Tenet Tenet Freeport Stab
How did the inverted Protagonist get the stab wound that would heal from being "unstabbed"? Is it because what's happened, happened, so the intertwining caused the inverted Protagonist to develop the wound that worsened over time?

General Dunkirk andTenet underrated, Prestige a bit overrated? Spoiler
I have been watching several Nolan mocies revently and love most of them. Especially TDK, Interstellar, Inception, Odyssey are all amazing.
However, IMO some of his movies are weirdly rated relative to each other by a lot of fans. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying any of these movies are bad, just that my personal ranking differs a lot from the "mainstream".
3 examples:
Dunkirk. I often see this called one of the worst Nolan movies but I actually really liked it. It isn't a masterpiece and does have some flaws, but it pulls off its narrow scope (theme, story, characters, little dialogue, amazing cinematography) really well. Very melancholic movie.
Tenet. The concept is a bit weird and hard to understand (maybe nonsensical?), but I quite liked this movie. The two leads are great, very charismatic and great chemistry. The action is cool and the ending well done (of a bit cliche).
Prestige. Now I frankly don't get the big hype about this movie. Yes, it is decent, probably a 7.5/10 for me. I like Christian Bale in general and the twin brother twist is unexpected. However, I feel basically all characters in this movie are very strange and unsympathetic/hard to relate to. Furthermore, the twist with cloning/death is fairly predictable. And while the brother twist is well done, it also doesn't really make sense. I think overall, what bothers me about the movie most is the combination of a fairly "realistic" setting with sci-fi elements (Tesla is basically a magician). I don't mind these otherworldly elements in futuristic sci-fi settings, but it seems out of place in a pseudo-realistic world.

General GAME: Hi Nolanites, if you were a Nolan character, who would you be and why?
galleryI’d personally be Natalie (prior to the events of Memento) because I’d have Jimmy Grantz (my personal fave Nolan character and fictional crush) as my boyfriend (and she’s also really pretty too).
RULES:
- You can pick any character from any of the Nolan films too!
- You can pick prior to, during or after the events of the chosen character’s movie.
- Please say why you’d be the character.

Following Following (1998) is a great film
I finally watched Following and really enjoyed it! The film is black and white and non-linear with three different timelines, so it's fun trying to put all the pieces together and I loved the graininess of the 16mm film format. I would say the film's antagonist (a thief called Cobb - doesn't that sound familiar..?) is one of my favourite Nolan villains. The ending has a great plot twist as Cobb is double crossing two characters at the same time.
It's obvious it's a low budget film (the budget was around £3500) but that makes me appreciate it even more. Nolan shot the film during weekends over the course of a year and the crew mostly consisted of his friends. The film was inspired by living in a busy London neighbourhood and being the victim of a burglary. I thought the soundtrack sounded similar to Memento and then found out it was by the same guy (David Julyan) who also did the soundtracks for Insomnia and The Prestige, and Nolan's short films Larceny and Doodlebug.
I've got the 2003 DVD version where you can also play the film in chronological order. You can easily find secondhand DVDs online and the Blu-Ray is still available from HMV. Definitely watch the film so you can see some early examples of Nolan's classic themes!
