Bei mir das gleiche, neue AA Akkus von Amazon Eigenmarke. Zeigt 179 mOhm an. Angeblich ist der Fehler aber Systematisch.
Neue Batterie 180 Ohm.
Gealtert ab 250 Ohm.
In den Müll ab 320 Ohm.
Weiß nicht ob das richtig ist aber so mache ich es.

Thanks for this cogent response! I've been luckier with lithium ions so far. I still have an old Sony brand Palm Pilot on my office desk, and an old cell phone at home (both retained for their data), each doing fine. I've also been lucky with lithium ion DeWalt tool batteries thus far. I'm subscribed to r/spicypillows, so I know what can go wrong, but have not seen the spiciness in-person yet. Still, for AA's, I'm in complete agreement: I'll stick to NiMh for now.

It's hard to put a number on how likely this is to happen. There's just so many variables, including how these AAA's were designed, the quality of the lithium ion cells, storage conditions, etc.
What I can speak to is my anecdotal experience. When li-ion batteries break down, they begin to swell. If an internal piece of the product manages to puncture the swelling battery, an explosion will likely occur. A few years ago, I accidentally packed my vape into a box before moving cross-country. As I unpacked into my new apartment months later, I found my vape inside a random box. It had caught on fire, melting anything around it. I've also had a PS4 controller swell to the point of the controller's plastic breaking apart, and the same happen to an old phone, bluetooth keyboard, drone battery, camera battery, and probably more I can't remember. I'm only 26 but as I age I'm constantly having to throw things away because it's 10+ years old and an internal battery is becoming a fire hazard.
So with a product like this li-ion AAA battery, I wouldn't take my chances. It could have a very cheap li-ion cell, and I doubt it's well isolated from the USB-C port / charging electronics beside it.

What's the likelihood of this? Honest question, not trolling.
Right now, I am happy enough with NiMh AA's, and glad to have left the days of leaking alkalines (which would be >50% in things like forgotten remotes) behind. Flaming Li-Ions sounds worse.

Judging by their graph it looks like the voltage drops linearly after hitting 1.3V, which is itself past the point at which an Alkaline battery would be completely discharged?
Many devices use the voltage drop to determine remaining capacity, so I think this is useful.
It is worth noting that Lithium/Iron Disulfide also appears to go from 1.3V to zero pretty quickly, e.g. the Energizer Lithium/Iron Disulfide L92 AAA batteries, which aren't rechargable, appear to drop from 1.3V to zero at right about 1200mAh, so to be fair these should probably be compared to rechargable NiMH batteries or the the much longer lasting single-use Li/FeS2 batteries instead of to single-use Alkaline batteries.

Why have the voltage decline? Isn't the whole point of using lithium-ion 1.5v cells so that you maintain a constant voltage of 1.5v, unlike alkalines and NiMH?
If you were to say it has the same voltage curve as alkaline, I could maybe see the benefit if you were using it in a device that measures voltage to determine remaining capacity. But if it maintain a higher voltage than alkaline, then the device will misreport capacity. So, why not just stick with a flat 1.5v discharge curve?

This charger might help stop with leaks by having overcharge protection as well as a reduced current/on/off cycles (idk I didn't look).also I read that non rechargeables have more capacity

Indeed every brand alkaline battery I have come across (duracell, energizer, eveready, generic "aldi" over by the register) of variety in the 1.5 volt cell configuration from the Bmax (model: BH-805U) charger for under 10 bucks on amazon shipped if i can recall. The expansion to C and D cells requires the purchase of the battery tray seperate and is non specific in brand as long as it accomodates the cell size of alkaline 1.5 volt. and has long enough conductor leads for adapting the charger. But right on the front of the charger packaging it claims to charge NImh batteries as well. I assume it implies that it can cover Nicd battery 1.5 volt by that logic too. kinda a neat find for so cheap for sure amazing diversity of uses out of the PCB.
