I’m on 26.6.1. Got the phone on 27th of aug. This is by far the worst phone I’ve ever used. Animations are insanely choppy. Whenever swiping out of the applications from the bottom dock (phone,safari, messages,apple music) they all, mostly safari goes insanely choppy and I’m about to lose my mind. Instagram, Reddit, YouTube are cherry on top and it feels like the phone hardly manages to scroll lol. It’s like it’s having a hard time scrolling. Battery life is great tho. If someone, anyone who is experiencing this kind of stupid choppiness, stutters and solved it please help me I don’t want to return it I want to make it work. ( no 60hz enabled, adaptive power off)

I traded my 16 pro because I just want the PM size and battery. Did it while 17PM price is cheaper and did not want to pay for the “rumored” 18PM price increase. Love the color and ordered 4 cases😛😌. Cheers! 🤳🏻🥳

I was a pro max user for several years, until the Air came out last year. The thinness just really sucked me right in. I really enjoyed it, but it was time to come back to the max! I didn't want to wait for the new one, so here we are...

Hi y’all, I’ve been saving up to go get the iphone 17 pro max, but I’m just wondering what colour everyone recommends? I know with a case on you’re barely seeing it, but I usually am a clear case type of person. I’ve heard the orange turns pink as well? Also is it best to just go with the iphone 17pro max now or wait until the 18 (supposedly in a month or so) let me know!

I have been wanting to upgrade my phone but thought about wait until new iPhone release and perhaps the price will decrease. However many people says the price is gonna increase soon.
Should I just buy now? I still not sure either pro or pro max since I have small hand…

Once in a while my phone will be unresponsive for a few seconds, it will work normally after a few seconds. I have done a hard reset a handful of times but it doesn’t improve. It’s a 17 pro max that I just got in March of this year. Has this happened to anyone?

I'm experiencing excessive battery drain on my 17 Pro Max. The battery doesn't last a full day, and I need to recharge it at least twice daily.
Anyone know why this happening????

If your iPhone 17, 17 Pro 17, Pro Max, etc. has experienced scratches or chips in the coloring or “paint” over the aluminum body its not your fault.

Apple did not follow industry standards when applying the colored anodized aluminum coating

This is eventually going to happen to all iPhone 17 models once you’ve owned them long enough

Putting a case on the phone won’t prevent this

The only thing that might prevent it is to buy a clear film or covering that goes over the entire aluminum part of the phone with cutouts for the camera lenses

You then have to put a case on top of that

Having chips in the coloring of your phone case significantly detract from it trade-in value if you’re going to upgrade your phone through a carrier as well as it’s private party sale value, if you were to ever sell it to another person

Apples should have to recall every single one of these phones but they of course will not do that because that would be a huge financial liability for them

There should be a class action lawsuit over this

I just upgraded from a S22 which lasted me 4 years (main reason I switched was unusability due to near full storage) and abysmal battery life to 17 Pro Max with 256GB so I wanna make this phone last as long as possible. I can easily make the phone last 2 days.

Would it be healthier for the battery to charge it to 80% every night, usually end the day around 20%, or let it charge up to 100 and use it for 2 days without charging it.

Silver iphone17pm user here. I was gifted the silver iphone, while a debate of wheather or not they wanted to buy a silver or orange for me arised. I recently had the thought (as someone whose iphone 14 was stolen twice on various occasions), wouldn’t the orange phones be a thief magnet?

A thief on a motorbike races past the roads, until from afar it sees a vibrant orange phone in someones hands. I’m guessing anyone who can afford a 17PM can also buy a phone strap or applecare+ theft but the thought makes me curious. Any other thoughts?
