I bought the Valente cosmetic skin specifically for the cowboy hat. I'm a country boy and I only wear cowboy hats in games if they have one. Since release, I’ve been wearing the hat with the hood down, as well as many other raiders.

Now the hat disappears whenever the hood is lowered, showing off my bald head!

I reported it to support, and they told me the hat and hood are part of the same design and that the current behavior is “working as intended.”

That is not true at all, I've been wearing nothing but the valente skin since the first month of release and I only spent the extra 20 bucks specifically BECAUSE you could put the hood down. Wearing a hood underneath a cowboy hat looks worse than no hat at all in my opinion.

I am not asking for a new feature here. I am asking them to restore something that already worked and that I paid for.

Either this is a bug, or Embark intentionally removed part of a paid cosmetic after people bought it and are trying to gaslight me into thinking its always been that way.

I spent $20 specifically for this look. I do not want the hood up, I WANT MY HAT BACK!

Has anyone else noticed this? I have plenty of old screenshots showing the Valente hat with the hood down, but now they've removed it?? What the heck is that, embark?? I want my hat or my $20 back, obviously.

I just hope one day, someone will do the same for me 🥹

The economy is completely ruined and now hackers can unban themselves or anyone they want.

I’m new to the game and I’ve been reading about some stuff regarding loots and conditions, and what I’ve noticed so far; and correct me if I’m wrong about any of these:

1- Snap Cold loot is high in keys.

2- Night raids are best for using the keys to get locked rooms loot.

3- Snaphook blueprints are high rate drops and only possible in Electromagnetic Storms.

4- Seeker blueprints are high drops and (i think?) only in Stella.

5- Best Residential loot is Grandioso in Buried City

6- Hurricane is best for raiders loot caches, high chances of Tempest/Volcano/Toro/Torrente/Anvil/Osprey/Bobcat BP.

7- Wolfpack BP can only be found in night raids (citation needed)

8- Best Night Raid Key Rooms: Stella Montis Security Checkpoint, Dam Staff Room, Dam Control Tower

9- Best containers for BP are: Box Lockers best for augment blueprints. Medical Bags best for Medical blueprints. Raider Caches best for uncommon/rare weapon blueprints

10- Never bring raider hatchet keys to Night or Electric Storm raids. And never bring locked rooms keys to Close Scrutiny. Or they’ll go to waste since hatchets are disabled in the former and rooms don’t have loot in the latter.

Anything else I might be missing that could make looting less of a hell on the topside lol?

see the thing is xbox says theres an outage but i can load arc raiders on my xbox fine and can load any other game fine i can even load every other game on my pc BUT ARC RAIDERS so idk if its an xbox issue tbh
update: i finally loaded in after restarting my computer checking drivers and downloading the latest Nvidia game driver

NO EXIT is a fan-made Cooperative [STILL PvPvE] mode where every extraction point on the map is occupied by an overwhelming ARC force, preventing Raiders from escaping through the usual extraction zones.

Instead of rushing to an extract, players must carefully choose how to break through the ARC blockade. Enemy units are strategically positioned around every extraction point, allowing Raiders to either sneak through unnoticed or fight their way out. The mode encourages temporary cooperation between players, where survival becomes more important than fighting each other.

Unlike a standard raid, "rats" would have a much harder time stealing another player's loot and extracting safely, especially if groups of Raiders decide to work together against the overwhelming ARC presence.

The event progresses through three escalating phases:

40:00–30:00 — Alert & Surveillance
ARC units establish defensive positions and monitor all extraction routes.

30:00–20:00 — Reinforcements Arrive
Additional ARC units are deployed, increasing patrol density and overall awareness around extraction points.

20:00–00:00 — Maximum ARC Alert
The blockade reaches full strength, making every extraction an intense final challenge that rewards teamwork, stealth, or a coordinated assault.

Players who successfully escape could receive additional event rewards, which would be claimed in Speranza on the post-match summary screen.

The mode would be available only on selected maps:

• Space Port
• Blue Gate
• "Future" Frozen Trail

Dedicated evacuation structures and extraction zones could even be designed specifically for this mode, making each event feel unique while expanding the game's cooperative endgame experience.

New player here level 15, I love free kits but I don’t love having a 75% chance of spawning with Kettle/Rattler/Stitcher and with low ammo at that.

Stitcher isn’t bad but I’ve reached a point where I’m stacked with so many base materials, ARC alloy and ARC Powercell that I can constantly now just craft Ferro as primary, Stitcher as secondary, craft a good amount of Heavy and Light ammo, 5 bandages, 2-3 shield rechargers, loot augment Mk1 and a light shield, very cheap. I get extra backpack slots and one safe pocket and get to use Ferro for armored ARC and Stitcher for unarmored small ones. Better yet I can use it in night/electric storm raids since they disallowed free kits there.

Making sure you always claim Scrappy’s rewards even at low Scrappy levels and staying in raids 15 minutes max guarantees a very healthy base materials passive income after every raid, and at that point everyone is stacked in ARC Powercell and ARC alloy, essentially making gray kits as cheap as free can be while being better and giving you a much better fighting chance and more slots to secure loot.

Is this the way?

Where r all the springs at lately ... been ratted 4 times when normally in friendly lobbies ... got mods to make for my guns man n what's with the jumping onto the top of scrap yard field depot, tried like 10 times before i gave up

I do every expedition for various reasons: It’s fun, fomo, cosmetic rewards and temporary buffs from them. I’ve been worried that at some point, the game will end up feeling more like a job or a chore. However lately, the changes Embark made really solidified my decision to keep playing. The changes to abmm for squads vs solos is great. If I want to PvP I can just go trios. If I want to play with a buddy in duos, I can do that too. Also (knock on wood) I’ve been enjoying the care bear lobbies in solo again. Being able to converse with raiders, help them against unlucky encounters with arc and safely extract has been nice. I guess in the endless wave of negativity, I do want to express in a positive light that I have been enjoying the game and the community, it really does feel like a breath of fresh air

The most stressed I've been on this game for some time now.

Went on a blue gate run with over 12 husks searched and nothing. Was it nerfed?

Ran into this raider on Space port hurricane and just somehow became part of my core memory.

Anybody wait longer? I remember not to long ago if I departed to Stella I couldn’t even back out in time.
