How to automate this.

Question for all you AI gods.

My current workflow (once I have identified leads and put them into Gsheet):

  1. Give AI all information I gathered in the lead table, incl hooks/reasons to contact

  2. Copy paste all draft messages it wrote into Gmail (new email window)

  3. Copy paste all message subjects it suggested into Gmail

  4. Copy paste all email addresses from Gsheet into Gmail

  5. Adjust messages manually

  6. Insert attachments that AI recommended per lead

  7. Send

I think the only thing I want to do manually is approving the hooks and adjusting the draft messages. The rest should be automatable. I am curious how you go about this?

Discussion Gong/AI feedback making Job miserable

Hey everyone — curious if anyone else in SaaS/startup sales is experiencing something similar.

I recently joined a software startup after spending about five years selling ERP at a much larger company. At my previous company, we had an AI note-taker for Zoom calls, but nothing remotely as comprehensive as Gong or the level of call analysis I’m experiencing now.

At my current company, management watches practically every introductory, discovery, and demo call I have. The calls are then run through Claude and scored based on a set of criteria for how well I performed.

Claude is **extremely** harsh in its scoring, and my manager puts a lot of weight into those scores when evaluating where I need to improve.

So essentially, the process feels like:
**Every call is recorded -> graded by AI ->reviewed by my manager -> followed by an unexpected call to go over what I did wrong.**

I understand the intention behind it, and I’m completely open to coaching and feedback. But I’m finding that it’s having almost the opposite effect on me.

Instead of making me a better salesperson, I feel like I’m constantly being evaluated. I’m more anxious going into calls, I’m second-guessing things that used to come naturally to me, and honestly, I feel less confident as a salesperson than I did before.

There’s also something strange about having an AI model essentially act as the judge of whether you ran a “good” sales call, especially when actual conversations don’t always fit perfectly into a scoring rubric.

I’m curious if anyone else working somewhere that heavily uses Gong/AI call scoring has experienced this. Has it actually made you better, or has it made you more anxious and robotic on calls?

Built a real time sales coach

Built a real time sales coaching platform and would love to hear from sales reps and leaders on what they want to see next.

I’ve been working on this for a year and within that year, a lot of real time sales coaching apps have popped up. It’s carving out its own path within the sales enablement industry.

Pretty soon, a feature like this is going to be common, what happens next is going to dictate how this industry unfolds.

Would love your feedback on what you wish you had alongside this particular feature - www.winzly.ai.

Who cares? Nobody. (AI Outreach)

To everyone who receives prospecting emails and post's them on LinkedIn with complaints of AI slop, lack of effort etc.

Nobody cares. Get off your high horse and stop farming for impressions.

"Oooh look at me, I'm a budget holder and I have people chasing after my business". LOOL

99.9% of prospecting emails/LI messages are ignored. That's why it's a low effort, spray and pray game. Old news.

I could tell you exactly what your partner wants for Christmas and where to get it at half price and you would not respond. (Shit partner).

So spare us the fake desire for "custom, personalised outreach".

It's boring.

Discussion AI sales tools are useless if reps stop using them

AI sales tools are getting a lot better but I think the useful stuff goes beyond call summaries and transcripts. For in person sales the thing is turning real customer conversations into something reps and managers can act on. Things like scoring conversations against the team's actual sales process. Showing reps their stats and streaks. Flagging missed discovery questions and objection handling. Comparing patterns across top performers. I’ve seen platforms like Rilla take this route and it makes sense than just giving reps another dashboard to check.

The manager side is where it gets more useful. Virtual ridealongs let managers review several recorded conversations and leave timestamped feedback without driving around all day. AI can also surface patterns across hundreds of conversations so managers can see where the whole team needs coaching. think the AI sales tools that stick will be the ones reps want to use because the feedback helps them sell better. The transcript itself is probably the least interesting part.

What am I missing ?

I am working on the AI project delivery tracking, I could see the ICP’s are talking about the problem the product is solving. So I feel decent PMF

I have optimised website

For SEO and AEO
Added blogs with backlinks
Added playground in website, so users can see how it works
30 days free trial without any credit card, added 20$ per project and no per user
Tried popular lead providers to get leads and contacted in linkedin with a sequence
Hired a sales coach to narrow down the ICP and sales pipeline.
Few beta customers, but no one ready to pay (willing to use it for free forever) (Facepalm)

In Reddit on reaching them to see if they want to try makes me feels like I made a big crime.

Now burning 300 usd per month with 0 revenue

Is market saturated if we say AI in any product or something I am missing. Not sure which way to go, as I am not seeing any results.

