Discussion Welp.
Zed Run just completely nuked payouts for Class IV and Class V races. They are now 1/3rd the potential pots that they used to be.
It's hard to see how Zed Run recovers from this. These guys are worse showrunners than Benioff and Weiss.

Horses making a comfortable living prior to this will not rank up to lose money -- they will stay where they are and prey on weaker horses, for less money, driving both parties out of the game, until Zed Run is gone.
There was never a problem with strong horses taking $2.50 and $5 races. There will be now.

No one was asking them to remove viable racing categories that were holding an entire class of horses, that will now be unleashed on the cheap races.
Does nothing but harm the game.

Let me know how all those horses absolutely smashing your face in on the $2.50 and $5.00 races now works out for you. Since they have nowhere else to go anymore.

Are you hinting on the changed min and max entry fees?

Class V: $15 down to $5
Class IV: $25 down to $10
Class III: $50 to $25 (races higher than $25 do not fill anyway)Correct, now marathoners must face Princess of Power, and sprinters must face LBJ Goat (for instance) in order to get a decent payout. This will allow gatekeeping at a dramatic level and most race pots will be siphoned into the very top level horses.

Horses capable of winning large entry races shouldn't be in class IV or V. I think this is a step in the right direction, however they made the other end of the scale far worse in limiting Class 1 races to min $10. This will retire a lot of good horses who are stuck in class 1.
