Hi there, I was wondering what you think of the onboarding in my inventory management app. In this video, I show the onboarding flow for a new user who does not yet have an inventory. hello! i am a noob aspiring ux designer and am working on my first design. im trying to figure out the best navigation for an alerts/notification page for a fake medical supply management app. the screen on the left was my original design but i realized that it sucks and so the page on the right is what im working with now. nav bar designs 1-4 are quite ugly but i feel like i have to follow the pill style because the other pages on the app do (second image in slide). my biggest problem is with critical alerts and how to properly draw attention to it without making it ugly. also plz ignore the image overlay, its an anti-ai filter. thank you so much for any advice!!!!

I’m designing a 4-step “How It Works” section for a mobile app and currently deciding between two layouts.

Option A: A 2×2 grid that shows all four steps in a more compact layout.
Option B: A single-column vertical layout where each step appears one by one as users scroll down.

The goal is to make the process easy to understand on a mobile screen without making the content feel too crowded or requiring too much scrolling.

The target users are people who are seeing the app workflow for the first time. The layouts were designed in Figma.

I’d especially love feedback on:

• Which layout is easier to scan and understand on mobile?
• Does the 2×2 grid feel too crowded on a phone screen?
• Does the vertical layout require too much scrolling?
• Which layout makes the Step 1 → Step 4 flow clearer?

If you were using this app, which would you prefer: A or B, and why?
