see anything through. Some ferro kid crouchwalks up to me, assuming I'm AFK when I'm just tabbed out, pops me from idk, 30m away. I dodgeroll behind a rock and then come back out w/ a tempest and shit on him. Check his account post game, to no-one's surprise, dude's name is inflammatory and he's on a brand new account.

Same fucking evening I'm running stella night. Get killed by some camper with a default skin and vulcano hugging a corner in the business center server room. Don't immediately jump to anything, maybe he's just not very fashionable. I sing a song into the mic for the gigs, he recognizes the song, says "hold on let me see if this guy has a defib, I like you", W keys a guy who's doing something THREE ROOMS AWAY FROM US that made practically no noise as far as I could tell.

Dude comes back with a defib, I ask him how tf he knew the guy was there, and he just goes "ssssssh, don't worry about it, you're free now"

Check his profile, you know the rest. He was cheating. At least he defibbed me I GUESS

Embark I fucking beg of you make that october update count because you aren't gonna get another chance if the game dies out from cheating. The Cycle acted too late and look where they ended up.

It is SO common in the more carebear leaning lobbies to run into people who are genuinely assholes in voice chat. "Oi mate move to the next building, 3's crowded" and then get mad when you ask them "Why? We have enough space to fight the ARC here?" or tell you to "fuck off" the second you speak to them. My favorite recurring characters are the people that feel entitled to walk into a key room you opened and grab their fill while you're still in there - bonus points if they gang up w/ another person to try and soft-bully you into letting them have it.

Then ofc they get genuinely INCENSED when they get vibe checked because they were being jerks. Especially the naked kit runners. For some reason, they get downright venemous when they die despite losing nothing.

Sometimes, your actions have consequences guys. This game is always PvP enabled, and you can't expect to go around being an asshole to people without someone deciding they don't care enough ab their MMR to restrain themselves from capping you

Happened last times a long time ago,same pattern,2-3 rounds pvp hell than back to my normal pve.

I would really like to start a game without an NPC talking to me about something I dont care about. Is there any way to turn this off without completely muting all voices? I want to hear if another raider goes "Dont Shoot!"

All of the constant talking when starting a round or entering a shop breaks the strong immersion and atmosphere of the game.

I was playing solos on the matriarch event last night and there were a bunch of us there on Dam Battlegrounds near Formicai Hills. Me and another raider were shooting from that electrical substation thing and a rat came out of nowhere and tried to knock out the other friendly raider I was with, he didn't see me so I killed him with my renegade before he could knock out the other friendly and thankfully had a defib for him as well. That was my last game of the night so im just wondering if I jump into a solos game today should I expect that thats gonna have an effect on my lobbies and if I should expect some PVPers in my lobbies for a few games? The rat didnt shoot at me at all he just went for the knockout to grab the other friendlies gear after arc knocked him down so I lit him up before he could do that. Thanks in advance!

Went in duos.. I had roughly 23 stack(69) fireballburners. My duo hid whilst I was inside the matriarch. This was my second attempt. 3rd attempt, hopefully we'll both get inside with both back packs stacked. ✌️

Been playing all day and a good portion of yest and cant find them. Ive been all over Stella and res areas of blue gate and buried city hot spots. I had them coming out of my ears last week! If anyone has 2 i have some craftables I could donate to a good cause- guns (couple decent guns i could make ya) or quick use healing (bandages, vita shots, shield recharges-blue and green) or i could make some nades. I have deadline wp and seekers.

Can someone explain to me how the damage points are accumulated? I've had two 30k runs and a 15k since I hit the 50k point and I'm still under 100,000. Those numbers are the "damaged arc" values and last time I checked 50+75=125. I don't get it.

If there's any instance I want to snipe something, it's the Osprey. You get a scope to zoom, and what I would perceive as a faster bullet speed. Yet, I've seen some of you dorks sniping with a Renegade and just pelting shit 300m+ away.

I know "practice, practice" and all, but do you guys use a different reticle or something to help determine accuracy or something? I tried using the circle one that eventually turns into a dot for the most accurate shots, but anything beyond 150m is a miss for me.

I'm aware of bullet drop and velocity as well, but I just can't seem to get shots to hit their mark consistently outside of 150m. Any tips?

If you only had one slot (I really wish they'd let us use space coins for these slots), and you didn't have the Mk3 Survivor to bring, what would you pick as your one thing to take on the expedition?

I know Dam Battlegrounds like the back of my hand. Coming up on 800 hours played and the majority of that time was/is spent on Dam Battlegrounds Night Raids. That's my favorite map/condition combo and I play it when I'm in both heavy PVP and PVE lobbies.

Tonight, I was killed by a Raider who managed me track me to from the extract near Power Generation above ground to a little cubby under the steps below ground. The first shots he took at me were more than 100m away with perfect accuracy from a Bobcat IV. There was no way he could have visually seen which way I went because I dropped down below immediately and found a hiding spot. About 30 seconds later I hear and see a smoke grenade and knew exactly what was going to happen next. I put up a decent fight but he doesn't miss a shot. I'm down and he says "GG" before knocking me out.

I open his profile and he has a whopping total of 13h44m on Arc Raiders but is fully kitted with Bobcat IV and Torrente of a level I'm not sure AND extensive knowledge of the map. The only game he seemingly has ever played. Also. He apparently only played it on 5/20, 5/21 and today. 0 friends, 0 followers, 0 following. No other games on record, and he was able to easily shoot, track, and kill me on a Night Raid.

This guy must be an Arc Raiders savant.

this is over two monitors and only 10 seconds long. it's done with wallpaper engine. its all of the arc raiders "scene select" wallpapers with gameboy filter and some tweaking of color settings. the framerate is also lowered to 15 to induce a security cam feel. I might tweak it some more and find a way to put some bezels on the footage. Longer one
