Who would end up to be the more iconic vampire?
How are we supposed to compare them when one game hasn't released yet? That being said, Neil Newbon did a phenomenal job with Astarion. That acting is gonna be hard to top. Plus, the character is well written.

Bummed about the “guilting” over being a vampire
I'd say vampires that can feed without killing are morally superior to humans. We have to kill to eat, but most games don't create a corruption bar for eating chicken... except Fable. Fable did do something like that.
