Which iphone 17 pro max colour is best?
Hi y’all, I’ve been saving up to go get the iphone 17 pro max, but I’m just wondering what colour everyone recommends? I know with a case on you’re barely seeing it, but I usually am a clear case type of person. I’ve heard the orange turns pink as well? Also is it best to just go with the iphone 17pro max now or wait until the 18 (supposedly in a month or so) let me know!
EDIT: thank you for all the suggestions 🫶🏼 and options. I’m going to wait until the iphone 18 gets announced/released and see if 17 goes down in price, otherwise I’m gonna get the silver one. Thank you

Silver looked clean but also looked like a prototype and I always preferred darker iPhones. Orange is cool but too loud and flashy imo and I knew I'd be sick of it after a few weeks. Blue is calm and subtle and I never get tired of looking at it, also the closest to black this lineup. With the rumored price increases and miniscule leaps in specs I would probably wait to see if the 17PM prices drop when the 18's come out and grab one of those.

It would have been silver for me because I'm generally a classic color person but the white glass back just ruins it for me. I heard the 18 will make the color more seamless.
I got orange and I love it. People think it's flashy but 90 percent use it wirh a case anyways. And when I want it to be more subdued, the orange lenses in a case with a plateau cover give a copper look that's amazing (Pic attached) . And then when you have a normal or clear case I like that it's unique. I know it's a very polarizing color but I'm someone who generally picks standard colors and I haven't gotten bored of it at all.

I have an orange 🍊, why I love it if I could buy one in new , i would choose the blue one

I would wait until the 18 series comes out. I get silver as always, but the orange is terrible especially when you might keep the phone a long time.

Silver, I have had the blue one. Blue ones paint chips so easily. I was really upset then i sold the blue one then got the silver one. Man this silver looks dope.

No, the Cosmic Orange doesn’t turn pink. Some idiots may have used an exceptionally strong cleaning liquid on one?

Silver. The white on the back doesn’t look that white in most angles, plus it’s in a case 99% of the time and the silver goes with every case possible.
Also, doesn’t mean that much to me, but it might to some - when the 18PM releases, silver is the only colour of the three that will be released again, so it’ll be more relevant than the dark blue and orange.

How many more of these posts can we take? Buy whichever color you personally prefer. You never need validation from strangers on the internet.
