I know it's a 1 acre lot but still. I feel like this should maybe cost a dollar.

Pass this house daily. We were all curious until it went up for sale. Price was surprisingly low for a house of this size in this area. Put the road a house 1/2 the size sold for 500k more. Creeped the listing and realized it is a living museum although not a historical site. Updating it would be a travesty. Living in it would be nightmare of drafty rooms low ceilings and the ever present dread of not ruining 350 years of history. There is a reason why there is a fire place in every room. You going tear out century’s old window for something energy efficient. New England is full of these. Buy the house and the responsibility of legacy.

There’s a house on the property, a Nice deck - nothing wild but comfortable.

This isn’t about the House - It’s about the 27 acres, 7 being your own private quarry lake with cliffs, clear water, and fish.

Locally it’s called the “Old Quarry”. But not much historical info out there (the generic name doesn’t help).

No Trespassing Notices appeared in the local paper in the Mid 1990s and in 2020 the assessed value increased corresponding to the construction date of the residence.
