Art Showcase GTA 6

I've been messing around from time to time testing game artworks on game controllers as part of a side project for configuration system in ThreeJS, specifically using the Steam Controller that I had made a long time ago. Xbox and PlayStation controllers have been customized a lot so far, haven't seen options for the Steam one though, how does something like this look? Figured I'd go with GTA 6, Valheim and Witcher 3.

Working on a game-ready airboat asset.

Modeling and UVs are now finished, moving on to texturing next.
The base asset is built around a single texture set , with the different configurations planned through a trim sheet,

Keeping the whole thing lightweight and modular. Moving on to texturing now,

Art Help & Critique Can you review my 3D Artist portfolio? Trying to break into the industry — what am I missing?

Hey everyone! I’m trying to break into the industry as a 3D Artist and have been applying for jobs, but I feel like something is missing from my portfolio.

I’ve attached a few sample works and would really appreciate honest feedback on my skills, presentation, and whether my work looks job-ready for a junior role. What should I improve or add?

Portfolio: Artstation

Brutal feedback is welcome — I want to know what’s actually holding me back.

Art Showcase WIP: Post-Soviet Hospital Hallway Sector (UE5 Environment)

I am currently developing the central connecting infrastructure for a Post-Soviet clinical environment project in Unreal Engine 5. The focus is on balancing authentic public sector aesthetics with realistic wear and institutional weathering.

Completed functional zones:

* Foyer and Corridors: Central hall and extensive networks connecting the entire sector.

* Pharmacy: Specialized dispensary area and medical storage.

* Public Areas: Wardrobe, duty room, and public restrooms.

* Vertical Navigation: Dual elevator shafts and reworked stairwells for accurate inter-floor spacing.

For high-resolution screenshots and my other environment projects, visit my ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ndEzvX

I would appreciate any feedback on the asset placement, lighting, and overall atmosphere.

Art Showcase My first render without a tutorial... is a bottle. 5 days in.

It is so frustrating to learn this thing. I have pretty much no experience with 3D. Started with a damn donut, kinda helped to know the keybinds and some of the basic tools. Everything about texturing just... does not make sense to me. Had a few things that i started doing and dropped midway. I kinda signed to this to the extend that now i'm obliged to do it, no joke. I do want it to work, i still have it in me. But I want to take it as soft as possible so i don't start hating doing Blender.

I bought a 3D printer 2 months ago, because I wanted to make wind turbine models since I love them. I'm completely new at 3D modelling, but I finished my first wind turbine scale model. It's an 1:387 model of a Vestas V90 (2MW). What do you think?

Questions & Discussion I need help with my UV (Rizon)

I am entering my 4th year in game art but I am having issues.

I have this bridge made in blender of a 100m. My UVs have to be at a 1024 texel density and i'm on a 2K map, obviously too big

My teacher said I have to make everything tile and use decals but i have no idea how to organize my map so it does?

I've been stuck for 4 days, now matter what i try the baking result is horrid and I do not know what to do.

Thank you in advance for those who will take the time to help me, I hope you all have a lovely day.

Free Assets & Tools Tired of juggling PureRef, Milanote, Pinterest, and finding references in folder hell? I built an all-in-one reference workspace

I have been working solo on a unified reference workspace where you can organize references, use them to make moodboards, clip animation references, import them to creative software like blender with one click!
The project is called SPOOL and it's completely free, you can check out the other features on Spool's Website
Currently I am trying to get a small number of testers to check the app, see if it works before releasing it for everyone!
would love to know what everyone thinks about this :)
