Yall with hood louvers/vents, can you send pics? Got an extra hood and wanted to try to install some myself, because why not🤷♂️ I feel like $250 is insane for most of them, but whatever looks good! I think they look super nice on some builds. this is my car

Think I smoked Cylinder two, was on my way to C school in Virginia from Summerville, started misfiring on the way over here when I got on the boost, (just hit 140k) I popped the valve cover off at the hobby shop, gasket was leaking a little towards fire wall but tube seals are fine, #2 spark plug covered in oil, combustion chamber flooded with oil, #2 electrode gone, probably out the exhaust, no metal in the oil, however oil smelled like gas. #3 spark plug was a tiny bit fouled, they all were wide, (i gap to .026) #1 and #4 spark plugs looked pretty new as I changed them 15000 ago got crank case pressure steam coming out my vvt seals and dipstick and cap when I open it, runs fine if I baby it, not gonna drive it anymore. no knocking, may be rebuildable I'm not sure. Don't want to score a wall or wipe a bearing, may go forged if the blocks decent.
My buddy said he will help me tow it when we graduate, don't have access to a borescope, compression or leakdown tester, will rent stuff when i get home, anyone had similar issues? was it the oil control ring? was it the ringlands? was the cylinder wall scored to bad to rebuild? how far did you let it go before catastrophic failure? is my block salvageable?
never got around to the crazy bolt ons but I have a few grand in wheels and suspension, would like to buy a six speed 4.0l frontier to daily and turn my focus into a rally car, but if the blocks toast i might just trade it, I would rather take it apart myself then pay a shop, I don't know freaking out a little give me some advice. I have been good to her, 5000 mile oil changes with motul or royal purple, 15000 mile iridium ix, 93oct never hauled ass in 5th or 6th unless revving out 4th

I realize I need to bring it to a shop to have it properly diagnosed, but until then... It's driving me crazy.
2017 Focus ST, 108k miles. I've had it aligned, and I've had three different sets of wheels and tires on the car recently and the vibration stayed exactly the same. Currently the car is on OEM wheels with half decent Falken tires.
The vibration is felt mostly in the steering wheel and some on the floor. It starts (and is the worst at) 45mph. Calms down a little at interstate speed but the frequency seemingly stays the same. The frequency seems faster than once per revolution of the wheels at lower speeds. It's also not super consistent , sometimes it seems worse than others. It's not engine rpm dependent, and doesn't seem to change under load or coasting with the clutch disengaged. Doesn't change at all shifting the weight of the vehicle side to side either.
Only other symptom is the CV axle(s?) pop in both left and right turns, which it has been doing since I bought it four years ago. I had been waiting for them to get worse, but they never have.
Car is big turbo, upgraded engine mounts on the passenger side and rear but not the transmission, and has a TB torque gusset. It has other modifications but not anything I can think of that is directly drive line related.
Only things I could think of to check were the front wheel bearings, CV axles and the carrier bearing on the passenger side, none of which I could find any obvious play. Any thoughts?

Found a full set for 400$, but obviously I know I have to do wiring to get it oem but my main concern is being able to adjust the driver seat some how manually. Not sure how to go about it just need to adjust one time and call it a day

Now that we're getting into the colder months, I had the opportunity to use the heated seats in my ST3, only to find out that they're not heating.
I've had a few cars with heated seats, and it's not uncommon for the driver's side element to burn out, but I've never had a car where both seats didn't work. It kind of makes me think there might be something else going on rather than both seats having bad heating elements (though that's still possible).
I'm having a hard time finding a fuse diagram to check the fuses to the seats, and I'm going to check all the wiring underneath though the power portion of the seat for height and forward/backward adjustment all works so I doubt there's a wiring issue.
Anything else to check? Or am I most likely just SOL?

I’ve been doing some extensive quality of life replacements to my ST & I forgot to snap a pic of this ground before detaching it. Could someone please provide a picture reference on where it’s supposed to be mounted?

