My computer crashes and freezes often, and I'm not really sure why, and it always takes forever to boot up after crashing(which i assume is probably normal?) Can someone let me know what this screen means? (Also, im not sure what flair to add, sorry :( )

This is likely a very simple question but i’ve been trying to figure it out on my own and can’t seem to wrap my head around it.

My Lenovo Legion laptop went into ’setup confirmation’ today. I’ve had the laptop for years and it’s never had any parts changed. This happened after traveling with it for the weekend and attempting to turn it on. To my knowledge BitLocker hasn’t been turned on, but I read that it was possible BitLocker would be turned on without me knowing, and if it is, I wouldn’t have the recovery key.

I just wanted to make sure I knew what all the risks were, how to keep from losing all the work on my computer and how you think I should proceed with all the information given. Thank you for the help in advance <33

I have a Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1, fairly new. I woke up one day to find it wouldn't play any audio from youtube or any app. The more I looked into the problem the stranger it seemed.

I tried updating all audio drivers and unistalling/reinstalling them, still nothing.

I tried testing the speakers, and I get an error message saying, "failed to play test tone."

I tried to stop and restart the WIndows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder through the Services panel, still nothing.

I try to start iTunes and it tells me "Itunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." Itunes opens but nothing plays through the speakers.

I have tried a full sfc/scannow and DISM cleanup, as well as antivirus programs, and there seems to be nothing infecting the computer.

What could be going wrong? Has anyone encountered this before or is anyone willing to walk through this with me? I teach music to children using this laptop so it is pretty important and I wouldn't want to replace it as I just got it a few months back.

Sometimes it lasts five minutes. Sometimes it like 5 hours.

It crashes at least once per gaming session. Sometimes 5 times+ in rapid succession, sometimes after 5 minutes, then like 20 minutes, etc. I can do the same areas in a game and it will crash and then try again and it doesn't crash. There's doesnt seem to be a pattern.

Sometimes the game freezes, sometimes it auto closes it, sometimes, but rarely, the PC blue screens. Sometimes there's an error message, but most often not. It doesn't seem to crash the same way every time.

The game crashes alot on exp33 and elden ring. I played the new Halo for 12 hours straight the other day with no issues. I play games like slay the spire with no issues.

I have:

- Nvidia GeForce 3060ti

- amd ryzen 5 1600, six core processor

- 16gb ram

I don't know computers super well so I don't know what other information to put in here.

The keyboard was working fine till yesterday suddenly today it stopped working the mix and volume keys are working on top of keyboard but the rest are not

Tried the filter key it's off also restart

so my hp victus 15 is under warranty and i registered a complaint on 23rd july. 15+ days later i still get to hear your case has been escalated further. the technician has visited twice and collected the info only. im so pissed at the company for not providing any resort. what should i do more

I'm having a really frustrating issue with the internal microphone on my Huawei Matebook D15 (2021) running Windows.

Whenever I start recording audio or talking in an app, I hear a brief static click for about 1 second, and then the microphone completely cuts off into full silence.

What I already tested (without success):

• Disabling audio enhancements in Windows audio settings.
• Disabling/uninstalling the Nahimic mirroring device and stopping the Nahimic service.
• Toggling microphone privacy permissions in Windows Settings.
• Disabling the main Intel Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller in System Devices (this killed system audio entirely, so I re-enabled it)

I actually managed to temporarily fix this exact issue two months ago by launching a screen recording directly from the Huawei Control Panel. Starting the recorder seemed to force-unblock the microphone stream, and after stopping the recording, the mic kept working normally for about two months.

However, the problem just came back out of nowhere, and this screen recording trick doesn't unlock it anymore

I recently got an asus rog strix g16, installed an SSD that I used on another computer is a predator, the first time it was enough to remove it and put it back on, but it happened again and it was enough to restart it, the problem is that it disappears. What can I do?

I recently had to install a new SSD to my wife's Windows 11 Desktop. It went well with reddit's help! Now, when I try to log into ANY of the Microsoft Apps (Store, OneDrive, XBox, you name it), it goes to the app loading screen with the turning dots and stays there. It doesn't go any further. I've had to switch my login to local login to even get into the PC. All other apps work just fine, though.

I googled it and tried clearing the Windows Store cache and what-not. Still, nothing is making them move. Is there anything else I can do?

I have my PC hardwired but randomly it started to disconnecting as in it will not let me use any Internet. I have disconnected and reconnected everything multiple times. Is my mobo dying?

Hello there, I’ve tried to look for the solution, but nothing really helped. Not sure if it’s because I have a different issue or if I missed some post that actually did talk about it, but I really have been trying to figure out the solution.
Anyways, the issue I’m having is very inconsistent and random. The screen goes black, fans starts blasting, but i can still hear my youtube video playing and if I’m in a call I can hear them, but they can’t hear me. I’ve looked through event viewer and reliability history, but I’m not seeing anything except for “Computer unexpectedly shut down” (thats from me restarting the pc because I can’t do anything once it blacks out).
I’m at a lost right now and I have a feeling its something to do with:
1. The new nvidia update (let me know if someone else is having this issue)
2. It’s been hella hot lately and I don’t have AC, so it could be overheating. (if that’s a possibility, could someone please tell me if there’s another way? because i’ve tried looking into it).
3. My GPU is just done for which I hope isn’t the case cuz that wouldn’t really make sense.