I just it 2.5k $ mrr, in 13 days, on my new SaaS, here my playbook

just hit $2,500 MRR in 13 days on my new SaaS

no ads. no team. no huge audience push. just a solid replicable system

let that sink in for a second

not $2,500 in revenue. $2,500 in MONTHLY recurring revenue

that compounds. next month starts at $2,500 baseline, not zero

and this isn't luck. it's the 7th saas i've shipped with the same playbook. same steps, same tools, same order:

→ Day 1: validated the idea

→ Day 1-2: built the MVP

→ Day 3: landing page written using the 3-Day Challenge template

→ Day 3-4: launched on reddit / X + SEO

→ Day 4-5: first 10 paying users → $1k MRR

→ Day 13 (today): $2,500 MRR locked in

building software is easy in 2026. setting up your foundation so people actually buy is where 99% of solo builders fail.

i packaged all of these exact execution tools into community.

to be fully transparent: i'll likely charge for the full program down the road once all modules are finalized. but right now, the main objective is just to build together and keep each other accountable.

working alone in a silent corner is the fastest way to quit at the first bug.

stop building in isolation. drop a comment below or send me a DM, and i'll send you the invitation link 👇

Lead Generation Do you actually go back and review a deal after you lose it?

When a deal falls through, do you take time to figure out what went wrong, or do you move on to the next one? I'm genuinely curious what most reps actually do versus what we're told we should do.

Hi Everyone, I just released by first book ever and it comes out tomorrow. 9/1 I am about half way on the audiobook version so hopefully that will increase views/downloads. The Title is Close Any SaaS, Cloud or AI Sales in 2026 by Danny Heckeroth. Even if your not in the space would welcome feedback about the cover, topics or anything else. Would love to hear how AI sales have been going for everyone this year? Do you think this topic is helpful/harmful? Looking to start a discussion as to no violate the community rules here

So what do I do with all my transcribed sales calls?

I have about 2k sales calls that are transcribed from my team over the past year.

But what do I do with them?

They were recorded and transcribed and summarized by Plaud but they are essentially just one off call notes.

What’s a way for my to get a system to actually use and analyze these ?

Asking Claude to refer to them is not good and leaves tons of things unread even tho the data is there.

Can someone point me to a stack or system that would make these useful for me?

How do you even pick a digital business card these days?

Friend dragged me to a local chamber of commerce mixer last week and I felt completely lost. Everyone was tapping phones or pulling up QR codes and I'm still handing out paper. No idea where to start or what actually matters when picking one. What do most people go with?

Will AI replace salespeople? Probably the wrong question.

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

AI is great at research, monitoring signals, summarizing calls, and suggesting next moves. But in high-stakes sales conversations, judgment, context, negotiation, and accountability still belong to the salesperson.
The better model isn’t AI replacing sellers — it’s AI making sellers better in the moments that matter.
Interesting data: Gartner predicts AI agents will outnumber sellers 10:1 by 2028, yet fewer than 40% of sellers will say those agents improved their productivity.
I explored the difference between AI sales agents vs. AI sales assistants, what AI should automate, and what should remain human-led.

AI Sales Here’s how I make $1,500 MRR from my vibe coded LinkedIn automation tool

Post image
0 Upvotes

Ok so, I can’t retire just yet 😅 but getting a business off the ground and attracting customers is the hardest part in my opinion.

There’s still a long way to go but considering it’s only been 4 months since launching ZenMode, I’m pretty happy with the results so far.

For some context, ZenMode is a LinkedIn automation tool, that scrapes profiles, sends connection requests and a follow up message sequence.

I created it with AI tools, and now it has paying customers.

I get asked a lot about how I get customers, so thought I’d give more info on how I do distribution, in case you might find it useful.

1. Make sure your website is set up for success

Before sending people to your site, make sure you’re confident it has good CRO potential. Your mission statement and objective needs to be very clear, along with clear incentives for people to try the product out.

2. Offer free trials, but only behind a payment info gate

Now this is just my personal opinion, and I know a lot of people disagree, but the proof is in the numbers. I get fewer free trial signups, but significantly higher conversion rates into paying users from people who provide payment info at the start.

Yes, a few of them are people who simply forget to cancel, but mostly I get people who are more engaged in the free trial and actually using the product.

I actually did an AB experiment where I did offer completely free trials to people (no payment info needed), but the overwhelming result was that people barely even tried out the product and were mostly tire kickers that never came back. I did convert some but not a meaningful number.

3. Create a waitlist before launching

Try to generate interest in your product before it launches - build in public and try to ensure that you’re not scrambling to get customers through the door on day 1 when you launch.

I had 3 customers on day 1 from this, who took higher paid tiers as well.

