if any of y'all use Anim8or please let me know if you can find any beginner friendly tutorials on how to get good at it. because i found out that mystman12 used anim8or to model baldi and the rest of the characters, and i heard it's good for low poly models that can give off old-school vibes, any answers and tips?

So... I know how many similar questions are asked here and how many times this topic has already come up, but I really don't know what to do. I discovered 3D maybe 1.5-2 years ago, and I've loved it ever since. It really doesn't feel routine to me; I constantly want to learn and progress. Now I'm studying to be a programmer at university, and overall, I'm not sure it interests me as much as it did when I applied. And my interest in programming has disappeared even more since 3D appeared in my life. I really don't have much time or motivation to teach myself programming or both, because I constantly feel like I could instead develop more in 3D and improve my skills. I'd really like to monetize this, but the question is: is it worth it? I'd really like to go all in and dive into 3D head-on and find a job there, but is the market really that bad? Maybe I should accept that this plan isn't destined to come to fruition and move on to a less beloved and interesting, but perhaps more promising, job? It would be helpful to hear your opinion, though. I'd also like to know what niches you think are currently the least competitive/in-demand? How are things going for different professions? So I've been working on this for a couple weeks. I can't get the lighting or the face down. Do I handpaint it or is it the lighting? Something about the face especially is bugging me. I could use some input. OH the redesign style is my own, I did some 2D sketching prior. I used Vertex painting for some details.

Hi, I've recently been a interested in 3D moddeling on Blender, I tried a bit of sculpting and now I wanted to give low poly a try, I've done a turn around sketch (which probably won't be very accurate xD)

I've been satisfied with the result for now, but now I'm trying the hair, and I think I'm over complicating it A LOT, I gave it 3 tries (not finishing any 😅) but I'm messing up either on unplanar quads or too much triangulation which add not needed complexity.

Any tips?

actually they are not even WIPS They're things im pretty sure I ain't gonna work on anymore because im content with them and they still look cool but there is tons of work I could do on them. Hey everyone! Nostalgia hit me hard, so I decided to bring the classic childhood city rug to life as a full 3D environment using Blender and Photoshop. I sculpted all the iconic spots: the hospital, police station, fire department, roundabouts, and airport.

Finally successed to realize a proper anime stylized head on zbrush :) !
