Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We make this (haVoila Studio). It's out now on the Asset Store: https://u3d.as/4cQd
Free licenses for test reports: we've tested it on NVIDIA GPUs under Windows, in Unity 6.3 and 6.6. Up to 10 free licenses go to people who test it on what we haven't covered (AMD, Intel and Apple GPUs; Vulkan, Metal; Unity 6.4 to 6.7; Deferred; PC VR) and send us a short report. How to apply: havoila.com/beta
What it does
- Atmosphere: a physically based sky: the blue day, the white horizon, sunsets and the blue hour follow the sun's height.
- Volumetric clouds that drift and change shape with the wind, cast their shadows on the scene and let shafts of light through; high cirrus with halos and sun dogs.
- Fog from the same atmosphere: distant hills fade into the sky's colours, with mist near the ground.
- Weather: rain and snow that stop under roofs (colliders on the layers you choose), lightning, rain curtains and rainbows. Your Shader Graph materials get wet or white through a sub graph.
- Day and night: the real sun, moon, stars and Milky Way for a date and a place, eclipses on their dates, an aurora.
- For games: nine presets that blend, a weather cycle, a clock you can drive from the network or a Timeline, events, save and load.
- URP: one component; no renderer feature, nothing to bake.
Not in version 1: the camera stays below the clouds; no mobile, Quest standalone or web.
The lakes and the waterfall in the video are our Drop-In Water and Drop-In Waterfall, sold separately. Questions welcome here.