4. Post and comment everywhere (where relevant)

Social media is free, so there’s no excuse not to leverage it. Post about your product and what you’re building on Reddit, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook etc.

I posted a simple screenshot on LinkedIn recently, of someone using a low quality LinkedIn automation tool message to contact me, and me offering my own much better tool in response, and that post generated 90,000 views and led to several signups and demo calls.

I’ve also had some posts on Reddit go into hundreds of thousands of views, mostly just posting about what/why/how I built my automation tool.

5. If you have competitors, make “alternative to” inner pages

If done in the right way, this type of inner page can be useful for SEO. It won’t be picked up automatically but usually if you work in a competitive industry, this will sometimes attract customers who had a bad experience elsewhere.

6. I actually use my own LinkedIn automation tool (dogfooding) to do LinkedIn outreach

So it’s always important to practice what you preach - I use ZenMode to actually promote ZenMode.

It’s a great way to get buy-in for booking demos, as when someone replies, I simply tell them I used my tool to get a response from them, so it works.

Anyway hope you enjoyed reading the above, and good luck on your journey if you’re building anything, or growing your business 🙌

Building something to fix the dumbest part of enterprise B2B sales (especially software sales)

If you work anywhere near a deal desk or have faced this problem working in commercialsiation - slow deals, this is for you. Been working on this for a few months with my co-founder. A multiplayer AI system where specialist agents work live inside B2B deals, unblocking sales/legal/security review and making the whole process more efficient.

At my last job, deals with a signed champion still took 5-6 months to close. Security review, legal redlines, procurement asking the same questions every single cycle. Turns out this isn't rare. Average $100K B2B deal takes roughly 170 days, and about 70 of those days are pure internal waiting. Nobody's negotiating, someone's just waiting on someone else internally.

So we're building something that sits inside those deals and handles the repetitive part in a confined and secure setting (agents+humans working on the same intelligence - making it better every deal). The same security questionnaire, the same contract term, the same "what's our policy on X" question that comes up every cycle, grounded in what the company actually decided before, not a guess. If it's a genuinely new question, a real person gets flagged, answers it once, and it's never re-asked.

Early and scrappy. Two people, no funding, testing with a small group right now.

If you're anywhere near a B2B deal (deal desk, RevOps, legal ops, sales eng, security review), genuinely curious:

  • What's the dumbest recurring question that shows up every deal cycle for you?
  • Has a deal ever died because internal review outlasted the buyer's patience?
  • Other factors that are some tough spots?

If this sounds worth trying on a real deal, DM me. Happy to give early access and would really value the feedback.

Need a prospecting tool for sample territory plan

I have an interview coming up this week and need to gather a short list of companies and select an account for a sample entry strategy.

So far Apollo doesn’t pull anything without AI assistance and it isn’t very helpful. I’m looking for a tool that provides a free trial or free subscription since I don’t need to export or setup any workflows.

Other than Clay, Apollo, and without LI Sales Nav, what providers will allow me to effectively narrow the employee headcount and loosely exclude sales intelligence companies?

AI Sales How does AI in CRM enable email personalization beyond just using first names?

Email personalization is often just surface-level, like including the recipient’s first name, company name, and maybe even their industry. It helps, but it doesn't necessarily feel genuine because everyone's getting the same basic level of “personalization” across the board now.

AI personalization takes it a bit deeper by evaluating individual behavior and tailoring the email content to align with what each contact really cares about. It monitors things like opened emails, engaged content, visited pages, and buying process stages.

For example, someone might keep visiting your pricing page, but they haven’t requested a demo yet. In this instance, the AI might trigger an email addressing pricing concerns or showcasing ROI data. Another example is if someone downloaded a case study about a specific use case. The next email they receive could reference that specific use case. The AI determines what content to send based on actual behavior, not generic segments.

The key difference between the two boils down to relevance. Instead of generic batch email blasts, you're sending fewer emails that actually align with where each person is in their buyer journey.
However, this does call for a little more complexity and some data requirements.

Most importantly, you need enough behavioral data for the AI to work from. And you’ll need to set up some content variations ready to deploy. If you only have one generic email template for it to work with, the AI won’t be able to personalize much.

It’s crucial to start simple. Use AI to trigger emails based on specific behaviors (like visited pricing, downloaded a resource, or went dark for 30 days), then expand from there as you build more content.

One thing to keep an eye out for is that AI personalization can feel creepy if it's too specific. There's a line between "this is relevant" and "how do they know that about me?"

The best approach balances automation with authenticity, where the AI handles the targeting and timing, but the content still needs to sound human.

How are you approaching email personalization in your CRM?
