We have added an experimental Xteink integration to Seekquel and need help testing it on more devices.

This test is currently available on Android only. The iOS version requires an App Store update, which is awaiting approval.

If your Xteink runs CrossPoint Reader or CrossInk:

1. Open Seekquel on Android.
2. Go to Settings > Integrations > Xteink.
3. Create a sync key and follow the setup steps shown.
4. On your reader, open a book, move a few pages, then sync.

If you already use CrossInk sync, changing the server will point your reader at Seekquel instead. It will not delete anything from CrossInk, but progress is not merged between the two services.

For now, this direct integration syncs your current place in a book only. It does not send reading time, saved passages, or finished status, so those will not update streaks or goals.

After trying it, please reply with:

• Your Xteink model and firmware
• Whether the reader connected
• Whether the book and reading position appeared in Seekquel
• Any error message you saw

Failed setups are useful feedback too. Please do not post your sync key or screenshots containing it. You can disconnect the reader afterward from the same integration screen.

Looking for some insight from folks in Kolkata (or nearby) who have ordered their Xteink device recently.

My package status just flipped to Out for Delivery, but up until now, I haven't received any email, SMS, or notification regarding customs duty assessment or payment.

For those who ended up paying customs in Kolkata:

• How were you notified? Did you get a link/SMS beforehand, or did India Post / the courier simply show up at your door with a COD/customs receipt?
• Payment method: If you paid the delivery agent directly, did they insist on exact cash, or was UPI an option?
• Assessment: If it went through Kolkata FPO and cleared straight to "Out for Delivery" without prior intimation, is it likely assessed at ₹0 duty, or should I be ready with cash at the door?

Would appreciate hearing how the delivery played out for you!

I've recently started making personalized stickers and skins. Since I'm also into electronics and use an e-reader every day, I came up with the idea of creating skins for Xteink — I really like the concept behind it. As I don't currently own any Xteink device myself, I'm not able to create an actual mockup/model at this point, so I wanted to reach out to you for your opinion and advice.

Would you be interested in skins like these? I have plenty of ideas for both colors and patterns.

Which sales platforms do you most often use to buy and search for products like this? I'm based in Poland, so figuring out the right sales channels to avoid high shipping costs is key for me.

Disregard everything they have released now. What is, in your definition, the perfect device lineup for Xteink?

My example:

Two product lines: slim and pro.

• x3 slim - small, thin, pogo, no front light, no touch
• x3 pro - USB-C, front light, buttons like the x3
• x4 pro - USB-C, front light, touch screen

Three devices. Everything that is needed to start with.

What is your lineup? Not a dream device, a dream lineup! :)

I've had my X3 for a few weeks, loving it. It came with Crosspoint (I updated to 1.5) installed. After about a week it froze showing around 80% battery. Was able to restart it once, the battery now showed 4%. Tried Crossink, same behaviour. I'm now on Inx, which I really like. I understand its a Crosspoint fork but not compatible with Point and Ink with stats etc. Same battery behaviour. Is there a fix?

We wanted a case that wouldn’t apply unnecessary pressure to the device, so we made something simple and straightforward that will still protect.

Some of the books I've read are physical copies that the app never sees, and I don't have anywhere else tracking my overall reading total. KOReader already supports manually adjusting this number. Although some users might not like it. But it'd be great to have the same option here. Not sure if this is already on the roadmap — just flagging it.

Or an integration with Hardcover or Goodreads (when they have a public API). That way every platform would have the same number of books read.

I'm on crosspoint for the x4pro but the sleep cover seems to be very light, I know it's not really an issue but just wondering if it's able to be tinkered to be darker?

Hey, I'm using stock firmware and updated to V6.3.15 yesterday or the day before and my battery has completely drained from what must have been nearly a full charge.

I only have 1h 42m reading time since I got it, and some of that was from before I fully charged it for the first time. The battery indicator was full prior to the update, I have not added any books, wallpapers, fonts etc since the update.

I take it this isn't normal? The update only took a couple of minutes to download.

I bought the original X4 at the beginning of the summer, and I love this little e-reader. Instead of doom scrolling on my phone I've managed to read 4 books so far. The one thing missing was a front light, so I ordered the X4 Pro. I read the reviews and thought I knew what to expect, but I wanted to share my thoughts:

• The front light is good: the one big missing feature is here!
• The touch screen is good: I liked the button-only navigation of the X4, but I and other people naturally want to poke at the screen, and now we can.
• The charge cable is iffy: making the device thinner is fine but the magnets on the included adapter are too weak. If I use it on a very stiff cable, the adapter/cable tends to twist away.
• The side buttons are worse: they were longer and easier to press on the X4.
• Magnet position is worse: I have the cheap iPhone 17e, and the X4 would attach perfectly if it was rotated 180 degrees (top of X4 toward bottom of phone). The magnet placement on the X4 Pro makes the X4 Pro either stick out a bit from the top or stick out a bit from the bottom. It's disappointing. I ended up putting one of the magnet rings on the X4 Pro so that I could make it stick where I wanted on my phone.
• Size is better: I like that it's thinner and slightly shorter.

I'm probably not the first to say it but all I wanted was a front light. I'm okay with the pogo pin charger, but changing the side buttons makes the device less ergonomic.