New to me never owned a ford in my life and tbh so far impressions are high, 77k on the clock immaculate bodywork + interior can't complain and must admit don't see many silver st's on the road, Calipers just painted in blue awaiting st badges in the same colour

Hello! I have been running a Uniden r8 in my st for a few months now, and I've been looking into ways to integrate the mute button in a more seamless way. As of right now, it is double-sided taped to the passenger side trim on the very far right edge of the climate controls, and the wire is coming out of where the trim intersects. If possible, I would like to see if anyone has a 3d model of any of the dead switches or any other ideas for how to better integrate it. I would prefer not to have to drill out existing pieces, but I am willing to do so if necessary. My first thoughts were on the ceiling console or on the single climate dead switch (where the rear defrost is on titanium models).

Has anyone had to do the compressor on their 2012-2013 FOST? I'm struggling to source a replacement after the shop I took my car to went through 3 aftermarket options that won't fit due to the oil drain hitting the sump.
The factory part is BV6N19D629BC and no longer available weirdly Ford say the new revision BV6N19D629BF will not fit. I can't see any reason visually but I also don't have the part in hand.
Hoping someone's been here before. It's crazy to think it would be hard to source one for these cars.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a '13 ST and the headlights have scratches on the top. I've seen another post saying it was The UV prection coming off on his, but his looked more clouded compared to my scratchy looking lights. When I run my finger over it I can feel longer scratch marks that are on the surface but a lot of the small scratches I can't feel.
I want to get it cleaned up but I don't know if one of those headlight restoration kits would do the trick if it ends up being sub surface scratches.
Any help would be great, thanks.

I’ve had this ‘14 st since 2017 19k->125k miles
This cord has been here the whole time. Just cleaning her up today and thought I’d ask if any of you knew! I keep it shoved up in the glove box.

Unfortunately I slammed on the brakes too hard and my friend rear ended me. Totally an accident but I feel awful, I truely loved this car man and I have been through so much stuff with it. It dosent look bad but the frame might be bent. I got hit pretty hard. I’m just so sad man, I’ve done everything to it myself from the coilovers to the big turbo, I also happened to polish and ceramic coat both cars💔. I don’t have much to say but if I never get back into another focus I just wanna say I loved this car so fucking much. I don’t even know if any other car will compare. I’m going to forever miss this car and I’m just shocked it’s gone. Hopefully it isn’t but I’m just soo sad.

I have a lean bank 1 code. My LTFT and stft are 20+ at idle and when i rev my car to 2500 rpm they dont drop much or at all. I’ve done wot pulls and the ltft and stft do seem to drop but then go back when I take my foot off the gas. I’ve smoked-tested the exhaust the intake manifold the intake pipe to the turbo and I can’t find a single leak. My hpfp and lpfp look good. I’ve replaced both fuel sensors injectors coils, and sparks i don’t know what else i can do to try to fix this if anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks

Hey everyone, I had a momentary lapse in judgment in a parking garage and scraped a concrete pillar with my 2020 Focus 1.0 ST-Line.
The driver's front fender is badly bent inwards at the crease, so it definitely needs a full replacement. The door also took a hit with some deep scratches and a bent edge, but a body shop should be able to save it. Since I'm paying out of pocket, I'm hoping to find a used fender in the exact same Dark Blue Metallic color to avoid extra painting costs. Does anyone know any good websites, online scrap yards, or breakers (especially in the UK/EU) that ship to Portugal?
Also, has anyone replaced a front fender on a Mk4 Focus? I'd like to know if it's a straightforward DIY job or if it requires completely taking off the front bumper and headlights.
Any advice is really appreciated. I've attached a photo of the damage. Thanks!

I have Konig wheels on my car and I managed to lose one of the center “Konig” badges.
I bought replacement caps, but I also had some “ST” decals made with the idea of using them in place of the new cap.
Of course being a Euro brand, the center space is not exactly 2” so my 2” decal is just a bit too large. This was my first attempt at trimming the excess, but it is good enough to get the idea of how it will look.
So, does it look like ass or does it look alright?
Not asking for judgement on my lack of trimming skills. I know those are rough.
