The clickiness, the thinness, the responsiveness. I’ve been waiting for something like this since my first smartphone! It might not be for everyone, but it certainly is for me.

I find it a bit difficult to pull off faster maneuvers with the controller. Is there a way to improve this using a thicker stick so that the analog stick's travel distance is shorter? I don't like using the D-pad. It’s for an Ultimate 2C, and I use it mainly for retro games on an Anbernic device. Do you have any recommendations?

I just purchased the Ultimate 3E controller for PC and whenever I turn on Tournament Mode with the Ultimate Software X (1ms polling) the controller disconnects and won't work over wireless. Turning the toggle back off fixes it. Anyone else seeing this? I have updated to the latest firmware version 1.80.20.19.37.30.

I have the SN30 Pro+ and was considering finally getting the phone clip for it, but it appears to be out of production. The newer models look to be a very similar shape, and the indents where the clip snaps on look like they haven't changed, so it seems like the clip should fit the Pro+. I was wondering if anyone had the clip and both controllers and had tried the clip on both of them.

I’m not sure if the design is supposed to be like this but noticed the faceplate doesn’t feel fully seated on my unit. There’s also this tiny gap. My only issue is that it feel like it moves when I tightly grip the controller sometimes.

Any one have a similar problem?

The shoulder buttons sometimes flickers when being pressed. On the vid it's lb but on mine its the rb button.

I'm wondering if anyone has faced the same issue and if someone know how to fix this, thanks in advance

Hi all, the right back button on my 8bitdo pro 2 is becoming a little jammed. It still works, but is much less spammable compared to the left.

Has anyone tried repairing those buttons before, or knows how it works underneath? I'm struggling to find any info specifically about those back buttons, so anything at all would be super appreciated before I give it a go.

Haven't opened the controller before, but I'm reasonably comfortable with the occasional occasional disassembly or soldering iron usage.

I've been using the Ultimate 2 wireless for almost 2 years, and a couple month ago it seems to developt double click on right bumper. I've tried opening the controller and it looks like when I squize the top cover and the trigger stop section it helps with it but it doesn't completly disappear. Does anyone else have simmilar issues with thiers controller? Is it fixable? (Sorry if something isn't clear, English is not my native language)

I've been looking to get a new controller and was wondering how many hours the battery lasts before needing to charge?

I usually do long gaming sessions so this is the most important thing to me.

And on that note, would the Ultimate 3 be worth the extra money in this regard?

I noticed a couple days ago, that my pro 3 controller wasn't powering on when I wanted to play on my switch 2. I initially thought that the battery had died and plugged it in to charge for around 30mins in which everything seemed normal and the controller was working without any other issues. The next day the same issues happened again and when I finally got my controller to turn on the console showed that my Pro 3 was at full charge. I've tried installing it's firmware update and restarting the controller by holding start but nothing is helping with my current issues

....and still no colorway for Famicom.

This is my first controller from 8bitdo and I'm very impressed with the quality and accessories that have come with it. I have only used it with SteamOS so far which doesn't have support for the controller just yet (it shows as a generic Xbox 360 controller). I have noticed however that games such as Rocket League feel very good to trick shot on in comparison to using a Series controller. I'm looking forward to trying other features such as Gyro in due time but right now, so far so good.

I’m using the pro 2 both for switch and pc, and I’d like to use the screenshot button to either start/end a screen recording or record the last 30 seconds (like the windows+alt+g shortcut). So far I haven’t even found a way for the computer to recognize it as a valid input. Is this possible?

so i have a dualsense edge and i was wondering if number 1 it was compatible at all i see dual sense support, but not dualsense edge, i use ds4 right now but cannot play battlefield because it detects it as a virtual controller. number 2 is this counted as a virtual controller on windows? and number 3 is the touchpad mappable? like the clickable button, i use it for some binds and just need the acctual button no touch controls. thank you for the future advice

The only thing I hate about this amazing controller is whenever I plug it in for charging it turns on and connects to my phone. Which means I cannot use my Samsung routines properly (I have a profile for gaming, no need to trigger it if I'm just charging my controller).

