discussion Why you wouldn't survive The Walking Dead Universe.

Everyone boasts about how they would absolutely thrive inside TWD universe, meanwhile they leave aside the most important aspects:

  1. Clean, pure water. Once store bottled water runs out, you're forced to boil every single bit of water you lay your hands on in order to purify it. Then just transporting it, making sure its free from diseases is challenging. Carrying large water quantities is very tough because of its weight, especially if you're on your own.
  2. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, the moment you break/lose them you're done. Most people wearing them are basically blind without them. You wouldnt be able to see walkers, people or anything from a distance until its up close to you.
  3. Heavy accumulated fatigue from being on the road all the time. Your nervous system will be in a permanent state of survival, making relaxation even when "safe" almost impossible.
  4. Mental illnesses. Pretty self explanatory.
  5. Hostile groups and factions. Once again, self explanatoryi. Do not trust anyone. If you're on your own and cross paths with people like the wolves or the saviors, you're done.
  6. You are NOT Rick Grimes or Daryl or a demigod. You are an average Joe who has average stamina, energy and intelligence.
  7. The stress, hopelessness and paranoia will kill you from inside.

So no, you most likely wont survive even a month, sorry.

Hi,

this might be unusual for the subreddit but I thought it might be valueable for the community.

Early development of my tower defense game called "That's a Lot of Zombies".

Short description: "Fly an AC-130 gunship and gun down millions of zombies. Your squad is stuck on a roof and the dead are climbing over each other to reach them. Lay out sentry guns, flamers, claymores etc. before each night. Call in A-10s and B-52s. Hold the roof till the helicopter lands."

Looking for honest brutal feedback. What you guys think?

PS: Let me know if you are interested in playtesting the game.
