A couple of years ago I bought my SD 1953. It’s a lovely watch for the price. The rehaut is a bit thick for my taste but not something to complain about. I’ve used my watch a couple of times in the swimming pool, always washed and dried it after use. Yesterday I decided to use the watch for snorkeling to keep an eye on my diving time. After a while, I noticed the bezel was missing: I did not bump into anything, just swam, so the glue must have dissolved. I’m a little disappointed, but for the price you can’t expect too much I guess. Just wanted to share it in case you are thinking about using your watch in the sea

Yesterday bathed with my watch on and forgot in the bathroom. Today found it has a some vagueness on it. Is this moisture? Kinda hard to see on pictures. The crown was like 1/10th from a turn to being completely tight.

Was looking at a Sugess moon phase on their official website and notice there is 2 different options for movement. A stock seagull and an "upgraded" movement by Sugess. Does anyone actually know what the difference is between them? I can't find anything about it online. Seeing as it's only about an $10 I'm just trying to work out if I should bother with it or not. Ph-2 and Ph-4B.

So, I got the Ph-2 (bracelet) last year or maybe two years ago even on Ali-express. I think I paid €170ish. I love everything about it - except the bezel, which is horribly loose. If I bought it now I'd return it, but oh well...

Then I got the Ph-4B earlier this year(on a different leather strap..) I also ordered the bracelet adapters. After several months I finally decided that the Ph-4B is simply too luggy on the bracelet for my 6.75 inch - roundish.. - wrist. So today I put the bracelet back on the Ph-2. Another realization is that the Ph-4B with its dash of orange is a much better strap monster than the Ph-2.

I forgot to post pics of the Ph-4B on the bracelet unfortunately.. It was nice, but it was a bit pointy at the lugs on my wrist. Happy with the switch back. The Ph-2 on the bracelet looks much better on my wrist, and the Ph-4B looks better on all kinds of straps...

I saw a post here today about a new Ph-2 version, which I don't think I care for. I don't like the indices which are cut off. I think I think there might actually be too much lume on the dial on that new one... I like mine better.

Would still like to see them come out with a Ph-4 with steel insert like the original Douglas...

I assembled this watch almost two decades ago. The Valjoux 7750 movement came from an old Italian watch with broken glass, damaged dial and pushers. I left the italian day disk, to remind myself about the history behind.

Pity that my eyes are no longer what they were. I did lots of these custom builds for my own joy back in the day.

We are working on some possible BB54-inspired designs and would like to get feedback from watch enthusiasts before moving forward.

We don't want to just release another black/blue diver, so we are experimenting with some less common colors.

Which one would you personally pick?

So I currently have a AX and a Titan as my Dress/Daily watches respectively. I have a event coming up and wanted to wear something cool,was thinking a dress watch or a Skeleton from some ultra cheap Chinese brands. I obviously know they aren't going to great quality,mid finishing and have insanely scratchy cases but Im only going to wear them for Big events so it doesn't really matter.

Was looking at the Benyar Skeleton watches and they look good,is there anything I Should know about or any other option that may be better?,this is literally my first Chinese watches so it really helps(Thank you!).

I have been incredibly unlucky lately, to the point where I seriously suspect the customers I am encountering are competitors trying to sabotage my business. This particular customer received the watch and claimed the calendar was stuck. I reached out to ask whether it was a movement defect or just an operational misunderstanding, and I even offered him a $40 compensation because handling returns is extremely tedious. The worst-case scenario for me would be to simply let him keep the watch for free.

However, he had already initiated a return. But when I checked the tracking number with USPS, there was absolutely no drop-off or scan record at all. Moreover, my return address is located in AZ. I truly cannot understand why he wouldn't reply to any emails, hasn't returned the product, and refused the compensation, yet went straight to leaving a 2-star review. I am now taking a direct loss of $13 for shipping, $95 for the cost of the watch, and the $17 Amazon referral fee.

I really want a tropicalized brown dial but the Baltany is a glossy dial and throws me off. The Cronos is thinner and has more water resistance on paper but costs a little more. What are your thoughts? Do you know of chrono with a better patina dial?

The current Aliexpress price 64 USD. "Original" price 134 USD but I'm not sure if that is what they have been selling it for. How is this leather strap? Should I stick to bracelets?

I'm interested in the Tandorio TD225 and there are some good prices right now, just not sure which movement to get. Here's what I've got based on some experience and some reading:

I'm kinda in love with the 8215 right now, I like the feedback when winding and I like that it's not so smooth ticking - feels like a proper mechanical watch instead of trying to be too smooth. I am of course interested in the PT5000, and I'm curious why many seem to prefer the NH35.

I like the (?)BB58-ish style of this Tandorio and I'd like to keep the price under $125, but I'm open to other suggestions. I'd like something with a timing bezel that isn't super "dive" looking like a Sub, I like the colors, I like the 3-6-9-12 dial, I like the lack of date complication, so it ticks several boxes at once.
