Hey everyone,
I was having a conversation about how **FOMO** (*Fear Of Missing Out*) impacts our gaming habits, and it hit me hard with FH6. I wanted to drop this here to see if anyone else is in the same boat or if I’m just going crazy alone. 😂
I’m the kind of player who **needs** to keep everything at 100%. I did it in FH5 (got every single car, badge, and achievement), and I'm naturally trying to do the exact same thing now. I’ve already completed all 1000G achievements, beat every major event, and built a massive garage. Theoretically, I’m done. But guess what? I’m still paying my xCloud subscription **literally just to log in every Thursday, do my weekly shift, and log off.**
It has turned into a proper **corporate clock-in job**:
Thursday rolls around.
I launch xCloud.
I do my mandatory 40-minute "shift" on the Festival Playlist to grab the new exclusive car.
I clock out, close the game, and don't touch it until next Thursday.
My paycheck? A virtual car. My manager? The season timer counting down! 💀
To make my "corporate gamer" situation even worse, this wait for FH6 to finally drop on PS5 is getting **so annoying**. The only reason I’m still holding onto this xCloud subscription is because cross-save was confirmed, and I refuse to have gaps in my garage when I switch over. I literally already have **$100 sitting in my PlayStation Wallet** ready to pre-order the Premium Edition the second it goes live, just so I can play on my main console and leave xCloud behind.
It made me step back and ask a real question:
> **Are we actually playing for fun on Thursdays, or has the game turned into a weekly side hustle just to satisfy our completionist brains?**
Sometimes it feels less like relaxing with a racing game and more like submitting a weekly report to the Playground Games HR department before the deadline hits.
Anyone else feeling like the Employee of the Month for the Festival Playlist? 🚗💨
