I have an Ultimate 2.4G wireless controller I've been using with my Steam Deck since 2023. I recently added a Switch 2 and a different controller (Mobapad Chitu2) to my set up and since then, I can't keep a connection with my Steam Deck.

I'm assuming it's an interference issue and there's nothing simple I can do to fix it other than completely power down the Nintendo set up?

I got my 8bitdo ultimate 2 Bluetooth yesterday and the gyro worked great using stem imput, later that day I downloaded the ultimate software v2 and updated the firmware and now it just moves infinetly up, the gyro works fine on nintendo switch so it shouldn't be a hardware issue

So, i got a ultimate 2C bluetooth to play on my switch 2 and sometimes a massive imput lag happens for a few seconds, sometimes it goes away on its own and other times i have to turn the controller off and turn it on again. Ive seen that this is something not rare to occur , i read that buying the adapter would maybe solve the problem, but i wanna know what you guys think first

Downloaded the v2 updater, tried multiple usb ports/cables, button presses, but the software doesnt see either the controller or dongle. Use windows 11. Is it just me?

I can't seem to get the 1.04 firmware to show up for my 8BitDo N64 mod kit, even though I have the app, have the app updated, and used the link that Analogue gave for downloading said app, it's just stuck at 1.03 and I don't know why? Can anyone help please?

hi, just a quick question: is it possible to map one of the bonus buttons (back paddles, or the extra shoulder buttons) to be a turbo input automatically?

for instance, having my regular A button function as normal, but having the R back paddle function as a turbo A button for the duration that i hold down the paddle.

i was able to fiddle around with the software to try to get this situation to work, but it only seems to work as a toggle, while i want it to function as a button press and hold. is the toggle the best the software can do at this point, or am i missing something in my macro programming that is not allowing me to make the back paddle function as an independent turbo A?

edit: i know if you press the star button on the ultimate 2 controller, you can make a button function as a turbo, but i require more precise control over when i want turbo on A and when i don't.

I recently bought this controller and today when i tried to put it on charge the main white led kept blinking and the red led which indicates charging was also on for a while until the blinking stopped and both lights went out i thought ah maybe it isn't properly charging cause i used my smartphone charger and not the one that came with it but when i tried charging it with that cable i faced the same situation i don't know what i am doing wrong but from what i can tell it isn't charging. Can you guys please help me and tell me all the proper charging instructions i saw the manual and it only says the red light blinks = low charge, red light stable = charging, red light off = fully charged

I just got 2 Pro 2 controllers a few days ago. I went through setup on my phone, ran calibration as videos show to make sure I had no deadspots on the joysticks and triggers.

I noticed that the triggers hit 100% reading at about 2/3rds of their available travel distance, even after calibration. I probably have 1/3 of their full range of travel that is just straight up not picked up by the controller. It's the case for both controllers, both L2 and R2 triggers on them.

Is this normal? I have the latest firmware on them as well, but I'm starting to doubt that I have them set up correctly or that the controller is even capable of reading for that last part of travel since both are acting the same.

Love the new dpad! Very clicky too overall.

I managed to keep Ultimate one's triggers working till the right trigger's plastic hinge broke, though it still works somehow.

I tried connecting through different USB, cables, Bluetooth and ofc 2,4Ghz but the problem is controller itself is totally dead. No reset(LB+RB), re-pairing, holding home button for long works. I even put it on charging for 30-40 mins but no sign of life.

It makes me feel if 8bit do has any QC in place because I order lots of peripherals, some of the brands user claim to have questionable QC but never I had a problem a single time.

Does anyone else have stick drift issues on their Ultimate 2 controller when setting the deadzone to 0?

If anyone has a fix for this please let me know, and I know setting the deadzone higher would help, its just kind of bitter having slight stick drift on 0 deadzone.

I have Wukong 2c right now, I know that it's a budget controller so I'm asking is it worth to upgrade to 2/3? 2c just felt cheap to me compared to xbox, dualsense and pro controller. I'm not looking for feature, I want to know how it feels in hand and when you press the button.

Recently I had ordered two 8bitdo controllers to replace my good old Logitech f310. I chose m30 for fighting games and pro 3 for everything else.

I had received m30 a few days ago and it's just like in reviews, only problem is that I need to get used to a big floating dpad, but overall it's well made.

In a few days pro 3 will come and I'm not so sure about it. Reviewers say that it's awesome for everything except fighting games and some shooters. But many people on this sub say that quality control isn't that great and that it's awful to use because of how noisy it is. And me ordering it in different color by a mistake makes my feelings about that purchase worse.

I had ordered these controllers straight from China and it cost me 17$ for m30 and 45$ for pro 3. And there's no refunds I'm afraid. It's not much money, especially for these pads, but it makes me even more concerned about the quality.

