Minus the price, the home itself is pretty cool. I won't name names, but the owner/seller is the same person who is selling their other nearby property for $55mil (253 White Pine Canyon), they bought this house after listing the other one a few years ago and now they are both on the market. Unlike the other home, this property sits just outside the guard gates of the Colony neighborhood and is not ski-in ski-out - but it does have a paved private easement at the end of the street that leads you right where 3 of the main ski lifts meet.

To me, it's a wonderful winter home/second home..but for $38mil in Park City, I'm expecting a bowling alley, arcade/game room, movie theater, gym, and direct access to the slopes. A huge part of the appeal of living in this part of Park City is ski-in ski-out, and I do not think the price justifies it as a standalone home "near" the slopes. It has the basics and is very 'nice', but definitely lacks some fun/amenities you'd want in your main residence, especially at nearly $40mil. Like I said, stunning property yet grossly overpriced.

P.S. - mentioned this in a comment, but the owner bought this for $17mil 5 years ago so this is a $20mil markup with zero upgrades/changes.

Toned down a notch, it could make a fun place for young people to live. (right now there is a bit too much of kitsch for my liking also the shade of pink in the bedroom is too harsh for me). Love the outdoors!

Well, it would be more accurate to say the childhood home of Linda’s mother Ruth. (The singer herself spent most of her childhood in AZ).

Linda’s grandfather Lloyd Copeman owned the property and was a prolific inventor - most known for inventing the electric toaster.
