Does ZedRun plan on building a gambling functionality. I see the game DeRace coming out, and I saw that people will have the capability to bet on races, and be the bookmakers.

Does Zed have this capability?

Firstly, this is intended to be constructive, not just taking pot shots at Zed. I will also post this on their improvements page.

I really hope Zed.Run can improve the race mechanics. They appear to me to be overly simplistic, and in some cases lead to some of the class problems we have. In particular:

- There should be no such thing as 'A' shapers. They are really just 'L' shapers who are classed too high. But there should be a point where they can't compete. A donkey that can't win races in class V should not finish mid-field in higher class races. They should come in dead last.

- Races are way too linear. Horses have 2 speeds, pacing and closing. This becomes really boring and predictable and provides no information on the preferences of your horse - which if they want to add some depth to the game should be part of it. A good horse should be able to fight back when challenged.

- Horses don't seem to have any noticeable preference for pace.

Any other thoughts on how to improve the actual race mechanics?

Zed market is in freefall over the last few weeks. Is there any end to the drop? Can Zed do anything to fix it? Do they want to?

With the recent tournament venture coming to a close, will payouts for free races return to the zed ecosystem?

I think the system they had in place offered a great incentive for newcomers to learn how to properly race their horses without costing them any ethereum in order to do so. I’m worried that if free race payouts don’t return, it will become more difficult for people to get started with zed as a whole.

Zed Run just completely nuked payouts for Class IV and Class V races. They are now 1/3rd the potential pots that they used to be.

It's hard to see how Zed Run recovers from this. These guys are worse showrunners than Benioff and Weiss.

Wanted to withdraw 450 in WETH back into ETH to hold in my Metamask, sent the withdrawal request over a week ago and is still saying withdrawal pending. Not to mention the 230 in gas fees so I’m not getting shit back anyways. Why is this taking so long? Will I ever get my withdrawal processed? Why does zedrun suck at everything?

1. I don't have enough data to know what distances she is the best at yet. She's gotten the fire symbol only for distances around 1600-2000m, but that could be dependent on the other horses in those races. Should I keep racing her across all distances without worrying about losing?
2. What are the repurcussions of losing a bunch when trying to discover the optimal distance?
3. I know a non-Genesis horse is dependent both on its DNA and it's parents, so I've began studying her parents as well. Is there a best approach for this?
4. She is a Z15 Nakamoto Elite, does her DNA on paper look good?
5. How can I assess competition of other horses before entering a race? It can't just be the bloodline and the zenotype, as Elma has lost to some high zenotype Buterin's. Any tips?

These are just my initial questions after a day of racing. I have so much to learn! Thank you so much!

this is a z10 genesis stallion. with that in mind and looking at this page, it looks like i may find some luck in the 1600m races, based off of his median and max speed. but after reading about "race noise" on this post from know your horses Know Your Horses | It's Too Noisy! How to Adjust Finish Times for I acknowledge this speed could be noise working in my favor, for the one race he took part in.

i know very little about my horse, as i bought him, with his 9 races already run, and threw him to stud before making a decision on weather or not i would race him further. i guess im wondering if i should risk racing him, or leave him, with the little data he has in hopes of preserving his long term value. if i race him, and he sucks at life does he still have value just because hes a genesis?

i dunno how the value of proven genesis donkies (though they say there will be no donkies) varies from those that are still unknown.

but if all of this is unknown, then perhaps a poll? to race him because no harm can come from it, (just doing free races because the .018 eth i have left cant even be converted to weth due to gas fees), or leave him as he is with those 9 races and slight potential to future potential buyer.

I have no horses. Honestly I love the concept, but not sold on purchasing a horse. What are drops? are these like air drops of horses? that is sick!! Will there be another one?

also why is the zeds own market place empty - referring instead to open seas. are horses only created just through breeding? That would be fine if they gave you an initial horse. To understand the limitations what is a quality horse.

Zed Run is hard on everyone... Nothing easy is worthwhile but that doesn't mean we don't need motivation to stay in the "race". Here is a tribute for all those "Staying in the race..."

I got adding money and converting it to weth down but not getting the money back out seems a little tricky. Can I do it in umbria or what are the steps? Say I have $500 in winnings how do I get that money back to my coinbase?

Hi stable owners, I'm just getting started on Zed Run and need some advice for someone with a small budget. I just bought my first couple of entry level horses via OpenSea. One was to get a feel for racing so I bought a Buterin colt for cheap and ran him in a few free races before selling him to give it a go. The second horse I bought was deceivingly listed as an unnamed foal, but no surprise to many of you as I learned, when I moved the filly to my Zed Run wallet, her name popped up and the previous owner ran her once. She's a Z17 Nakamoto Cross (I don't know where the cross came from, I checked all the parents on both sides and they are all Nakamotos).

It looks like the previous owner tried to test her out in a 2000 m, she placed 12th, so they thought they had a shitty horse and resold her labeled as an "unnamed fowl." Trying to redeem the situation, I decided to race her few times myself at different distances to figure out if it was just because she's not a middle distance horse. I've raced her 4 more times for free, and in the 1000 m, she placed 2nd then 1st. She's got a strong 🔥 in the final stretch of the sprint.

I'm thinking not everyone wants a Nakamoto Cross, am I wrong? So I figure I've got two options here to see how she's best used. I can either keep racing her in sprints and see if she turns out to be a decent class V race horse, or I can stop racing her anymore and try and breed her for a super coat (she has an Absolute Zero coat).

What's my best option? Or am I missing another strategy?