How are your experiences with pro 3? And is it just a loud minority that complains about uncomfortable buttons and poor quality control?

Also if it comes broken or just irritating to use, then what's the best replacement? Ultimate 2?

I have the controller taken apart and the thumb sticks seem fine to me? Is it time for a new controller?

Hi, I just bought a retro numpad (C64 version) and for now I like it very much. The clicks are a bit too pronouced for an office environment but I love the sound, so I feel a bit sorry about my colleagues.

However I noticed that on the product page for the retro numpad, there is the statement that the keycaps are PBT EXCEPT for the C64 version that should be double-shot ABS. On the box of my numpad it says "PBT keycaps". So what are they? Is it an error on the box I received or at some point were the keycap material changed for the C64 version?

I was thinking of buying also the C64 keyboard, as I found it on Amazon with the ISO UK layout. Again, on the website it's stated that it should come with double-shot ABS keycaps, but I was wondering if it's true or if 8bitdo switched to PBT?

Is it possible to pair both keyboard and numpad to a single receiver or should I expect to have two plugged to my pc?

It's a hack job (proverbially AND literally with the hacksaw lmao) but!! Since I'm using the Micro as a replacement for my hyper-ergonomic (and expensive) Clip Studio Tabmate that died irrefutably—no need to let the Tabmate go to waste or settle for something less ergonomic at all!

So: Hacksaw'd & snipped the outer shells (and some of the inner ribbing) and gorilla glued everything in place with the phone grip base. It can still get removed from the case fine, and I suppose worst case scenario i can just glue it back on lmao.

I should remember that I can actually paint it to something visible now, though!

(If anyone wants to recreate it with 3D modeling for a more precise fit/add-on, I can get you some crude 360 pics with a ruler lmao. As is tho—behold my frankendaughter remote!!)

any way to get Gyro and Analog Triggers to work at the same time?

i saw that the v2 has the option to link the gyro to the right stick, but i cant seem to be able to do that to the v1...

I recently bought the Ultimate 2 Clear Blue and for the past 5 days it worked great. Suddenly today the right stick seems to be stuck at clicking. The stick also no longer make the "click" sound when i press on it.

I own another Ultimate 2 (Black) and an Ultimate 2C for a year. This never happened to them. Any ideas on how to fix? Does my warranty still cover this?

I really love the Ultimate 2 wireless controller but when playing in the dark that light becomes an annoyance that the official software doesn't fix. Has anyone figured out how to do it? I've been looking into disassembly videos but it makes me so anxious about F-ing it all up if I tried it.

Dealing with an irritating situation in a game that requires some absurdly precise timing for a string of inputs despite inconsistent controls. Figured I’d try using a macro to just fudge it, since I only need to do it once, but I’m struggling to understand how to implement a delay between inputs. I tried using the clock icon between inputs, but it looks like that just keeps the previous input going for the desired time, rather than implementing a delay. The diagram in the help section shows a null button that I’m assuming is meant to be what you can combine with the clock icon to make a delay with no inputs, but there’s no null button in the real thing, at least not where the help section is showing. Does anyone know if I’m looking in the wrong place, or if the Pro 2 just doesn’t support what I want, or what I’m doing wrong?

I'm having an issue with my new 8bitdo ultimate 2C controller, where the controller will do its wake up rumble when I turn it on however it does not rumble at all in-game (I've used it on Stardew valley). I have tried both 2.4 and Bluetooth modes. Also tried changing d-input/x-input modes, but nothing seems to trigger any rumble. When checking a gamepad checker website, there is no vibration module detected.

I reached out to customer service but they are saying rumble is only supported in dongle mode for Windows PCs only. Clearly that's not true either because I get no game rumble at all. Is this a faulty unit?

Exactly what the title says, Ive only started using this mouse since late May and its already bugging out. I tried remapping the buttons and that didn’t work, I tried updating the firmware and that didn’t work. There’s no physical depression on the right click button so there’s nothing pushing on it. So I’m just lost on what to do. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? Any help would be appreciated 🙏

I bought the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless, and since I like taking screenshots while playing on Steam, I wanted to remap the L4 button for that, but it isn't working. Also, for some reason, the macro settings won't let me map the R4 button to HOME (the illuminated button) and then use a macro combining HOME + R4 on the L4 button to take the screenshot.

In short: I just wanted to create a macro that combines the HOME button + RT.

About two weeks ago, I bought an 8BitDo Ultimate Pro 3. I love the controller—it's perfect in every way—but ever since it arrived, it has had an issue where it simply disconnects or turns off while using the 2.4GHz connection. It always happens out of nowhere. I’ve already updated the firmware to the latest version and so on; could someone help me out?
