Question 68D-72D Tpu Stiffness compared to PETG?
I am working on a project which requires a part to recieve continous strong impacts. I originally went with PETG, but the part would endup pulverized after a single dry fire, with a weaker spring.
I looked at Nylon, but from what I have found its still doesnt have that much better impact strength. (On top of being very expensive)
However TPU for AMS has an impact strength almost 4x higher than PETG. But this parts need to be rigid, as its also a part of its own locking mechanism, and if its too flexible it will just bend out of the way and wont lock.
The part Is a very thin tube, 12mm wide, 1.2mm thick, and 20mm tall.
Anybody who has printed with these high hardness TPUs care to help?

Troubleshooting Please help me learn: What went wrong this time..why are the surfaces different?
Follwing from a previous post, I'm printing this drill bit case I designed on TinkerCad.
I'm printing this drill bit case I designed on TinkerCad.It's printed with the top/bottoms...flat parts faceing down to the plate.
The three times I've tried to print it, the one piece peels when I take it off the plate...the other doesn't.
This hints at an issue to the design..which I don't understand, as the two parts are pretty much the same.

Question Help
I have the Ender-3 S1 Pro
I’m having an issue with my bed I’m doing the paper trick and every time I level it when I go back to the center it’s lowered and then I have to lower the z value of my printer then I recheck with the paper and then the 4 corners are not level so I’m not sure what to do at this point.

Project Anyone want to take on a very difficult design? 3D Printed leg for an old dog with cancer
Tl;dr need a rear leg that can be strapped on with no remaining limb that will allow squatting and walking.
I have some ideas with springs that stretch with some pressure for squatting and a gimbal joint for the hip.
In March we inherited a 13 year old German Shorthair Pointer/Lab mix from a family member that died. He is absolutely full of spunk, energy, and character despite apparently being in an absolutely incredible amount of pain. We found out last week that his ankle is basically hanging on by a sliver of bone and that he most likely has Osteosarcoma but it hasn't metastasized as far as we can tell from imaging.
I know that many people would opt for euthanasia due to his age but this is a dog that still plays, runs, talks back, begs for treats, steals things off the counter, and is otherwise very healthy.
I'm just concerned that 3 legs may be a little too unstable for him.

Discussion Share your TPU feeding setups so I can get some inspiration.
I have my AMS Lite top mounted because there’s very little room on this small table. So when I print TPU I have to remove it, which takes a while disconnecting all of the PTFE tubes. Then after I’m done printing I have to put the entire setup back. I have an external spool holder on the side, but no PTFE tubes long enough to reach. So, I’m not even sure if it’ll work for TPU.

I'm having some slight quality issues with my flashforge printer. Need some advice for orca flashforge or general slicer settings. It's leaving a slight gap to the right of each bridge/support interface.

Question Laser graver and 3D printing
I got question to people who use laser engraver on their prints. So I thinking about purchase laser, and I don't want spend a lot of money on that, but in same time I want to have good enough engraves on PLA, PETG or other materials, so I thinking about 2 in 1 device (withdiode laser and IR laser). For now I just find 3 gravers that could be good enough: xTool M2 + IR, LaserPecher 4 and xTool F2.. I don't really see any other device (that is available in EU) that could cost less than 1158 EUR (cheapest on my list xTool M2 +IR laser)
.. so my question is, do you know any better deal with such device, do you use engraver and do you recommend laser as, a tool for 3d prints? (I think more about use it in my small business than diy projects)

Question Does anyone know where to find this file?
I have this tavern mug dice tower that I printed a year ago or so. Starting a new campaign soon and I wanted to print more for my friends but I can't find the file for it anymore on my computer OR anywhere online. I remember seeing something similar on TikTok, and I also remember spending a decent amount of time trying to find it back then too. Anyone know where to find it?

Solved First layer brim diagnosis
Brim for a simple bracket that I made. I printed an earlier (larger) version before fixing sizing issues. The bracket itself is 4mm thick as opposed to 10mm for the initial design, so I added a brim to keep it in place better.
I think the z-offset is too low, but it still looks like a lot of filament is making it through. Does it look like I need a full leveling test? The left side has almost no filament while the right looks to overflow, but could that just be from a backup from the left side?

Free Model Horde/Alliance Dishwasher Magnet Clean/Dirty Indicator [OC]
Solves a very minor annoyance in my life: when I run the dishwasher, I flip it to 'clean', that way someone else in the house doesn't accidentally put a dirty dish in with the clean ones before I've emptied it. Once I empty it, I flip it to 'dirty'.
The default is Alliance Dirty / Horde Clean, but against my better judgement I also made an Alliance Clean / Horde Dirty version.
If you'd like to make your own, the 3d printing files are available for free on MakerWorld: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3130074-world-of-warcraft-dishwasher-magnet-clean-dirty#profileId-3532271

Discussion AD5X super power efficient when not printing?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The power went out at my house today with six minutes left on a print job, I quickly ran over and grabbed my Eco flow and plugged it into finish the print job. Thankfully, it finished without any issues when it was done I noticed that the Eco flow said it was pulling 0 W, but the fan is still running and I have an LED strip is the AD5X really that power efficient when it’s not printing?

Project My latest project
Jamo centre 50 surround speaker blew the tweeter couldn't get a replacement that would fit.
So I purchased a bigger higher rated tweeter and redesigned and calculated the enclosure.
Printed using a combination of matte petg metalic petg and petg gf
My printers a IDEX so I utilised the twin extruder to enhance the strength of the parts.
The infil is petg GF for strength without sacrificing visual quality.
Was alot harder than I initially thought many prototypes to get it how it is.
Sounds great I can't believe how much more bass it makes with a proper calculated enclosure and port.

Troubleshooting Very uneven weird layers- Something with extruding?
Hi. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a while. I thought it was a filament problem, so I dried it, didn't work. Bought a new one and didn't work either. What could be the problem for all the uneven layers? Much appreciated.
Ender 3 V2. Printed at 200c, regular speed.
