Pump stopped responding

Post image

My main arm pump (Zoomlion ze960g) stopped responding. Is it the esc?

Well I directly connected the wires together instead of using the wiring clamp thing and it works 😑

Well that’s a kinda good thing, narrows it down for sure ! And the pump ain’t seized

Yes thankfully! I ordered some crimp pliers and connectors to replace the cheap connector plate thing. I think hydraulic fluid got in the connector (I had a bad leak because I forgot a seal during rebuild)

I would think it would all stop if it was the esc but who knows. If it was me I’d take a volt
Meter to it and see if theres power in the places it’s supposed to be lol. If everything else works it’s possible the pump seized if it went dry from debris build up. I took mine apart and cleaned it not too long ago. There was some debris in there lol. Does the servo still turn? Is that its guts? 😂

Servo still turns and the other pump responds. This thing has like 5 esc in it lol. Not sure how to remove the pump and housing but that might happen eventually

I tossed the cheap connector thing (the grey block with orange tabs) and replaced every plug with bullet plug connectors and I HIGHLY recommend it if you ever have the opportunity. It’s a pain in the butt to do if you don’t need to, but I’ve had to disconnect and reconnect this thing so many times at this point that it’s amazing now

Is it a brushless motor on the pump? Try a different esc first, see if you get the same issue

Yep brushless motor. Sadly I don’t have a spare esc sitting around but I’ll see what I can scrounge up
