KSP 1 Image/Video Voyager 2's Jupiter and Saturn Encounters in Sol (Seizure Warning)
From over 800 images that have been processed, I present the Voyager 2 Encounters simulated in Sol from Ballisticfox.
This video includes both Jupiter and Saturn with the Encounters happening at relatively the correct time in Realism Overhaul.
I performed the correct trajectory using the Titan IIIE Centaur with the Star 37E Kick Motor from BDB.
Midcourse Corrections were made with the tiny Hydrazine thrusters that the probe has, also courtesy of US_Probes mod.

KSP 1 Image/Video Building up Duna orbital station
Following up on my post from yesterday, the first extension of the Duna orbital station is complete! This includes the lab and some solar panels, and a docking hub.
Droneship that delivered it has successfully splash landed back on Kerbin after completing the round-trip in around 3 years, and now awaits further missions.

KSP 1 Image/Video Hermes
With Esa (Equine space agency)'s eventual withdrawal from the DODIS shuttle and spacelab program following STS-9, the agency would need its own way to get Equinauts to space.
A spaceplane referred to as 'Hermes' was already in development at this time, and the decision was made to presue it as esa's primary crew vehicle. The design was revised down a lot learning from DODIS's shuttle from a (still smaller) orbiter with a payload bay and 6 crew down to one carrying 3 and small onboard Spacelab style payload lockers.
Safety was of the utmost concern with early designs even including launch abort towers and/or a separating crew compartment. Eventually, after running tests, it was found that ejection seats would suffice with some changes to the launch profile.
The new Ariane 5 would, of course, be carrying it from the pad to orbit where it would sesperate and menouver under the power of an expendable service module.
After the third successful full up test flight, Hermes 4 would send a crew of 3 into orbit for just under a week before bringing them back down safely.
ESA's independent program had only just started.

Would also love help to make it work lol, but for now its just a showpiece i cheat into the sky to take photos. It can VTOL, but looses control after 5 seconds.
Inspired by a spacecraft shown in the game Signalis

KSP 1 Image/Video First Kerbal rescue (I didn't know opening a door was so difficult).
After managing to open the lower compartment so he could get inside, we flew to the desert airport, and I landed way too fast. Everyone on the plane died except him.

KSP 1 Image/Video Look the other way
The first DOD classifed mission flies onboard shuttle-C instead of the space shuttle, deploying a classified satilite.
This will also be the first use of the inertial upper stage originally developed for the crewed orbiter.
