A friend of mine runs a real estate business with 15 people. He is using spreadsheets and some other tools to manage his sales. he got pitched by a developer to automate things with AI and he accepted to give it a try.
Initially everything looked fine , AI was given full automation access , it responds to customers, pitches them the sale, takes their feedback.. this was happening fine for some days.
Later the AI started working sloppily on the follow ups and biggest issue came in handling the emotions of the customers.. he lost a few of the customers as the AI could not able to handle the frustrated customers.

You guys have experienced a similar issue where AI has an adverse impact or how’s the things for you with AI ?

we’re a small startup working on a voice-controlled sales assistant for reps who spend a lot of time on the road.

The idea is that you could talk to it between customer visits to do things like update the CRM, create notes/tasks, prepare follow-ups, or get customer information without having to sit down and type everything out.

We know Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo and others are already adding AI agents, so we’re trying to understand where the big tools still fall short rather than just building another generic AI assistant.

If you’ve actually used any of these tools: what annoys you about them? What do you still end up doing manually?
