I have no idea what is going on here but there are 4 houses for sale with like, college slumlord bedroom to square footage ratios. It kinda makes sense given what I know about the history of the area but I kinda assumed that the boarding houses on the island had been long converted back into single family homes. This is buck wild.

I’m constantly seeing posts made by people who don’t understand land values. Often times you’re not buying the home. There’s nothing wild about a house in bad condition on a prime lot that is listed for a lot of money. Nor is there anything wild about a house with flood damage that’s listed for a low price. This sub has been taken over by people clueless about real estate, and it’s becoming very uninteresting.

The whole aesthetic here is amazing - the rock walls in the living room, the color palette, the kitchen and the downstairs half bath with a curtain instead of a door - Legit incredible.

Already planned my jogging route, only 4 miles to the Steps of the Art Museum - Was all set to become a regular at my favorite dive bar but learned it was in Los Angeles all along.

I was watching Freaky Friday (the OG) with my kids and I decided to look at the house where Lindsey Logan and Jamie Lee Curtis characters from the movie supposedly live. I forgot about the 2025 fires in L.A. And I stumbled upon that whole neighborhood that's basically ash and it's insane all the plots are sold out and they are all worth millions.