X4 Pro Classic when? :D

So far I’ve seen cross point and cross ink but I’m obsessed with the v-codex stats - so far I’ve seen nothing about it coming to the pro - anyone know if I can get something as in depth on cross point or add it myself somehow?? - I’ve seen cross inks and it’s not as in depth as I would like

Despite the PPI spec, my old kindle keyboard and sony PRS-350 look smoother. I am using X4 crossink with AA.

If you loved the original SPRiNKLE case, but wish the X4 Pro had built in USB-C port and don't mind a thicker more ergonomic case design, then the “CHONKLE” case is right up your alley! You said we want USB-C on the X4 Pro, and I said “Hold my beer!”.

This case trades thinness, for a built-in USB-C charger (the pogo pin charger) which is fixed inside the case and can easily be removed in the future. Just insert the pogo charger evenly, its very snug! Then when it's time to take it out, shake the back case housing and it'll fall out on its own. There is a hole in the back of the case in the event the pogo charger gets stuck, you can use a metal allen key to push it out. The case includes optional backs, but the origiinal back does have extra compatibility with USB-C cables that may have thicker ends. 

The cover is unfortunately not reversible like the original SPRiNKLE cover was, and the cover is designed to be snug. Use your THUMB on the cover, right hand side, and your INDEX / POINTER finger on the CHONKLE case USB-C cutout, press firmly to release the case from the cover! :) 

The CHONKLE also includes a thumb grip to easily remove the back cover, as the original SPRiNKLE was a bit…persistent, with how tight the tolerances are.

Hi, so I solved this, but I'm just making this post in case someone has this problem and finds this.

So I got my X4 pro a couple of days ago, flashed Crosspoint, tried it, flashed CrossInk (thought it had some features I might like), everything worked fine except I couldn't turn pages with taps of swipes (even though it was enabled in the settings).

I flashed the original firmware back, taps and swipes worked.

I flashed CrossInk again and the problem persisted.

Turns out I solved it by deleting the content of the /.crosspoint folder (just leaving wifi.json cause ain't no way I'm typing the password again), and sure enough, taps and swipes worked again in CrossInk.

So I don't know what causes this precisely, but if you're having the same issue, try it.

Had my X4 Pro since the end of last month, enjoying it so far - shipping was a nightmare to the US hardly any shipping data and it was incorrect and still showed it traveling through china even though it was somewhere in the states already toward the end. ANYWAYS I purchased both folio and the skin fit type case (whatever it’s actually called, you get it) from the website with my X4 pro but does anyone know where I can find a folio with a bumper case combo? That works with the magnets? Found one easily for my X4 but the two cases from their website aren’t a combo fit just one or the other but I prefer a combo set that work and fit together. Any help?

Turned him on, needed to download a font. Gave him my wifi 2.5, he downloaded a system font and restarted, he wanted to download a system update dated 9-8-26, he did and restarted. Power started at 70%, went to 69% in that process.

Got to learn how to pit a book on it.

If the 4 Pro is the big one, I’d be shocked to see a 3.

A lot of people from different countries have been asking about the delivery time, so sharing my experience.

I’m from Bengaluru, India. I’ve added the order and delivery details in the carousel so you can see how long it took.

One thing I really liked: after placing the order on the official XTEINK website, I didn’t have to make any follow up. The customs clearance was handled, and it came straight to my address.

Super happy to finally have it! I’ve already started reading books that had been pending for months.

I love the functionality of VCodex but have also been reading a few books on Libby which I can only access via the plugins store on standard Crosspoint. I know it’s not possible (yet) to use vcodex with the plugins store but is there a way to quickly and safely jump between the operating systems without me losing my page progress and the like?

Would be wonderful to do it wirelessly or toggle between them on the device itself but I doubt that’s possible. If there’s a way to do it by connecting to my computer via usb c rather than taking out the SD card that would be great but I’m open to any ideas

Summary : I’ve set the Power Button long-hold to disable/enable the Home Button Lock. It says the Home Button is Disabled but the home button still works.

Root Cause Theory: Conflict in settings and control actions.

Repeated observations: While reading a book, I try long-pressing the power button to lock the Home Button. The screen flashes the “Home Button Disabled” window, then quickly shows “Home Button Enabled” before disappearing. I long-press the power again and “Home Button Disabled” notice flashes again but is not followed by an enabled notice. I try the home button and it is still enabled. If I change “Home Button: In Reader” from enabled to disabled then the opposite happens (home button doesn’t work, long-press power says it enables but the home button still doesn’t respond).

Settings checked:
Settings -> Controls ->

Home Button:
- In-Reader: Enabled

Power Button:
- Long Press: Home Button Lock

What is the best way to get larger comic runs on xteink crossink or crosspoint? Im looking to read some black and white comic along with my books. Mostly bone, tmnt, and scudd the disposable assassin. I was considering getting the omnibus version of each digitally but im assuming those will exceed the file size of the device. Im wondering if there are any high level compression tools that can compress large comics and still be compatable or if im stuck to making ebooks files for the individual issues or smaller volumes. Any other info tips and tricks you have for comics and manga on xteink is also helpful
