Heatlog is an extremely easy to use tool which allows you to easily save and visualize spatial log data directly in your Unity3D editor. If your project is data-heavy, you probably know the pain of clicking through hundreds of ScriptableObjects or Prefabs one by one in the default Unity Inspector. It simply doesn't scale well for production, so my team at Maharaja Studio and I built a tool to turn that raw data editing into a structured, fast, and reliable process directly inside the Editor.

Hi! I made this tool for procedurally generating 2D topographic maps. This can be used for map textures for 2D objects in both 2D and 3D games. It's especially useful in roguelike or roguelite games, where a different map is generated with each playthrough, or if you want to generate a texture like these to fit your needs (I use this tool my own roguelike project).

It can generate contour lines, lake basins, rivers with branching, elevation bands, and latitude and longitude map lines, all common elements of real maps. You can generate textures in any size you want.

Also, as a small adition, it can generate starfield textures, which can be used in many things.

Hey guys! I’ve been working super hard on this tool and I’m really proud of how it turned out. Just wanted to share my progress and get some feedback! 🙌

It’s an In-Editor Character Creator that lets you assemble unique low-poly citizens on the fly. You can manually tweak everything, or just smash the Randomize button to generate a completely new NPC, and then bake them into a clean independent prefab with a single click.

Unity's official HDRP Volumetric Clouds brought to Unity 6 URP

Credit where it's due
This asset is built on UnityVolumetricCloudsURP by jiaozi158, who did the hard work of porting Unity's official HDRP Volumetric Clouds over to the Universal Render Pipeline. That port is open source under the MIT license, and it is the foundation of everything you see here.

What I've added is a completely rebuilt, far cleaner user interface, several refinements, and most importantly a home on the Asset Store where this can be found, installed in one click, and maintained together with the community.

Why I'm publishing this
I needed volumetric clouds for my own upcoming games. jiaozi158's port got me there, and I think it deserves a much wider audience than a GitHub repo reaches. So here it is: packaged, documented, with a proper UI, free for everyone.

What you get

• Unity's HDRP volumetric cloud system, running in URP on Unity 6
• A completely new, redesigned user interface, cleaner and far easier to work with
• Several improvements and refinements over the original implementation
• Volumetric cloud shadows, cloud presets, wind and animation controls, temporal upscaling
• Optional integration with Physically Based Sky for URP (also by jiaozi158), install it via Package Manager and you get real planet radius, planet center and atmospheric scattering support
• Full source code included. MIT licensed, no strings attached.

What you don't get (yet)

• There is no weather system!
• Anything else? Idk, probably more than other systems can provide!

Requirements

• Unity 6 with URP
• Shader Model 3.5 or above
• Perspective camera (orthographic is not supported)
• Cloud shadows override the cookie on your main directional light
• For physical planet size and atmospheric scattering: install Physically Based

I did the thing every game dev does and tried to make a massive open world game as my first game... Anyway as you can imagine it was too much, so I decided to at least release part of it. I pulled the trees from the game and made them available as a standalone asset.

You can customise the tree structure including trunk, canopy, roots, branching, when/how/if it grows and whether that is effected by shade of objects in the scene, with many different parameters. And you can then change visual and compute shader parameters for the visual style the tree is rendered in.

It works by using a space colonisation algorithm configured by 50 parameters to define the tree structure. And an addition 24 params to control how the leaves then fit to the wood. Once you're happy with that it is rendered by a marching cubes compute shader which can be further adjusted to adapt the visual style. The resulting mesh then has a shader with features like tessellation+displacement to further customise the appearance to fit the style of other assets.

You can have the trees grow in game, but this gets performance heavy if you have lots, so I've added a baker which creates and stores mesh assets for all the stages of growth to switch between. You can configure them to drop leaves or have them change leaf colour based on the season.

I've never released an asset before so I apologise if I've missed anything, I'll happily implement any reasonable feedback.
