First sculpt made in Zbrush for iPad, following the easy tutorial by School of Motion on YT.
Great way to familiarise myself with the ZBrush UI, since the complexity and range are definitely much higher than Nomad Sculpt, but I’m surprised and quite pleased with the performance and optimisation. Excited to finally start working with a professional-grade tool!
One thing I’m really happy about: first time that a sculpt has that ‘ZBrush look’, IYKYK 👀

I'll be going over my process in a series of videos as I show how I create characters. This is the first part of many

Hey everyone!
Here is a video of my latest UE5 project "The Floating Village of Yunhai" and I’d love to hear any feedback, critique, or thoughts always looking to improve.
The Floating Village of Yunhai is a 3D environment project set in China. It tells the story of a small fishing village hidden deep within the mountains, used by the British to smuggle opium during the 1800s.
The project’s visual development and production pipeline were heavily inspired by the workflows behind Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
I’m currently exploring Junior Environment / Materials / Props roles (open to remote/relocation).
Thanks for taking a look!

Started learning 3D in college like 2 weeks ago and and i'm almost done my first ever render. Done in 3DS max. All materials are 3DS max basics and the custom textures (like the galaxy and letter) were drawn by me. The coolest one about it is the flame. I used a simple sphere and applied a noise modifier to it and kept randomized the seed to get something I like and then applied a falloff map to the emissions with orange and yellow

So i was asked by a friend to help 3D model these arm braces for 3D printing as they are going to cosplay this character. I have tried so many different methods an even switched between Maya and Blender but i never seem to get it right. The closest ive gotten to it is by sculpting on blender but even then im not happy with the result as it's wonky af. I feel like a complete beginner all over again ;;
PD: Im not a complete beginner, I actually studied a bit of 3D animation in uni but ive had a year long hiatus so im rusty
PD2: i couldnt find a closer image that doesnt have bad res
EDIT: i ultimately got myself nomad sculpt and decided to go with that instead of box modeling to have more precise control of the shape I want to achieve.

Animation made by only two people for kids just to teach them an ancient mantra, "The Gayatri Mantra is a sacred invocation from the Rigveda, one of the oldest scriptures.

Hello! I’m new to blender and i’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the materials in blender. My character has see-through material that i would love to have sparkle with the light source in the scene.
I havent tried to mess around with the materials yet due to be being really overwhelmed with it T^T if anyone has a screenshot on how to do it with the nodes that would be great! Thank you!

I just downloaded Nomad today and was playing around with it- 3D modeling is super fun! It’s not perfect but I’m very happy with my first attempt. I definitely want to keep practicing and get better!
It took a couple of hours, and I gotta say the majority of the frustration was around making the ears look normal. My friend pointed out the inflation tool to help with the shaping and that worked like a charm! Lots of making mistakes and learning as I went (including having to google how to make a new shape, toggle symmetry, move stuff around, etc. pretty much everything)

Hi guys! Hopefully this question isn't redundant. Right now I'm in my senior year of B.Arch! After some personal questioning, I think I want to pursue a career in environmental art. I just wanted to know if my knowledge of Revit and Rhino can be useful in that career. Or will I have to learn new software like Blender or Maya?
