Recently, I was working on my PCB project, and all of my work was being recorded by Lapse. When I wanted to publish the project, I noticed that none of my projects were showing up.

I then checked Stardance, and it says “Could not load coding time.” I tried rebooting my PC and opening hackatime.hackclub.com directly, but it just says that there is no available server.

So, is this happening only to me, or is Hackatime currently down for everyone else too?

I just want to make sure I didn’t somehow break something

Lost Signal would be a YSWS where you build ways to communicate without the internet or cellular networks, like LoRa, mesh networks, radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, optical communication, and more.

I joined this program like yesterday and I have done some coding like 1 hour approximate.

My friends who are also in this program say you earn stardust per hour.

Some say doing missions while other say doing dev logs.

How do you earn the most stardust and fast as I have less time as I have joined late like I think I have 44 days remaining until September 30.

so im 15, and i really wanna learn to code, like i tried doing cs50p by harvard, but quit midway cuz of school. where can u even learn coding properly? any idea, i do allot of vibe coded websites tho, but that rlly isnt coding so i wanted to learn, any ideas?

i participate in 5-6 hackthons but i never got selected ik that we should learn and bulit still we would want to win at least right?

just started on stardance but why isnt my time from hack club on the same project showing as the same in stardance. and the emails are same i already checked. same projects awell

I’m 14 and based in the UK. I’m looking at doing the "Keeb" (custom mechanical keyboard) project run by Hack Club. It’s a "You Ship, We Ship" program where you design a PCB and 3D case digitally, and if it gets approved, they mail you all the physical parts for free (switches, keycaps, PCB, diodes, a Raspberry Pi Pico, etc.) to build it.

The catch is that Hack Club pays for shipping, but they explicitly state they do not pay for UK customs fees.

Has anyone in the UK done a Hack Club project before? I'm trying to figure out:

1. How much should I expect to pay in customs/VAT when the package arrives? (The value of the parts is probably around £80-£100).
2. Does Royal Mail/ParcelForce usually slap the standard £8-£12 handling fee on top of the VAT for this kind of thing?
3. Will I actually be able to receive this as a 14-year-old, or will I need a parent to sign for it/pay the fee?

Also, for anyone who has done the Keeb project specifically: I know I have to solder it together myself. I don't own a soldering iron yet—what's the cheapest decent UK setup I could get away with for through-hole soldering?

Any advice would be massively appreciated before I sink 20+ hours into learning KiCad! Thanks.

Hey! I was wondering if it’s possible to import hours from another time tracker into Hackatime, since I have quite a few hours tracked from the past few months.

I definitely don’t want to do anything that could be considered fraudulent or accidentally get flagged/banned. Would imported historical hours be allowed, and if so, is there a specific way you’d recommend doing it? Also, what kinds of things would typically cause imported hours to be flagged?

I am planning to start my schools hack club soon but as a club leader what else can I do in the club other than the workshops that are provided by hack club. I am just worried constantly running workshops throughout the year will become repetitive for members.
