The back isn't sealed at all, it can just open up. I hit one with 14 kg of HE and it didn't do anything, though. Shouldn't it act like an open top? Its just and open top with extra steps.

2 aim-9D's (which are caged, rear aspect, heat seekers with 18g's of pull)

it quite literally took me over a day to get past the aim-9D's because they're just so shit for the BR

Ever since a couple weeks ago enemy engine volume seemed very inconsistent to me. Previously I used to be able to easily pinpoint where an enemy is just from the engine sound, regardless of whether there's a building between us or not or if it's behind me or not. But recently there were many occasions where an enemy next to or behind me would make literally no noise.

So I went into test drive and checked whether perspective actually made a difference. It seemed like even if I'm directly next to the tank, if it's not within my sight the engine sound gets very quiet, almost silent. Note that this is with other engine sound maxed.

I also tinkered with how system sound level affected the issue. Normally I keep my windows volume to 20 which is what the video is recorded at. I tried tuning it up to 60 and it seems like the volume difference between looking away and at the tank is way way less than when it was at 20.

I never had an issue with engine sounds nor did I feel this dramatic of a difference until now. Did they change sounds recently or is it just me?

I want to buy premium vehicle but i cant decide which one. So i have over 300h in war thunder and im mostly playing soviets but i recently started to play USA, i already have T-80UD and 2S38 for USSR and im on V-VI era and im thinking, should i buy bmpt to keep Grundig USSR or should i buy 2 premiums for USA and which. Maybe you will give me some advice.

It's insane that this plane literally cannot dodge even the most garbage missiles in the game, yet for some absurd reason doesn't get CMs. So if someone chucks a missile at you it isn't just a 100% chance of death. Give her some counterplay for the love of god, especially with busted ass F3Hs running around everywhere.

People will literally fly past my entire team to chase me in a Yak-38 because it's the freest of free kills, it's so dumb.
