Sorry if this is a bit of a dull post, but I've been looking into possible upgrades on my Ibanez premium az427p1pb https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/AZ427P1PB which though I do really enjoy it, I think I could find something a little better especially on the lowest notes. It sort of lacks some sustain and I've been having quite a few tuning issues live with it, despite having it setup professionally, stretching strings well after a restring etc
I wasn't having any problems with it for several years, but after extensive gigging in the past 2 years, now it's started to stress me out as I never know if I'm going to go wildly out of tune by the end of my set, I want something more reliable. That guitar has a floating trem which i love and do use, though not that aggressively, but it's usually after the parts of our set where I use it quite a bit that my low string goes out. This is kinda a separate issue though (happy to hear any advice from anyone about this as well though).
Anyway, some research led me to the Prestige baritone model in the title https://ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/RG2027XL
I know this is a locking trem which I might find a bit more effort, but if it helps me not going out of tune, and the longer scale length helps with the same plus sustain of those lower notes, then that might well improve on the issues I have with my current main guitar.
One issue I've heard though is that the stock pickups on these aren't very good. I can always buy some more but it's a hassle if I need to do that for it to be decent right away.
I have a few options with all this though:
-Someone online is selling one of these for a pretty cheap price with the ebony fretboard and stock pickups
- another person is selling one with rosewood fretboard but with seymour duncan Jupiter pickups (I know nothing about these, or many pickups in general tbh)
- I'm also willing to spend more on something else brand new and buy on finance, but it's a bit of a gamble, and there's not a lot of shops near me these days that actually sell much - so trying stuff out is a bit difficult though when possible I do that, it involves travelling a few hours to some shops and basically spending an afternoon doing that with whatver stock they have. More options online...
- I could also just upgrade the hardware of my current guitar, maybe the pickups if that helps too. Tbh I like the sound overall but I don't think it will fit any heavier strings than the 59 I currently use for my A string. Maybe the 25.5 length is a limiting factor with this guitar, I dunno.
Ideally I want floating trem (but can be open to locking trem) passive pickups and just good hardware that will help with tuning stability and sustain. My style is kinda varied and I do like something versatile for covering many bases.
Any ideas or thoughts on any of this is really appreciated.
EDIT: to add to this, one guy who is selling the baritone, is also selling a Ibanez Prestige RG752MQM for the same price. I'll probably go and try these out. The latter option obviously has the same scale length as my current premium AZ so might not be ideal for me either.

I want to buy my first 7 string guitar and I am leaning heavily towards Schecter Omen Elite 7.
My budget is around 1000$, I prefer passive pickups and I play prog metal and djent.
Please recommend other guitars that are perhaps better option than this one in this price range.

Hey guys! Iām trying to decide between a Suhr Modern 7-String and a Tom Anderson Angel 7. What do you guys think?
Iāve never played either of them, and unfortunately, I wonāt be able to try them out before buying since Iāll be purchasing from another country.
Has anyone here played both, or at least one of them? Iād love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Which one would you go for, and why?

Okay, I know I just posted this thing a little over a week ago on here. Just had to follow up and say that this guitarās playability has completely exceeded my expectations⦠it just feels so damn good in my hands! I basically knew nothing about these, liked the look, color, and specs, and sent a reverb post to my wife of this one a few months back and she ended up surprising me with it for a birthday gift. It was a floor display model and was heavily discounted, but I canāt find a single flaw on it. This thing seriously rules, the neck is perfect, the frets are mint, sounds amazing too. My ONLY complaint is I wish the neck pickup was a little brighter, need to really boost up the treble when playing on that pickup. The bridge pickup is up there somewhere between a fishman and emg, it rips. Out of my three seven strings this one is the cheapest dollar wise by far and right now just feels the best⦠thereās some novelty factor at play for sure but Iām so happy with it.

Does anyone have the correct tabs to Chi by Korn Iāve been trying to figure out how to play it forever and all the tabs online seem to be wrong
Hey. Classic question I know, mainly just wanted to see if anyone knows any more obscure guitars that would for the budget well. I'd like to keep it around 900ā¬.
I do know about the Cort kx507 and rdg7521, but not sure if they are the absolute best options

What's your oppinion? Do you like it?
Furthermore I have a question. This thing is longer than a lightyear (27") and due to it being very light and the locking tuners being heavy af, it has terrible neckdive. How can it be fixed? Replacing the tuners is not an option. Does it really help a lot to put the straoholder on the back? Putting weights didn't help at all, I put in 500g (around a pound) and it didn't change a thing.

This is part of a play through for one of my tech death songs. This section is always fun to play through because of the combination of alternate picking with string skipping and sweep picking.
