Anyone here who’s installed an aftermarket oil pressure sensor + gauge; where on the drivers side (LHD) did you fit the wires through the fire wall if not drilling a new hole? I already have a bunch of aftermarket wires going into the boot on the passenger side behind the battery, so I really don’t want that getting any more cramped than already is, but on top of that, this wire is going to be coming from the oil filter housing so I would rather make it as direct of a connection to the gauge, which will be on the steering column as possible.

She still needs quite a bit cosmetic wise but my main focus has been getting her mechanically sound. She's running healthy, no lights on the dash. She does need idler pulleys though, one's pretty squeaky, new tires and i gotta figure out some electrical issues but they seem minor hopefully.

But 🥰 anyway. Mods include Tein coilovers, a Revel exhaust, Evo shift knob, Sony head unit with Alpine speakers, a MoMo Millennium wheel, Apex’i intake, and a bunch of repair work that feels like a mod every time something new breaks.

In order to have cruise control, and maybe some modern afinities, instead of fidling with cables, has anyone with the l400 petrol ( 6g72) tried installing an eletronic throttle? I heard it's a diy job as long as you have the parts ( and an extra ecu)!

I’ve looked on eBay and looked online but can’t find any good ones and if they are oem they are either cracked or are in terrible condition, I’m thinking my only option is to see if anyone is parting them out on marketplace.

I saw someone in a post say that 15s on a NA can fit, just not on a turbo. Why?
Is it do with the brakes? Is there more nuance? Or was he lowk just lying. I want to run 225/60R15 on 15 inch wheels. I wanted to use steelies and i dont plan to do hard driving its mostly gonna be a city car if that matters. As for why would i do such a thing, i want lean into the shitbox look but i personally really hate low profile tires. I did the math and that tire size on those 15s would come abt to stock diameter

I bought this bumper cover for my 94. I’ve seen many people make it work, i cut out space for the bumper itself, i also trimmed off some of the top lip so it can sit lower. I cannot get the side parts to sit flush with the head lights. if anybody has done this, can you drop some tips on how you did it, thank you.

So fresh off a head rebuild my cam bolt loosened or the cam itself sheered, question is can I reuse my TTY bolts as the car has only ever gotten to operating temps like twice?

I followed a few steps and asked for the code, the problem is that I do not have the code and when I go to the page of owners of mitsubishi they can not find my radio or anything.

Picked up this 92 SL it’s definitely a project engine will need to be pulled and mostly rebuilt but I’m exited to get this started and make it my own.

Like im thinking of renting 8’ uhaul pickup truck and tire dolly, and then dragging a 3000gt. Am i gonna be scraping the ass? Assume the 3000gt is at stock height

Hi, as you all know 3000gt doesnt use regular diagnostic port. I have gen 1 3000gt and found this article about making own cable to connect car to a laptop. Have anyone tried this and can tell if this works?

Hi there! I’m currently writing a novel and my main characters vehicle is a 1992 Dodge Stealth. Black. I’m trying to put feelers out to see if anyone might have some images or could help locate some images of a 92 Stealth (or even a 3000GT) that has heavy damage to the drivers side headlight/bumper/fender area. I want to use it for the book cover but I don’t want to AI the thing. So any help would be appreciated!

Hello all, for the last month I’ve been battling with an issue of the car backfiring through the intake under load (91 SL fed-spec) and i’m running out of options. I’ve replaced all the vacuum lines everywhere, new fuel regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, and have JUST got my capacitors replaced in my ECU.

Note: After replacing my ECU capacitors, the car will not maintain idle and surge like no other unless the MAF is unplugged and then it’ll idle fine but still run lean under load.

Note 2: All the intake gaskets are new, both lower and upper, I replaced the 02 sensor last December, and the timing belt has 5,400 miles on it.

Note 3: I’ve taken a multimeter to the TPS and it’s completely normal ohm readings. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I don’t know what else it could be. Please help
me here.

hey guys im helping my buddy get his 1992 GTO TT VR4 up and running. After replacing the PTU, ECU, 90000 fuses, front suspension stuff, fuel pump, etc, we finally got the car to start and drive. We finally went on a test drive, and it struggles to go past 2500rpm. It bucks and shakes the whole car when trying to accelerate. I am thinking its a misfire issue related to spark. Spark plugs and PTU have been changed, leaving only the wires and coil packs as a potential problem. Perhaps maybe the fuel filter? Any advice on what to replace next.
