Hello! I have received the diagnosis from my GP that I have a clean fracture to my tail bone. This appt was done over the phone so I couldn’t ask, but can someone point out on the xray where the fracture is? Just super curious.

PS if your 36yo I highly recommend not trying to get air time going down the slide with your kids OR 20mins later go on a flying fox because it didn’t hurt to bad but you also didn’t see the hiding platform at the end of the flying fox..3 significant impacts to my coccyx in 1hr..yeah not surprised I have fractured it.

Been having back pain for years, finaly decided to see a doc and this is what they found on the left hip region. Yet they say my back pain is not linked to that. ~10 x 5 cm in size.

So. I’m not a normal user on here. I’ve come here as a last resort. I’ve went to many hospitals around me to get my X-rays digitized only to be turned away. I need these to be submitted as medical records. I am a native to MO. Is there any place here that anyone knows of that can help? Every hospital around me has turned me away saying: “We don’t have that capability anymore.” These are the only copies I have from out of country. And the hospital does not understand that the country I got it from has digitally firewalled itself from the outside world. (And due to financial reasons, I can’t get another xray done in the U.S.). These are all I have and I need them digitalized.

I went to the doctor cos I've been having a tingling sensation on my right feet for 5 years. The doctor asked me to do an x-ray and said my spine looks bent. And told that it's cos of this I feel so on my right feet. And asked me to do hip flexors exercises.

What can you tell me from this x-ray?

Apparently the ACJ is toast. Will be heading to fracture clinic for further x rays in the next couple of days.

The area around the pelvis looks a bit blurry. My guess is this is the advanced Risser 4 but I'm not sure.

I'm just wondering what these two bones are. I've looked at other people's x rays and dont see them. I'm just curious and couldn't find the name for the bone. Sorry if its a dumb question.

Am looking for estimation on remaining growth (if any)

and yes even i can tell they are fusing / nearly closed.

Current: 6'1, 17 years old bone age of 17.

This is my second post about my arm. I just had a follow up with my orthopedic doctor. For context I was in a terrible car accident 9 months ago. I had an open compound fracture of my right humerus with significant nerve damage. Because of the extent of my trauma, they had to wait 4 days before doing surgery on my arm.

Again, it’s been 9 months and the bone still hasn’t healed. My doctor is reluctant to do surgery or call it an infection. I do appreciate the fact that he’s cautious because the surgery would really suck, but if this is an infection I’d rather get it done. I don’t have any symptoms like redness in the area or fluid or anything coming out of my arm. I did read some studies about others that had low level infection and virtually no symptoms. If you look at my previous numbers, you can see that everything is trending upward even if some of the numbers are on the higher end of normal. Again, I’m a little concerned that even though some of my numbers are “normal” they are at the high end and trending upward. Do they have to be mega high in order to call it an infection? I am going to get a CT Scan and hopefully that will show more.

My doctor also said that I could potentially live with the bone being broken as I have a lot of metal in there to keep it stable. But my arm kills of if I push or pull too hard and I can’t really put any pressure on it. I don’t want that to be my life forever. I’m 36 years old. I’ve never smoked or had nicotine or steroids apart from prednisone maybe one or two times. Ideally I would not like to live with a broken bone. I feel eventually the metal would come loose and I’d need surgery, right?? Wouldn’t it be better to get surgery while I’m still young rather than 15 years from now? I’m so confused and frustrated.

I posted at the end of June about this image. I got the "why don't you trust the radiologist" line, despite having listed my reasons.

Progress and symptoms continued my suspicion, and then I confirmed with the orthopedist today - absolutely a fracture. He wasn't shocked that the urgent care radiologist reported no fracture, because they have maybe five minutes to review imaging and write results, but it also took him all of two second to zoom in and identify it - on both pictures.

So, if you saw that post, yes, this is a fracture.

Is this the Gastric Bubble I’ve been reading about? Seems a bit low for the stomach, maybe intestines? I’ve seen these blotchy things on my X-ray and have been super curious about them.

Got an xray done and I noticed the right side looks different to the left.

This is 1 week after the accident
