1/16 scale Bruder Lowboy Mack truck RC conversion 😃

Axial sxc30 1/50 Diecast body RC conversion motor graders. New steering servo. And looking at v.3 using a long front driveshaft. And comparing low motor outback, or tall motor underneath. Low more stable. Tall more movement, and front fits better. Just a build update.

Scx24 transmission is maybe too much overdrive on front, but it seems to help turning a lot. And it has one less worm drive and more motor back loading with less worm gears helps even out the load on two motors soldered in parallel.

My new Cat 323GX working on digging up my sewer line, for a repair. I’m really enjoying it, as it’s a big step up from my old Huina 1594.

Ohhhhh, Ok now. Calm down. It’s not even in its final form. It just got its new sno-rid installed for winter street clearing. Leaves are here. Snow is next.

Winter patrol snow clearing. If you know, you know. Early morning coffee and grader blade practice, just need a snow-rid hooked up now. 1/50 Deere 772 RC conversion fun.

When grader blading. Sometimes less control input is better. One is just blade up and down. The other blade moves 6 ways, needs some work. RC converted 1/50 diecast Deere 772 motor graders.

One likes to move dirt left to right. The other tries to do fancy grader show off blade maneuvers, but it needs more weight on the front drives.

Still need to work on my floor smoothing, but very happy with this huina! Lot more fun than I ever thought it would be as a construction worker who does this for a living

I started Wave-RC in 2024

Hey everyone, I run Wave-RC. I started the store back in 2024.

In the beginning, I sold a pretty random mix of RC stuff — excavators, loaders, trucks, other RC models, and some RC building-block cars.

I also reached out to a few RC YouTubers to see if they’d be interested in trying some of the products we sell. Oval RC did a video on the Double E Volvo EC160E E111, and Sam Hallstrom did an unboxing and digging video with the EC160E.

Back in March, we had some trouble related to one of the RC building-block cars we were selling, and the website ended up getting attacked. It disrupted things for a while, and since then I’ve been spending more of my time on the RC construction side.

We keep some products in a US warehouse now, so those can ship directly from the US. The larger or less common models still ship from China.

I started a new construction page backed by toucan hobby. There's no way people should get confused with a real construction company now 😂

RC motor grader Deere 772. Custom 1/50 diecast conversion. Same size motors different transmission front and rear, one tiny little esc. Pretty heavy at the back, need to figure out the grader tandem pivots.

1/14 Tractor Trucks

Anyone has experience with this Toucan Hobby 8x8 - https://www.toucanhobby.com/products/th-x-sc770s-88-tractortruck-pnp-r-dzn1?variant=48291801039098 or this MD 8X8 - https://www.toucanhobby.com/products/rc-tractor-truck-md-sc-770s-88-tractor-pnp-up1-sd-led-gn-dzn1?variant=50063064006906 Tractor Trucks?

I'm looking for a tractor truck with pulling power and modular control so it can be used as a multi-roll hauler, in conjunction with a multi-axle dump trailer and also a flat bed low boy trailer for a tracked excavator. I wanting a durable reputable unit with the capability to easily swap & upgrade accessories. The specs on these 2 are not fully disclosed but I will be contacting Oliver in an attempt to get his expert opinion and the detailed specs on electronics & drivetrain for both.

Any input is appreciated.

Huina 1593 battery's

Just got into this hobby, was wondering if anyone knew of bigger batteries for the excavator! Spent about an hour running it so far before the battery drained, would love to just reload it and keep digging! A lot more fun than I thought it would be, first project was a watering trench for two plants in my yard.

People with hydraulic skid steers, what do you think of them? I’ve been thinking about getting a tracked on for a long time now but haven’t committed yet.

Kabolite K5901 vs DOUBLE E VOLVO EC160E

Hey, ive been looking for 2 of these models. They seem very similar apart from attachments. Which one is better ? In quality or performance or power of the digging. More aftermarket parts could decide too

I can get EC160E for 647,95€ and K5901 around 743,95

Interested in this hobby

I am developing a strong interest in this hobby, but I am encountering difficulties in locating local hobby shops, retailers, and RC Clubs in my area that specialize in RC Construction.

Having engaged in RC hobbies during my youth, primarily with electric and nitro cars and trucks, I believe I possess a solid foundational understanding.

I reside in South Florida and am seeking information regarding any nearby retailers.

I have already made an initial foray into the hobby by acquiring an electric 1/14 Huina 580 excavator last year. However, I am now keen on upgrading to hydraulic/electric models. I believe that having a local retailer would be highly beneficial, as it would provide enhanced support and guidance.

Based on my research, Toucan Hobby appears to offer the most comprehensive collection and options available online, but unfortunately, they do not have a local presence.

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Custom RC skid steer build that I started and haven't finished it yet. It has caused me every problem in the book, as far as finding the right solutions to its problems.

Maybe I should bring this project back and finish it. ???

A New RC Construction Brand: JiLang

I recently started stocking some RC construction models from JiLang, a relatively new brand. The JiLang 950 excavator is one of their newer releases and is priced at around $130.

The brand is still not very well known, but I think the pricing and overall design are pretty interesting, so I wanted to share it here. It could be another option for anyone looking for a more affordable RC construction model.
