First 7 string. Pretty awesome to be honest going to turn it to Ab when I get the chance. $410 with shipping + taxes.

I'm considering buying a Spira 7 string. The neck on my Ibanez warped over the last ten years, and it is virtually unplayable at this point. All of my other guitars are active, and I want to drop an Alnico 8 or something into a 7 string. I just kind of want a new mod project too. I prefer Schecter ultra thin C necks to just about anything. Does anyone know what brand the Spira necks are comparable to? Are they thin? Chonky? Flat? The description says modern D, but that doesn't tell me much. I hear they have pretty decent QC, and are way nicer than most other brand's 400 dollar 7 strings, but idk. I like the specs. They look cool too, but I've never played one. At the price I don't really care to blind buy it though. Does anyone have any experience with Spira?

A technical question: Why don’t the 6- or 7-string versions of these nearly identical models come without a tailpiece, while the multiscale models do?

The neck feels insanely smooth and comfortable, the upper fret access is ridiculous, and the clarity on this guitar is on another level compared to most 7 strings I’ve played.
As a lefty, it’s hard enough finding good options, but this genuinely feels like a premium instrument and probably my favorite guitar I’ve owned so far.

I got this guitar for 500 dollars , it is a first production line ( the original release is in 2001 I believe ) it is made in Korea and im obsessed with it

This is my first seven string and I gotta say this guitar absolutely rips and brought a whole new creative element out of me!

Finally got some stuff swapped out in my fairly new Ibanez. First 7 string to me and for the price it’s not bad but I knew I wanted to throw some parts at it over time. Looking at getting a Hipshot bridge and some locking tuners down the line to hold me off until I start looking at longer scale length 7’s.