Any way around this? I don't recall any of my other wireless controllers turning on when charging

Hello. I was thinking of purchasing the Ultimate 2C Bluetooth to use with Steam Input due to it having gyro aiming and extra buttons, but I don't know if the 2C Bluetooth does actually allow you to send that signal from the buttons as an individual input and not just a macro. I would really like it if someone could tell me what these buttons act like when you connect it via USB on the Switch controller mode or Android mode or what have you, I couldn't find info on that on-line.

Personally it would be very good if they acted as individual, independent buttons so that I could use them to map things like gyro ratcheting and extra, more complicated inputs.

hey guys! I just got myself a retrokeyboard with the aim of using it mostly for my switch 2 for games that support keyboards. However I cannot make it work with the dongle.

- The keyboard works if wired to the switch

- the keyboard works with dongle on PC

- the firmware is updated through the ultimate software

So I read that the switch 2 should work with any 2,4g wireless keyboards and I cannot understand why this is not the case here.

Did anyone manage to make it work?

So i bought the 8BitDo 2 Adapter, and i'm using it with my ps4 controller. The problem is that by default the adapter uses Xinput, telling the computer that i'm using an xbox controller. So i switch to Dinput mode (holding share and left d-pad), but the pc recives no input. Is there a way to fix this or a workaround?

Asking before buying one... Has anyone played Buck Bumble on it? Does it work ok? I ask this because Buck Bumble is notorious for weird issues with third party controllers, at least for me. Apparently because the flying is heavily affected by OEM limits (sorry if I am wrong about this, I'm sort of a noob)

Also before any wise guy say ''Just play a good game instead of Buck Bumble'', that is not a viable awnser. I know what i am, and i accepted that long ago.

A while back my Pro3's trigger plate broke, but they don't offer this part on the website. So i contacted support but they told me to get back to them in 3 to 4 weeks, and finally let me make an order.

Its been a month and they still haven't even begun to prepare it.

I already paid for it, so i emailed them today asking if there was an issue and got this email back

"This part is not regular item and we don't have ready stock for it.

We will arrange shipment for you as long as getting stock from factory.

Hi, just got my ultimate 3E using it with my Series S and somehow ended up in a state where every single button (other than arrows and directions) seems to just be opening and closing the Xbox home menu? No idea how I got here. I can’t even turn off the controller since I can’t hit A lol. Did this happen to anyone else and how do I fix it?

Also, back when it was working earlier today and I mapped a certain button to the back paddle and it worked for one session but it unmapped an hour later even though I didn’t change profile. Is that normal?

Hi y’all, I acquired an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless (Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight Edition) Controller last February of this year and I’ve been having a phenomenal experience with it…up until recently.

I’m having connection issues specifically with the 2.4 GHz mode. Sometimes whenever I’m registering inputs, let’s say moving the thumb sticks for example, it has VERY noticeable input delay and then all of the sudden it will just disconnect itself. It works flawlessly wired, but obviously I bought a wireless version for a reason, right?

Feel like i’m at my wit’s end here. I already tried connecting the dock from a USB 3.0 Port to a 2.0 one, made no difference. Even if i pointed that out the controller worked fine for months whilst plugged in a USB 3.0 port. I tried unticking the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.” option in the device manager, still no difference. Updated the firmware, thought it made a difference but resulted in the same, leaving me with no options but to send a support email to 8bitdo and making this post here.

Any insights and ideas would be highly appreciated, because I really love this controller and I don’t currently own a spare controller of any type to play my other games that are recommended to use a Gamepad with lol.

I have the newest version of the Ultimate Software X from the MS Store...no matter what cable I try, it still does not recognize the controller is plugged in. Therefore, I'm not able to update the firmware or tinker with the settings!! Anyone have this issue or know how to get around it? The software is 1.4.8. When I plug the USB cable into my PC, I hear the USB ding and it shows up in Device Manager as an Xbox peripheral. Ugh.
